She made my husband and I feel like models even! And we just had the best time with her! We are both very awkward people and aren't fans of attention on ourselves but she made the whole experience fun and the pictures turned out phenomenally! How personable she is- my husband and I are NOT the photo-type people but we couldn’t believe how Alisa’s warm and happy demeanor put ourselves at ease and allowed us to enjoy every picture! Creative instinct/attention to detail- she made our vision come to life and had so many personalized recommendations for our venue from her experience working there before! Amazing communication- whether it was by text, email or phone call, Alisa always kept us in the loop very early on, throughout the entire planning process and up til the AM of our wedding. on the phone approximately 9 months before our wedding. I wasn't sure what we would talk about given that I didn't really have any specific ideas of what I was looking for...but we ended up speaking for about 1 hour. In that time, I described how we were having trouble finding our ceremony venue since we were planning from out of town. Alisa took the liberty of emailing me an extensive list of Catholic churches and the distance they were from our reception venue (which was already booked). All this before I even officially hired her! I also liked that she didn't place a time limit on her services. Many of the other photographers I spoke to offered packages by the number of hours and that made me nervous....how would I know how many hours it would take for us to get all of the photos we wanted? Otherwise, the experience leading up to the wedding was very easy. Alisa was there for questions when I needed her and was there for suggestions on photo locations given that she was more familiar with our wedding location than I was. The day of the wedding, Alisa and her second shooter Kristin made the photo process as fun and as non-awkward as possible. During both the ceremony and reception, they managed to blend into the crowd while still capturing some amazing photos...I had forgotten they were even there! Once we got our photos back approximately 1 month after the wedding, my husband and I spent about 2 hours going through them all. 6 months later I've yet to make an album because the photos are all so fantastic I'm having a hard time choosing which ones I want! If I had to go back and start all over, I wouldn't hesitate to choose Weddings by Alisa for my wedding photographer again.

I have never seen a photographer work as hard as Alisa, with such a focused dedication to get every single shot we wanted from our wedding, from start to finish. Her flexibility allowed to her accommodate any and all changes in plans on the day of. She cares deeply about customer satisfaction. She’s also smart about coordinating with other vendors and venue staff as the day flies by. She will keep you on track while somehow managing to be everywhere at once. Then there’s her personality which is, in a word, delightful. Your photographer is going to be with you for most of your wedding day so it’s worth choosing someone whose company is enjoyable. We hired a wedding photographer and ended up with a good friend. I hope you will be able to say the same after your big day.

t she does! From the planning process to the day of the wedding, she was always there to answer all of our questions and was such a calming presence on such a busy day. It rained all morning on the day of our wedding, but Alisa reassured me that everything would be fine and her calm and positive attitude put me at ease. Thanks to her expertise and suggestions, we were still able to take amazing pictures outside! Alisa was so fun and energetic to be around on the wedding day and also during our engagement session. She made us feel very comfortable and had us laughing the whole time. We are thrilled with how the photos came out! She was fun, bubbly, goofy while still remaining professional and doing an awesome job capturing every (and I mean EVERY) moment of our wedding. I never felt awkward with her telling us how to pose or to smile or "act like you like each other"! lol The quality and quantity of photos we received were above and beyond my expectations. I loved each and every photo. She really captured key moments for us. She was a saving grace dealing with some of my concerns with our bridal party (getting 18 people to focus is a lot harder than it sounds). I can literally go on for hours about how much I love her. If I could have another wedding just to work with her again I totally would :)

he could sense in the week or so leading up to my wedding that I was basically a ball of stress, and she really did whatever she could to help me relax - even if that meant running little errands like finding and delivering the bouquets. She really went above and beyond for us and even though we don't have all of our wedding pictures yet, the few previews we have seen are amazing and we couldn't be happier!

The week before the wedding Alisa met with me to discuss the last minute details and really got me excited for our big day she was also always available via email. On our wedding day she was on time and felt like part of the wedding party. She is very active on social media so she was already familiar with my bridal party; that made for a very warm and comforting feeling rather than feeling like a stranger. Her second shooter, Tristan, spent the morning with my husband and his family to capture moments I would have otherwise never seen. Alisa played a very special role on my wedding day. Yes, she was my photographer, but she also got me to my ceremony on time. There was a mix-up with the bus company and long story short: she paid for the taxi that got THE ENTIRE bridal party (maids, flower girl, BRIDE) to the wedding on time, she saved our day! As I enjoyed my wedding day Alisa and Tristan made sure that the very long list of “must have photos” were taken care of. They stayed at the reception the entire evening, our DJ quit playing music and our vendor was clearing the tables and Alisa and Tristan were still there with us making sure to capture every last detail. Alisa and Tristan were not intrusive and didn’t make me feel like I was on a photo shoot, they simply captured our wedding and every detail while I enjoyed the day with my husband, family and friends.
