Joshua was the best since day one! We weren’t really affiliated with a church or knew anyone off hand that could officiate our wedding, so we went in search on The Knot for one. When we found Joshua, after reading his page we knew he was our guy. He was everything exactly as he stated. He stays in contact with you whenever you need him, and went above and beyond on our wedding day. Very professional and down to earth to make not only you but all your guests feel comfortable. We loved him so much he made my fiancé feel so at ease and comfortable and even with unplanned gun shots going off during our ceremony, he still made a laugh about it to everyone and we didn’t even care or notice them anymore. I definitely “1,000” times recommended Joshua for your wedding day. Thank you so much again Joshua you were AWESOME!

Joshua was absolutely incredible! I can't express how thoughtful he was while we were planning our ceremony, he made every step special and true to our vision. He truly cares about the couples he is marrying and you can tell he loves this work. We are so grateful for all the work and thought he put into our ceremony. It was the most perfect ceremony I could have asked for. I could go on and on about how wonderful he is, We will 100% be recommending him to anyone who asks us in the future We absolutely loved him and I know y'all will too!

OK. Joshua literally made our wedding more than we could have ever imagined. He was professional, polite, and was able to totally understand us as a couple. He was even able to put some personal touches into the ceremony that I wouldn't ever think to ask. We were traveling from Ohio for a destination wedding and he was able to do everything via phone which was exactly what we needed. I would HIGHLY recommend him. He made sure our ceremony was perfect and memorable.

Josh was wonderful for both our rehearsal and ceremony. He showed up and showed out. I couldn’t suggest him more! He was on time for everything and even though we had not met him prior to our engagement, you would’ve never known. He did everything I asked for and did it well.

I literally cannot say enough good things about Josh. He agreed to officiate a small "mini-mony" for us on our original day as we postponed our wedding out a year (so we get to do it all again how we originally pictured) We had no rehearsal, just a quick phone call. Hadn't actually been face to face since our original meeting over a year ago. And everything was absolutely flawless. Our family and friends that were here couldn't stop raving about how perfect and fitting the ceremony was. We had a very small backyard ceremony but thanks to Josh it was so special and intimate and felt like it was supposed to be that way the whole time. It was absolutely perfect for the situation. We did a unity braid (if you do that I recommend practicing braiding beforehand) and we didn't go over what he would say or anything I just honestly had complete faith and trust in him, and he 1000% delivered. I cannot recommend him enough and am so thankful he was part of our special day and cannot wait for him to part of it again when we can celebrate with ALL our friends and family. Thank you Josh!!!

When my fiance (now husband) and I we're planning our wedding in NC from NY, we were stuck on trying to find someone to officiate our wedding. I grew up in NC, but didn't have a preacher/officiant in mind that really felt connected to either of us. After a few online searches and reading reviews from multiple sources, I found Josh! We were lucky enough to find that he had our wedding date available so we quickly got on a call with him. Over the phone call my fiance and I kept nodding at one another saying silently "this is our guy!" Josh was super professional over the phone and answered all questions we had, and even answered questions that we didn't know we had! After hearing his voice and getting the through the conversation, we booked with him before we even hung up the phone! From there, Josh took care of everything for us. He sent a copy of our ceremony for us to review and even allowed us to make some personal tweaks to make what he was saying more personal and meaningful to us. He was able to add in some humorous touches as well, which was a hit to everyone in the church! He was available to come to our rehearsal the night before and worked with our coordinator to make sure everything ran smoothly and made sure we were comfortable. You really want someone who knows what they're doing for the most important day of your lives, and I'm glad we left that in Josh's hands! He knocked the ceremony out of the park. He talked clearly, loudly and slowly enough that everyone could follow along. Even when my fiance tried to jump the gun on the "you may now kiss the bride" part, Josh quickly turned it into a joke and had everyone laughing! We got so many complements on how nice our officiant was and how great the ceremony was! We are so thankful to have found Josh!

Josh was perfect and everything we needed for our wedding day. He guided us through our ceremony with no problems, and made it all so smooth. We are so lucky we found him!

My fiancé Matt and I got married on April 27, 2019 in Walnut Cove, NC and we chose the amazing Joshua to be our wedding day officiant--and this was one of the best choices we made for our wedding day! Before our wedding date, Joshua was so easy to work with. I approached him on The Knot and requested pricing and information about his services. He was very quick to respond and get me all the information I needed. I was a little nervous booking someone who at the time did not have any reviews on The Knot. I did mention this to Joshua over emails and he mentioned that he was new to the website, but had been doing weddings for a good while. He explained that he loved doing weddings and that they were something he was passionate about doing. I felt a little better after we emailed back and forth with Joshua, but I did want to do some more research. I had noticed a picture of Joshua as an officiant for another wedding at our venue on instagram. I went ahead and messaged the groom from that photo and he gave a raving review for Joshua. After that I knew I needed to talk with Joshua on the phone and secure him. :) Joshua was very patient with me and my now husband's work schedules. We tried out best to get a time where we could all 3 talk on the phone but eventually I ended up just talking with Joshua one afternoon. He was very sweet and had a calming voice. He seemed very go with the flow but he was also very knowledgable with the how-to of wedding officiating. He was organized and everything was very simple and sounded great! After our phone conversation Joshua sent over a sample ceremony and it was perfect. It was simple and sweet and just what we wanted. I also mentioned that Matt was very shy and would be very nervous. Joshua said he would make sure it was easy and not tense for us and he delivered just that! Joshua attended our rehearsal where he walked through a few parts but did not go over the entire ceremony so we could save that special part for our big day. He was on time and very sweet to our families and bridal party. He was on time to our wedding and made sure Matt was ready and at ease! I remember seeing both Matt and Joshua as I walked down the aisle on our wedding day and I knew everything was going to be great! The ceremony was absolutely perfect, full of sweet words and definitely lots of laughs. Joshua even ended the ceremony with a special surprise that Matt and I will never forget! He was VERY well-spoken and pronounced our names and all his words very nicely and loud enough for all to hear. I was very impressed with how smooth the ceremony went and that was all thanks to Joshua. He worked with Matt and I and made the ceremony specific to us. We wouldn't have changed one moment! It has been a little over a month since we were married and Matt and I have already watched out wedding video with the ceremony part numerous times! Thank you Joshua SO much for making out special day perfect. You truly have a gift and everyone at our wedding commented on how nicely you ran our ceremony and they also loved the sweet words, pacing, and meaning you put into making our ceremony as perfect as it was! We will never be able to thank you enough for such a gift! If you are looking for a wedding officiant, Joshua is the man to get. He is TOP NOTCH and I will continue to recommend him to everyone! He will make your day perfect! :)

Josh was a spectacular officiant. He was easy to collaborate with, and honored all of our wishes / desires for the ceremony. We wanted to keep it brief, but also make sure certain things were still mentioned. Josh was flawless with his words. Couldn't have had anyone better marry Clair and Myself. Would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!

Josh Spencer was an awesome officiant for our wedding! He met with us several weeks beforehand to talk through the ceremony and make sure he was prepared with anything specific we wanted done. The ceremony went perfect, Josh is a great speaker that mixed his personality into the ceremony, for an awesome Christ-led ceremony. We are so happy that we chose Josh as our officiant, anybody would be lucky to have him as part of their big day!
