She guided us through creating a meaningful ceremony in the easiest way imaginable. Our ceremony felt personable, romantic, and lighthearted while taking our guests through our love story. There was laughter and tears by all. We were lucky enough to have Bettina join our rehearsal dinner to help us celebrate and practice, and our family and friends fell in love with her as well. Many people told us they had a girl crush on her. She was a rockstar. How amazing she was. The compliments are still rolling in a month later. Every guest she interacted with left with a memorable impression. She manages to make everyone feel unique and celebrated. Bettina truly makes wedding magic. I cannot recommend her highly enough. met Bettina at her apartment in the East Village to discuss our vision for the wedding ceremony. Bettina asked lots of relevant questions about our background, family (mine is Christian, my now husband's is Hindu) as well as our relationship. From the discussion, she was able to give us her initial thoughts on how the ceremony would go. After that, Bettina sent us questions to each answer individually, and then she created a draft of our wedding ceremony based on those answers. The first draft was wonderful! It was very personal, and also had a level of fun - exactly what we were looking for. Bettina allowed us to make any edits we wanted to that document. About a month before the wedding, we met with Bettina again to discuss the ceremony (including processional and recessional) and all aspects of the ceremony. Bettina is truly an expert, and had some additional suggestions that we ended up incorporating (including Hindu and Christian touches). We also handed over our marriage license to Bettina, and she handled all of the legal aspects on the day of, and submitted it to the NYC courts after the wedding. Bettina also provided us with tips on writing our own vows, and reviewed each of our vows individually, prior to the wedding day. On the day of the ceremony, Bettina arrived an hour or so before the ceremony to do a rehearsal. The ceremony itself was truly perfect. Bettina is wonderful at reading the audience, and it able to make the ceremony special, personalized, and also lighthearted. Many of our guests told us that we had the best wedding ceremony they had every seen. We were so thrilled with our very special ceremony. If you are looking for a personalized, nondenominational ceremony - Bettina is the absolute perfect officiant.

There was not a dry eye in the house. We had only known Bettina for a few short months, but guests came up to us after the ceremony saying that it felt that she had known us for years.
