CS Events' bartending service came through for us on our wedding day, and they brought amazing service (the bartender was freaking fantastic!) My now-husband and I had been searchi...
ng for a bartender for a cocktail hour just for our ceremony, which was taking place at a different location from our reception where our catering company was providing the bartender. We only needed the one hour, but everyone we contacted wanted minimum three- to four-hour commitments, even though we were willing to pay full price. I found CS Events by chance while scrolling through potential freelance bartenders, and reached out thinking it was a long-shot. Chris messaged me back almost instantly and we jumped on the phone to chat about cost. He was able to knock the cost down a bit for just one hour, and it ended up being much less than we thought we would have to pay. Chris offered us other services, as well besides just the bartender, but we decided to do the rest ourselves. Our bartender on the day of ended up being outstanding -- she was super friendly and outgoing. Our wedding coordinator also was impressed, saying the bartender (whose name I feel bad about not remembering) came early and actually helped set things up. So grateful to CS Events for coming through for us and being flexible/working with us to get what we needed, and for providing such quality service.

used to do many tasks we paid him for on the day of our wedding (imagine being a bride and him calling you all morning refusing to do his job tasks)
- Generally something you should know: Chris just told us he is "NOT OBLICATED TO PROVIDE A REFUND FOR A CHARGE SET UPON YOU BY ANOTHER VENDOR", meaning he is not responsible for his own mistakes
- Chris lied repeatedly to everyone, couple examples:
--- Chris would not return any voicemails from our officiant, when our officiant finally met him 30 minutes before the ceremony, our OFFICIENT/MINISTER HAD TO REMOVE HIMSELF FROM CHRIS because of his lies
--- Our ceremony vendor, Homeaway Host (details below)
- Chris was extremely unresponsive the week of our wedding. He was late to everything… he was 30 minutes late to our first meeting, cancelled our next meeting, late to our rehearsal which he was not prepared for and didn't really provide value
- For our Welcome Party, Chris dropped off rental equipment 2 hours early (despite clearly telling him it could not be), which we clearly told him rentals could not be dropped off (per our Host who was furious about it)
- Chris did not supply our wedding schedule until the morning of the wedding and HE PUT THE WRONG TIME FOR OUR CEREMONY ON THE SCHEDULE!!!! This caused a lot of confusion with vendors and guests.
- Even though we paid for Chris and an assistant, days before wedding he told us that 99% OF TIME WEDDING GUEST HELP SETUP OUR EVENTS. So we requested and paid for another assistant to help, which we never saw .
- CHRIS COMPLAINED TO THE BRIDE THE ENTIRE MORNING OF OUR WEDDING about doing setting up even though there were clearly drawn instructions and he couldn’t manage to do the setup without calling bride many times. TWO BRIDESMAIDS HAD TO PERSONALLY DRIVE TO VENUE AND INSTRUCT/HELP HIM SETUP FOR HOURS.
- Chris did not setup the chair at the ceremony like agreed at rehearsal, making it very hard to fit down the aisle and not enough room for bridal party to stand
- After our 2nd line, Chris changed the plan from everyone dispersing to go to the reception and Chris started ushering people back into the Ceremony Venue, which we did not agree/plan. This resulted in VENUE TRYING TO CHARGE US $2000 EXTRA for a late fee. Day(s) after our wedding, he contacted the them and CHRIS LIED TO VENUE SAYING WE PLANNED/AGREED TO GO BACK IN, absolutely false, which cause lot of confusion we had to deal with the venue
- Chris was paid to do tear down of events which included recovering any items of the bride and groom. Somehow CHRIS LOST OUR $200 AISLE RUNNER and he refused to pay us for it
- An hour before Reception start, CHRIS REFUSED TO LIGHT CANDLES AT RECEPTIONS (discussed many times with him, were our major/key decoration theme, approved by the venue). Our actual RECEPTION VENUE TOOK IT UPON THEMSELVES TO LIGHT THE CANDLES (not their job), which Chris through a fit about
- CHRIS DID NOT PICKUP RENTAL EQUIPMENT which he said he'd take care of it. Our HOST CHARGED US $250 FOR CHRIS RENTAL LATE PICKUP FEE, CHRIS THEN LIED TO HOST ON AGREED PICKUP TIME (2 days after checkout, why would we ever do that?) THEN HE SENT US A FAKE INVOICE showing later date, when we sent him the real invoice we signed, he did not comment on it.

stened to what we wanted, gave us a great price, and was super flexible in coordinating last-minute details once a hurricane forced us to move everything up 3 hrs (with less than 12 hrs notice). I highly recommend these guys!

could have been more organized. For instance, on the day of, the photographers ended up being the ones to let us know (the bride and groom) when it was time for the dances, when it was time to throw the bouquet, cut the cake, etc. I had to gather my bridesmaids/groomsmen so that we could take a picture at the reception, which was really stressful yelling at a bunch of adults to get in line. During set up, according to my mother, the assistant provided no input on where basic decorations went. Overall, the organization and flow the day of could have been smoother but it eventually came together.
