Weddings by Keith Maddox, Officiant

Keith was recommended to us by another DJ. He was extremely affordable, so we went with him. He did a great job of explaining how to use his system, but it’s a little outdated so we just entered song names manually. Other things we were pleased with included making sure all our ‘must play’ songs were played and that we stayed on time with everything. We didn’t want him to be talking too much on the microphone, but I guess that was unavoidable since he was the one keeping the ball rolling. The only negatives we had was that after we paid the final payment, he ghosted us until the week of the wedding even though we kept reaching out to do a meeting for the day-of, and since he didn’t see the venue space until the week of the wedding, we don’t think he was prepared to play audio in that large of a venue space. We had to ask him to turn it up quite a few times, and no one in the audience could hear any of the speeches during dinner.

Keith personalized every aspect of our ceremony and truly made it our own. He helped us through parts that when we didn't exactly know what we wanted but knew what our vision was. The ceremony planner he gave us to work on was extremely through in how we wanted to plan the ceremony. Keith was super flexible and even let my cousin do the closing prayer, which meant so much to us. Keith was even available to help us through rehearsal and was patient enough to wait until all members of the party were present to start going through the "run through" of the day.

I met with a few DJ's in the area because music was such an important part of my wedding, I knew everything had to be perfect. Keith was the most pleasant, kind, wonderful, easy-going DJ I had ever met! He helped plan the whole evening in advanced, too requests before and during the night, only played the styles of music and specific musicians that my husband and I wanted. Everything was perfect! All of my guests complimented what a great job he did! And he kept me on schedule for the whole night! I don't know what we would have done without him. Absolutely amazing!! Hire Keith if you live in this area! He really is THE BEST!!
