Sheri and her team at Weddings by Accomplished were without a doubt the best choice we could've made in our wedding planning journey. Sheri was so helpful that it's hard to describe until you've been through it. Not only does Sheri take care of all of the tasks you're worried about, but more importantly, she takes care of all the tasks you would have never thought needed attention and time, and makes sure they get done. She is a pleasure to work with, and does a great job of keeping us on schedule with decisions that need to be made without overwhelming us. That was something we really needed, and I can't imagine having to do it without her. Our wedding went off without a hitch because Sheri had out back. I enjoyed the experience of working with Sheri for my son's wedding. She is very good at communication and did a great job managing all events. I cannot thank Sheri enough for making our wedding day amazing, not to mention all the help planning ahead of the big day. Her expertise came in clutch throughout the whole process. From vendor selection, to attire recommendations, to sequencing of the day, her perspective was the glue that held me and my wife together, guiding us through the process. I normally do not find myself posting reviews and typically only have the urge when I feel like people need to be warned to stay away from a product or service. This review is similar in that a warning still needs to be relayed, just not against The Accomplished Traveler as you may be thinking. This warning is for anyone thinking of getting married without hiring Sheri and The Accomplished Traveler. Don't do it. Full stop. Sheri and team are worth every penny and will turn a stressful planning process and potentially stressful event into the wedding of your dreams. You will get your time back and you and your guest and family can simply enjoy the event. Sheri will save your life and your relationships, not just to your betrothed, but everyone related to the event. Life occasionally introduces you to people who simply excel at what they do. Sheri is one of these people. Right from the start Sheri truly connected with us in planning the wedding of our vision. If you have not yet planned an event or wedding, like I had not, you may not realize just how many personalities and relationships need to be managed at once, not to mention the actual logistics of the wedding. Sheri handed all of this, seemingly with ease. Without getting into too many specifics the best way I can describe our experience with Sheri and the Accomplished Traveler is through my first hand account of the wedding from breaking ground on planning until brunch cleanup at the end: I never once dealt with a single complication or situation I did not want to deal with and our remote wedding turned out perfect.

Working with Sheri from Accomplished weddings was just what we needed for a destination wedding in Italy. I must admit I was a bit standoffish at first since I’m someone that feels like l can just do it myself and figure it out, but since it was my bride that would have to do most of the heavy lifting and decision making it really wasn’t something I could be apposed to. I have to say though I am so glad we had Sheri in our corner for the bulk of the heavy lifting. We met Sheri a couple of times prior to starting the process so she could get to know us and vice versa and really tailor the experience to us. She was very professional throughout the whole process. We would give her some basic information and requirements and then quickly would be presented with two to three options that allowed us to be engaged and shape the wedding but not have to do the “grunt” work of tracking down the information. All the venders that we worked with and were presented with were very professional and were highly recommended. Not everything went perfect, it’s a wedding, things happen, whether it’s an extra car needed, more fans needed due to the heat or even a plan B in case it rained, Sheri was always there to get us through it. Everything couldn’t have gone better, from helping book travel not only for us but our family, to setting up the week’s itinerary for the whole trip, finding us the best excursions and finally working with all the wedding team, they all worked as a team to make our day the best day ever. We were so happy with everything and would highly recommend Sheri to anyone that needed her services, it was well worth it. In fact we already made one referral when we got back from the trip…

Sheri and her team are exceptional. I could not have imagined a better wedding thanks to all of her efforts. She kept me on schedule for planning, streamlined all communications, and negotiated flawlessly with vendors. The day of wedding experience was completely stress free. I was free to enjoy all aspects of my wedding without having to worry about a thing day of - everything was completely organized and taken care of, allowing me to be fully present and treasure the experience. From the get go, she took the time to understand my vibe, aesthetic, and vision and heard any concerns around budget and addressed these when presenting vendor selections. She then developed relationships with these vendors to communicate my desires in an authentic way. Early on, she earned my trust, and was always open to my input, especially since I was very involved in the design choices, and wanted to curate a particular experience. Since it was a destination wedding, having her coordinate accommodations was essential. Her experience was paramount, as she thought of so many aspects I had never considered. She also always made everyone involved in the planning process, including parents and family, felt heard without challenging options and perspectives. This is one of her most valuable skills - to listen, integrate, and devise a plan that is inclusive yet aligned. Her straightforward nature always gets things done in a way that is very direct and professional, yet welcoming and approachable. Furthermore, she has a unique ability to make you feel special and seen throughout the process. I couldn't be happier with my experience working with her and her incredible team, and would recommend her to anyone, not just for weddings, but for any event planning. She simply nailed my vision and her execution was perfect. Investing in a wedding planner was by far the most valuable aspect of my wedding and I would not hesitate to choose Sheri and her team.

