My wife and I scrambled a few weeks before our wedding to find a videographer. When we contacted Weddings by LDF, Ray was very kind and fit us right into his schedule. On the wedding day, he was highly professional and even filmed a few drone shots of the church because he had arrived early. I can't wait to see the final product, and I highly recommend Weddings by LDF to anyone looking for a kind, professional, and affordable videographer for their wedding.

Ray is so incredible!! He is amazing at what he does. So professional and friendly at the same time. We had so much fun working with him on our wedding day. For a long time we weren't sure whether we wanted to use a videographer for our wedding and ended up booking Ray pretty late in our planning process. It was one of the best decisions we made. We had an incredible photographer, but there are some things that just can't be captured in a photo and I am so glad we have this special memory of our wedding day. Ray showed up early on our wedding day and got right to work. He captured everything so naturally, giving occasional prompts but mostly just letting moments happen organically. When we got the finished product back, there were so many moments and details he captured that we didn't even know about. Ray was so easy to work with and even though we had never met in person (he is based in Greensboro and we got married in Gastonia), he got my camera-shy husband out of his shell and completely hamming it up within the first hour! And in the best news, he FAR exceeded the timeline we expected for the final wedding film. We were so excited to get to watch it early. and we will treasure this beautiful work for years to come. If you are considering a wedding videographer, 1) just do it and 2) I cannot recommend Ray enough. Thank you Ray for being a part of our special day!

We are so incredibly grateful for Weddings by LDF! We had no idea what to expect from a videographer, but were absolutely blown away by the kindness, fun, and creativity that Ray’s presence added to our day. It felt like we had known him for years, and his presence, excitement for the day, and kindness toward our families and wedding parties were a huge highlight. Ray was AMAZING! From the moment he arrived at our venue, he was so polite and professional. We immediately noticed him getting to work with his drone while we were with other vendors. So laid back, told us exactly what we needed to do. He's so wonderful, BOOK HIM!

While my husband and I decided to have a micro wedding and planned our wedding in less than two months, we still wanted to ensure our ceremony was documented. About a month out from our wedding, I reached out to Weddings by LDF, and within 48 hours, I had a response from Ray and a phone call scheduled to discuss our wedding. During the call Ray asked a few questions to get an idea about our ceremony, our vision and what we would like to have documented on the day of. He went through timelines and what I should expect, and about a week out, we confirmed the details and time, and on the day of the wedding, he executed everything we discussed. His professionalism and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. He showed up on time and captured each moment we discussed and more. He was attentive not only to my husband and me but also to my friends and family. He was catching things that my photographer didn't see. Hands down, I would recommend Ray for all videography needs. I have not seen the videos yet, but I know they will be amazing!

Having a destination wedding is not for the faint of heart. When it comes to the big day, you want everything to be perfect. Hiring someone you don't know to capture those special moments can be a little nervewracking. If you need a videographer, look no further. I was very impressed with Ray. To start, his prices beat competitors by a few hundred dollars. He was very responsive to emails, arrived early, and made sure that everything went smoothly. He is very astute and made sure that everything was right, even down to the smallest details (background clutter, things out of place). He was also very flexible, as my daughter chose a few alternate locations for pictures. If you need a videographer, he's your man!

This day and time it's really hard to find someone who can be personable and professional without breaking the bank. From the 1st email until the day of the event Ray has been nothing less than professional. Always prompt in responding to my emails with answers to all of my questions. When we finally met in person he was as personable as well as professional. I didn't even realize that he was there filming until the end when we were talking.

Weddings by LDF did an INCREDIBLE job capturing our wedding day! We were initially unsure if we wanted video but I'm so glad we decided to go with and so glad we went with Weddings by LDF. He was incredibly friendly at the wedding, easy to work with, and captured our day so beautifully. Love his style and the quality of the video. Overall, great value and highly recommended!

