About this vendor
How can I help you navigate this WONDERFUL (but probably also super stressful) time of planning and capture your vision with wedding photography?
I am a wedding photographer of 16 years. My photography style is very documentary. I love moments and emotion the most. I want you to look back at your images and still FEEL the vibe 20+ years later. My "editing" style is clean, natural, and timeless.
With my experience, I know what to expect at most of the weddings I shoot, and try my best to help my couples breeze through the few hiccups they may not have thought to plan. That's why I started sharing planning advice on my website and social pages. I even send a planning advice guide to all of my couples - sometimes even before they book. I want you to have the best day ever and I want to capture all of it!
Say hi! For real. I want to know all of your wedding tea.

helped us get through some hiccups so smoothly on our special day due to the weather and it all worked out perfectly as we were able to get out and get some beautiful photos each time the rain stopped and the rain stopped just in time so we could still have our ceremony outside! We highly recommend her! Thank you for being such an important part of our day and for capturing everything we wanted and more! 8/16/25

ly as possible. When I fell ill with the stomach flu and had to go to the ER the morning of my wedding, Holly was extremely flexible and adjusted immediately. She was the one that kept everything moving and was a huge advocate for me as I was still queasy through the ceremony and after. She kept the photos going with of all the guests, family members, and bridal party while allowing me breaks to sit and rest. I am beyond impressed with her efficiency, especially since all we had planned the week before had been thrown out the window by my illness! She is also amazing at directing poses and working with the scenery, I usually feel awkward during photoshoots but she helped me and my husband feel comfortable and look great. Holly went above and beyond for me and my new husband, and of course her pictures are stunning! I would recommend Holly a thousand times over!!

of our wedding, she was very accommodating, kept me on schedule, and was not intrusive on any special moments. I am a fan of brightly-lit and using light-play in photographs, which Holly's portfolio demonstrated. The photograph gallery she delivered us was stunning and covered all of the elements of our day. I highly recommend the Holly Johns Photography experience! You will not be disappointed!

rly and double checking in case any other photos needed to be taken before she left. Only downside is that during the ceremony the venue sent the wedding party down too bunched up and there are certain entrances that were not photographically captured (IE - Best Man and Matron of Honor). Although Holly did the best she could in spite of the bunching.
