day of was okay..but we do have a few big complaints. They started taking away the chairs 30 minutes before our time was up..the photos were still being done and in the video all you see is the staff moving all the chairs. There was no wedding after ours so not sure what the big hurry was for the time we had paid for. Several guests had to use a bathroom and walked down the beach to the bathroom and were turned away by the lakeside beach staff saying they were for “guests of the beach”. Our daughter wanted to get just a few photos on the beach before our time slot was even over but you have to pay $30 per person to go on the beach outside of the arch area. That was insane..it was the middle of September at 4:30 pm and the beach was almost empty. We paid $3500 and you would think that would let you have a few minutes at another area on the beach the ceremony spot is attached to.
We had our wedding ceremony at Lakeside Beach. It was perfect that we could have just our ceremony there and then move indoors to a separate venue for the reception.

As a bonus, even though there is a private beach nearby, most people stay on the far side. We couldn't hear or notice them during the ceremony, so it still felt peaceful and private.

was just glistening off the water. Amazing! I was originally worried about the public beach being next door but I didn't even notice it the day of. No one on the public side ventured over to where our ceremony was (They had signs up and and attendant keeping on-lookers away). They let my friend come & decorate the arch & set up the sand ceremony kit an hour before the ceremony. The site was groomed, all chairs set up and they provided the table for the sand ceremony. And they roped off parking so we didn't have to pay for a limo..All for $900.

dated our large guest list for the ceremony which was a plus since most beach locations did not accommodate so many. Roger is great, and had everything set up and ready for us.
