She takes care and thinks of everything. Just as the groom and groomsmen were about to start taking pre-wedding pictures, the button on the groom’s jacket came off. Vivian was right there with her pre threaded needle to sew it back on the jacket so that the photographer could stay on schedule. This is one simple example of the attention you receive from Vivian. There is more involved with planning and especially being the Day of Coordinator than I realized. Vivian is the BEST! You cannot go wrong with having Vivian as part of your wedding team.

rived the morning of to pick up personal items to take to the venue as well as brought our flowers to our beach house for pre wedding photos and that helped tremendously! She was constantly in contact with us about any changes at the venue as well as the ever changing North Carolina Coastal weather! We had rain move in last minute and she kept our guests updated on our delayed ceremony as the rain was moving out. She was there for our day and whatever we wanted and I was insistent on having our wedding on the pier, rain or not!!! We did end up having it turn out perfectly with a little wind, but she was right there through it all!!!! She always gave her honest opinion on everything and kept us all in line and up to date all day! Our day turned out beautifully and we could not imagine having any other planner! If there was a hiccup that day, I didn’t know about it! She handles everything for your day with such grace and ease. She also designed us the most beautiful welcome sign! Hire Vivian and your day will be everything you could hope for and more!

We knew we wanted a day of coordinator to take some stress off of us on our big day, but we had no idea what that really meant until our wedding this past weekend. Working with Vivian was such a pleasure and she went so far above and beyond our expectations. Leading up to our big day Vivian frequently checked in to see where we were at with planning and gave us vendor suggestions along the way. She planned out our entire schedule for the day and listened so carefully to everything that we wanted. Vivian also reached out to every one of our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. On the day of our wedding, Vivian was all hands on deck making sure that everything went smoothly. She helped set up our tables and centerpieces, made sure everything and everyone were where they were supposed to be, and made sure that we stayed hydrated throughout the day, which was so important! She let us borrow some decorations and set up tools, and even brought an emergency kit full of anything you could think of. Vivian has such a kind soul and did everything that she could to make sure we had the best day ever. We appreciate everything that she did for us and could not have asked for a better coordinator. and other vendors. With this experience, I have set the bar pretty high for others. This past weekend was my first time participating as parent. From my observations, a Planner has to work with EVERY aspect of the event, starting with establishing and understanding the expectations of the Bride and Groom. Without that first step, the entire process will be a struggle from start to finish. Then, the planner is along side the Bride and Groom for the entire process..(all while remaining nearly invisible to the guests)..until the last guest leaves. A planner has the responsibility to coordinate with all the participants. From the venue to the caterer, photographers, DJ/Band and Bridal Party, everyone has to be in sync to pull off the perfect event. While I cannot speak directly for my Daughter-in-law. I can speak from a professional point of view. Vivian is was one of most, organized person in her field. If you have ever witnessed a wedding party on rehearsal day, everyone comes together for the first time not knowing what to expect or what to do. And if you have seen young 20 somethings at a rehearsal, the Planner has to basically "herd cats!" Not every Planner has the ability or temperament to accomplish the basic function of getting everyone to pay attention. Vivian DOES! And she was amazing and seemed to have FUN with it. Every detail was handled flawlessly. All anyone really had to do was sit back and enjoy the ride! In the end, I believe Emily & Joseph could not have made a better choice! Vivian helped them put on THE PERFECT EVENT!

heir once in a life time dream wedding. I wish I had more reviews to look at when I chose this service. I hired Vivian to be our wedding day of coordinator. We chose The Grace package with a few added hours. I am a very meticulous person and had every detail planned before hiring a day of coordinator. I made it very clear I needed someone to make sure tables were set properly and our gift/favor/guestbook table was set up. Basically the visual design things I could not do (due to hair and make up). From the beginning little details were forgotten when we would have our status talks (ie first look or not ..which we chose not to do). Even after writing it down these details were never remembered til very very late in the game, which became very frustrating. During our first meeting myself and family members were taken back by the interest she had in the venue owners (family friends farm) and their property for potential other wedding she could “set up” versus spending time understanding what we wanted as a couple and talking to us about the wedding. Later on in the process closer to the wedding more and more things arose. I was in constant communication with my vendors. Vivian would contact them multiple times then proceed to contact me and tell me things/final numbers etc was not given to the vendor (which was completely wrong). She tried to copy my timeline sheet and small details of my wedding so she could give to other clients (or so I assume). A week before the wedding she calls my MIL (who planned, paid for and hosted our rehearsal) to remind her about attending the rehearsal. This was very distasteful and offending to someone who paid a good deal for the rehearsal / dinner. The week before our wedding I had to have a conversation with my fiancé about cutting ties with her. However since we had paid in full we decided to deal with it. I did choose to text her and let her know to contact my MIL from there on our about any details with the wedding. This was ignored and she proceeded to send me multiple text about things I had taken care of days or weeks in advance. At our rehearsal I had to tell her how to set up the bridal party because her line up was very off putting to the eyes. The day of our wedding I had to send my bridesmaid to check tables to make sure they were decorated how I showed (with photos) her how to decorate. Our dj, caterer and photographer coordinated the whole evening after cocktail hour. I believe I only saw her once when she asked if we needed a glass of water. The amount of stress I had from hiring this coordinator was astronomical. I almost had a panic attack due to feeling like we paid someone to coordinate the wedding and she did not comprehend any of our details. There are so many more things that were poorly done from forgetting that we paid her(in full very early) to harassing my mother (who paid for our flowers) about payments to the florist. I understand vendor payments are probably not out the norm for a coordinator to check on. However I told her my mom handled everything and Vivian continued. I genuinely hate leaving a bad review on someone’s business however weddings are an expensive once of a lifetime day for brides and grooms and I would hate for someone to have an awful experience that my review could have prevented.

When my oldest daughter got married I had no experience planning a wedding so I came into this with soooo many questions. Vivian guided me the whole way and made the complicated things easy. Although she doesn’t advertise herself as a florist, her love of flowers was evident because my flowers were EXCEPTIONAL! She did all of the arrangements and bouquets. She also made suggestions for the guest book and all of the little table accessories you never know how to go about doing or finding. She guided me in ways to help save money with many up-to-date websites, which was very helpful considering all things wedding are very expensive. She was a rock through this whole process and I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone whether you’re planning a small party or large wedding . My oldest daughter had about 285 guests. The wedding Vivian is current helping me on, my middle daughter's, will be having less than 100. Vivian's touch has been so unique for each daughter. I have one more daughter... and Vivian will definitely be my first call when she gets engaged!