Sheri helped us plan our destination wedding in Mexico. She went above and beyond to make sure all our guests and ourselves were all booked and set. She was attentive to our emails even after the wedding day. It was such a pleasure to work with her and I would highly recommend her!

I hired Sheri for a 50-person trip to Cabo, and loved her so much I asked her to help with my wedding and honeymoon shortly after. You will not find a more caring, attentive and detail oriented planner. Sheri thinks of everything so you can enjoy the most special times of your life with your loved ones. Sheri was amazing to work with. She was proactive, responsive and soooo helpful getting outrage wedding organized. She helped source the space and vendors to work with, and managed those relationships, to the point where it felt we were a guest at our own wedding. I highly recommend working with her!

As a very particular and sometimes high strung Mother of the Bride ;) I was worried the wedding planning process would be stressful, but then we hired Sheri Israel. Sheri made sure that we enjoyed planning the wedding even dealing with many personal obstacles the past year and a half. I just can't say enough about Sheri - between changing our wedding dates, dealing with COVID unknowns and many moving pieces - Sheri stayed incredibly organized, calm and positive. We hosted a full wedding weekend in New Jersey, from a rehearsal dinner and bonfire on the beach to a 265 person black tie wedding at the Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury and a send off brunch the following day. Every single thing was perfectly executed and managed by Sheri, Blaine and the rest of her team. I was able to enjoy every moment of the weekend without worrying about all the details. Sheri became a part of our family and we couldn't have done this without her!

A 5 star review seems inadequate of a rating for the job that Sheri did for our weddings. Yes, that's plural, she helped us plan not one but two weddings a year apart, both in October working with Pandemic Protocols. She is organized, has an amazing attention to detail, always steps ahead, has a wonderful network of people she works with and very professional. She always gave great advice and alternative options on how to incorporate what we wanted to accomplish. With Sheri by our side, we knew she would have our best interest when representing us to our vendors. Those vendors in turn would tell us how great she was to work with. That speaks volumes to me. Her love for event planning as well as her clients comes through in the final product. Our wedding was amazing and we had the best time. The vendors she helped us pick out were all such amazing people. She gave us the wedding we wanted ... twice, and both ran so smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sheri and Celebrations by Accomplished Traveler.

I was one of the maid of honor of my bestie wedding party but I can tell you that the team from Celebrations by the Accomplished Traveler made everything run so smoothly and my only job was to have a great time. In which I did. Any anticipation you can think of they took care of it already. They are very detailed and organized in everything. It was a pleasure working with them. I highly recommend them.

One wedding for 2020 in the middle of the pandemic and then the big celebration for 2021. Everything turned out beautifully!

Hiring Sheri as our wedding planner was the best decision we made for our destination wedding in Costa Rica. Besides the obvious...helping us plan a beautiful wedding and choosing all of the details, decor, food, etc., she helped with planning excursions for us and our guests, comps for us, and the most valuable...helping with travel arrangements for our guests. When they had a question (or comment!) we directed them to Sheri. Besides doing an awesome job Sheri was a joy to work with...so upbeat and friendly and positive. The level of professionalism and attention to detail that Sheri and her team provided throughout my friends’ destination wedding weekend was impeccable. Leading up to the trip, the Celebrations team assisted me (and all the guests) with their travel arrangements to ensure everyone’s accommodations and transportation was taken care of. This made planning to attend a destination wedding totally painless. Since we had been in correspondence before the wedding, it was so nice to meet Sheri upon my arrival, and her team couldn't have been more welcoming. The weekend’s festivities consisted of multiple events, in addition to the amazing wedding day, and each event was so memorable and fun. Every fine detail was looked after meticulously. Sheri and her excellent team were not only there to ensure the bride and groom were happy, but they made every effort to ensure each guest was having the time of their life as well. There was an extra level of care and personal touches in each step of the planning and execution. I would highly recommend Celebrations by The Accomplished Traveler’s services!

The bride of the wedding I attended is a dear friend who has years of experience in PR/Event Planning - which is how we initially met. From the moment she hired Sheri, she was instantly put at ease - that says a lot about a vendor, but even more so from someone whose an expert herself. I already had high expectations for the day-of, but I was truly blown away by the festivities. It made me want another wedding. As someone whose also in the industry, I noticed every detail was thought through and beautifully executed. What was truly touching was the rapport between Sheri and the bride and groom, along with her family. It all felt really personal -- after going through the wedding circuit, it really stood out to me.

