About this vendor
This beautiful, rustic venue is on the outskirts of Sanger, CA, centrally located only minutes from the freeway and a world away from any hustle and bustle. It's a 24 acre ranch that retains a quiet country atmosphere and offers picturesque outdoor ceremony and reception sites. The abundance of trees and flora provide a lush, natural backdrop for timeless photos and the complete canopy of shade trees is a valley must.
We have been happily hosting weddings since 2001 and yes, this is the legendary Hobb's Grove during the full month of October, but you wouldn't know it once we're back to weddings in November. We love what we do and we're also available for Reunions, Award banquets, private and corporate Parties or Events and Celebrations of life.

Beautiful venue and absolutely hands down relaxing environment. I am so glad to have chosen this for our wedding date . Everything was perfect and all the compliments from our gues...
ts were nothing but positive! Love this venue, rustic, country, and breathtaking .
I had my wedding a little less then a month ago out at the grove. The location and venue is absolutely beautiful. They have a huge gorgeous willow tree that we were married by, and...
then our guests walked to the other side of the venue where they have lights strung all through out the trees. Everyone loved the venue.
My only complaints are regarding the staff at the grove and their customer service. Because they have a bridal room and a grooms room, I chose to get ready out at the venue. At 9AM when I am getting my hair and makeup done with all my bridesmaids, the venue's coordinator walks right into the room with two random girls who I don't know. She was showing another bride to be the venue, DIDN'T even knock on the door and my maid of honor was half dressed. Very unprofessional and seeing how it was my wedding day why would you schedule appointments to be showing the venue? Also, the venue coordinator was helpful in the months leading up to my wedding, meaning that when I called her she would answer my questions. On the day of she sat in her office the entire time, the bartender she required told me I could pay him cash the day of the wedding and then the day of he tried to change his pricing. It was ridiculous.
In my contract it stated I had the venue until 12, midnight. Every thing was to be cleaned up and out by that time. At 11PM the venue coordinator started telling my family they had better hurry, they had 30 minutes to be cleared out or I would be loosing my cleaning deposit. My entire bridal party had to set up all the tables, chairs, and linens for the ceremony and reception at 8AM the morning of the wedding because the Grove does not provide any help to do that. For the price I paid I would think that should have been included. Also, the chairs that are provided are plastic lawn style chairs, if you want nicer looking chairs that don't look so cheap they cost extra. Overall I had the most beautiful wedding I could have asked for, but the customer service provided by the grove would make me advise brides to choose another location.
Beautiful outdoor venue! Loved that I was able to have the ceremony and reception at the same location, but different settings. The majority of the location is shaded which defin...
itely helped with temperature control for an outdoor wedding in July. The only trouble I had was delayed responses from the contact regarding questions. Great in the beginning, but towards the wedding date, it would take many messages before receiving a returned call.
The Grove was beautiful. Everyone loved the area and the green trees. The facility was clean and the coordinators ready, willing, & organized. Vikki was amazing. Her communication ...
was outstanding and couldn't have done it without her the day of coordination. They are so accommodating and want you to have a good time. Thank you so much
It was HOT in July, but this place was too good to pass up. The value included the venue rental, tables, chairs, linens, a bar, dressing rooms, and a whole bunch of other stuff!!! ...
There were THREE spots to choose for the ceremony and the reception area was GORGEOUS!!! We had some hang ups, but the venue staff was AMAZING, anything I needed, they provided! At night, the venue is lit up with thousands of lights - all my guests said it was like the main street electrical parade and SO pretty. Definately a GREAT value for the budget stressing bride!!!
I love this place, Enica was great until the day of the wedding she was no help then but overall it is a beautiful place.
The venue itself is a very pretty and rustic ranch setting. Perfect for a semi-formal and fun event.
We had a few problems with communication months before the wedding but thankfully everything turned out perfect. A beautiful outdoor site and the setting that both my now husband a...
