Weddings at The Grove

then our guests walked to the other side of the venue where they have lights strung all through out the trees. Everyone loved the venue. My only complaints are regarding the staff at the grove and their customer service. Because they have a bridal room and a grooms room, I chose to get ready out at the venue. At 9AM when I am getting my hair and makeup done with all my bridesmaids, the venue's coordinator walks right into the room with two random girls who I don't know. She was showing another bride to be the venue, DIDN'T even knock on the door and my maid of honor was half dressed. Very unprofessional and seeing how it was my wedding day why would you schedule appointments to be showing the venue? Also, the venue coordinator was helpful in the months leading up to my wedding, meaning that when I called her she would answer my questions. On the day of she sat in her office the entire time, the bartender she required told me I could pay him cash the day of the wedding and then the day of he tried to change his pricing. It was ridiculous. In my contract it stated I had the venue until 12, midnight. Every thing was to be cleaned up and out by that time. At 11PM the venue coordinator started telling my family they had better hurry, they had 30 minutes to be cleared out or I would be loosing my cleaning deposit. My entire bridal party had to set up all the tables, chairs, and linens for the ceremony and reception at 8AM the morning of the wedding because the Grove does not provide any help to do that. For the price I paid I would think that should have been included. Also, the chairs that are provided are plastic lawn style chairs, if you want nicer looking chairs that don't look so cheap they cost extra. Overall I had the most beautiful wedding I could have asked for, but the customer service provided by the grove would make me advise brides to choose another location.

itely helped with temperature control for an outdoor wedding in July. The only trouble I had was delayed responses from the contact regarding questions. Great in the beginning, but towards the wedding date, it would take many messages before receiving a returned call.

There were THREE spots to choose for the ceremony and the reception area was GORGEOUS!!! We had some hang ups, but the venue staff was AMAZING, anything I needed, they provided! At night, the venue is lit up with thousands of lights - all my guests said it was like the main street electrical parade and SO pretty. Definately a GREAT value for the budget stressing bride!!!