My husband and I were planning to take on the lion’s share of planning our wedding and when discussing this with a friend, she suggested we consider looking for a day-off wedding coordinator. We had interviewed several coordinators with little to no success until we met with Sheri and The Accomplished Traveler Team. They’re professionalism and attention to detail helped alleviate the stress of planning a wedding. Sheri in particular, helped with providing additional suggestions to help our guests feel more welcomed and comfortable during the event; shawls for the ladies for the cool October ceremony and slippers for the ladies to slip into should they need a brake from their heels were just two great ideas she suggested and we hadn’t considered for our guests. Sheri and TAT orchestrated our wedding day with such finesse and professionalism neither my husband nor I had to worry about the minor details during the day or the last minute changes that sometimes need to happen during a wedding. We were able to enjoy our day, our family, and our friends without having to worry. We cannot recommend Sheri and TAT enough and they do amazing work.

There are always a lot of moving pieces when planning a wedding and arguably a lot of stress associated with it. A good friend of ours suggested we look into a day-of wedding coordinator to help with the burden. While interviewing planners, my husband and I weren’t sure if we would find the right person/group, until we met with Sheri and The Accomplished Traveler (TAT). Their professionalism, insights, and suggestions with décor, flow of the day, and orchestrating all of the moving parts of our wedding removed all the stressed leading up to our wedding and the day off. Sheri’s professionalism is unrivaled; from dealing with all of our vendors to having to manage some difficult situations at the wedding venue, which we didn’t find out about until the day after, Sheri managed it all. My husband and I were able to enjoy our wedding with our friends and family and not have to worry about the details because we had an amazing team supporting us through Sheri and TAT. Sheri is a truly amazing individual and in the end, the best way I can describe her work is this: we were able to be guests at our own wedding. We were truly able to be present and able to appreciate everything the day had to offer. We can not recommend Sheri and TAT enough.

We started our wedding planner search looking for local event planning in the city of our destination wedding, San Antonio, which turned out to be the wrong choice since that really limited us. Then we ended up using our travel agents who were also in the event planning business, which works out especially well for a destination wedding. Sheri and the TAT team seamlessly coordinated every aspect of our multi-day wedding weekend, from the budget, venues, hotels, transportation, entertainment, catering, photographer, videographer, activities for the guests, decorations, florist, beauty (hair/makeup/nails), invitations/stationary, gifts, seating charts and more of course. On our wedding day, we knew that we had nothing to stress about because everything was being taken care of by Sheri and her team. We couldn't have asked for a better planner. The team at TAT also sent us a beautiful bouquet of flowers on our one year anniversary. Our wedding was the most spectacular weekend, we absolutely loved everything! Sheri, Eric and Blaine went above and beyond. We recommend TAT wholeheartedly.

Our destination wedding would not have been possible, as well-executed or as magical if it was not for Celebrations at the Accomplished Traveler.  The experience was beyond our expectations. We want to go back! We were all over the map picking a place to get married.  Sheri at the Accomplished Traveler helped source several authentic destinations and properties.  She listened to our ideas and dreams of our wedding and once we finalized a location, she and her team jumped into cultivating a customized wedding experience for us and our guests!    The ability for Sheri and her team Taylor and Blaine, who were both wonderful to also work with, to organize the entire three days was priceless for us.  We were lucky to be able to spread our wedding over three days at a boutique resort buyout, creating a wedding weekend and several opportunities for our friends and family to get to know one another.  They covered all communications with our guests as well as the required transactions with the property and local transportation.  Everything went so smoothly and we received numerous kind words from our guests on how pleasant the team was to work with.    The Accomplished Traveler always felt like they were working in our best interests.  There were several elements of the wedding that because of the distance from where we live (New York City vs. St. Lucia) we had to trust Sheri and the team to hit our goals while coming in at budget.  We were not let down! We never felt the company overstepped as wedding planners and this was contributed to their significant communication and listening. Not only did we love the team - but so did all of our friends and family. The team was a dream come true - and we cannot thank them enough.

Once Sheri and The Accomplished Traveler came on board as our day of coordinator, all my stress completely evaporated. I was amazing not only by her and the team's talent and abilities in terms of sourcing, execution, and helping our vision come to life (which was top top notch) but also her demeanor and incredibly calming presence, which made a HUGE impact on my husband and I. We both agree the smartest and best decision we made through this entire process was hiring Sheri and her team. She was also a huge asset not only for the wedding itself but helping weigh in on everything surrounding it, from the Friday night party to the Sunday brunch. And one of our favorite memories from the whole wedding night was getting back to our hotel room and seeing that Sheri had filled our room with flowers, photos and all the leftover desserts she knew I would want. :) Not to mention, she was one of the FIRST people to reach out with a gift and well wishes on our one year anniversary. Top notch planning because this company is full of top notch people.

Sheri was the most capable day coordinator at my friend's wedding. She kept him calm and handled all the nitty gritty details that a groom doesn't want to have to worry about on the day he's getting married. From transportation to air conditioning to flat shoes and shawls for the ladies at the end of the night, she had it all under control. What's more, you can tell that she loves doing it.