We had our wedding in June 2023. Weddings by LDF was very good, had a great guy at the wedding, great value, and very satisfactory result. The only issue we had was no communication from him, before nor after the wedding. LDF was a very good deal for $1600 for 8 hours and they travelled a not insignificant distance, a great deal without a doubt. Also, the videographer selected for taking the video by LDF was amazing. He (Jonathan) was awesome and despite the heat was fun and studious in getting all the best shots for the video. I would highly recommend him if you do book with LDF in the Farmville VA area. Another bright spot, the video we got back was very high quality and both my husband and I were happy with it. It was beautiful like many of LDFs example videos and the shot choices, music, cinematography, and voice capture was high quality. Unfortunately, we experienced a lack of communication around preparation and delivery of the video. To elaborate, we did talk to LDF before the wedding to pick out a contract, which we picked a middlingly costly one. There wasn’t any more communication from him to confirm anything in the week or weeks before the wedding. The contract we signed stated that we would get the video and raw footage between 2 to 3 months after the wedding date. We contacted LDF prematurely at 6 weeks post wedding wondering about the status, but no work was done. We waited until the Monday before 3 months had passed and contacted LDF again about its status. He told us that it was in progress and he would have it to us on Friday. We heard nothing on Friday. On the next Monday we reached out again and were again told it would be out later THAT week. And the thing that further annoyed us was his statement that he can take however long he needs “per the contract”. The contract says that he can extend the deadline under “special circumstances “, but the only special circumstances he offered was “I’m busy shooting weddings every weekend”. So be aware that LDF may delay releasing if he is having a busy season. At the end of that week he began the upload and we got the videos the next week. So he did deliver and only a week late, but it left a bad taste in both our mouths. Compounded by the fact that he was posting instagram videos of weddings that occurred after ours... In the end, he left us with a lot of uncertainty around if he would deliver it at all with a flagrant attitude towards his contract or expectations. We would have been amenable to some prior communication stating it would be late, but there was no such communication. In short, has great videographers, makes great videos at a great price, but lacks communication. We would recommend him if you don’t mind being the squeaky wheel.

We only just got married a few days ago, so we haven't got our package yet, but we are looking forward to it! We are writing this review, because you would be foolish not to book this vendor! Ray was very professional on the day, with good attention to detail. We really appreciated his help, insightful advice and calm demeanour in spite of a few wedding mishaps. Can't wait to see his work!

Choosing Ray and WeddingsbyLDF was absolutely the BEST choice we made for our wedding. We booked last minute and Ray was a true professional, going the extra mile for everything we needed. He was communicative in the booking process and incredible on the day of our wedding. On top of that, his work is BEAUTIFUL!! I truly feel like what he captured was a work of art. We absolutely loved working with weddings by LDF. Our videographer was extremely flexible and easy to work with which made the biggest difference in the world. He met our photographer the day of the wedding for the first time and they worked together flawlessly! Nehemiah, LDF’s lead videographer, was an absolute gem at our wedding reception! He was on-time (early in fact!), super professional, and captured every important moment of our celebration. He was incredibly kind and so supportive throughout our big day - he even drove 3.5 hours to our venue! Ray was also very communicative throughout the process leading up to the wedding - we would absolutely recommend this vendor to anyone in the area!

We had our wedding last Friday 9/8/23, where Ray was our videographer along with his helpful assistant, Joe. They were such an amazing team! Joe was nice and professional. Ray was very knowledgeable and you can tell he has perfected his craft! Prior to our wedding, I had not met Ray in-person but as soon as I met him I immediately felt relief that we were in good hands. Ray carried himself very professionally, and had great communication throughout the entire process. I’m excited to see how our video turns out! Overall, I could not recommend Ray and his team enough!

We just received our wedding film today and we are blown away. It exceeded all of our expectations and I couldn’t thank LDF films enough for capturing our special day in the most amazing way. I highly recommend them!

BEST customer service, BEST team to work with & BEST video ever! We are so thankful for the services Weddings by LDF provided us. From the communication leading up to the big day to working with Ray on the wedding day, there is not a negative thing we could say about our experience. He was so responsive and always quick to answer any questions we had for him. On the wedding day he was so friendly, did his thing and made sure he got all that we asked him cover. The NEXT day, he posted a sneak peak video that we watched daily for over a week. His work is simply amazing. A few months later, we got our final video and it was perfect. I will be watching it forever! Such a great business to work with, cannot recommend them enough!

Ray is absolutely amazing. We had several less traditional events on our wedding day, like Chinese wedding games, and he completely understood the assignment. I have raw footage of him ducking under the limbo ribbon to make sure he got both the groom's and the bride's side of the door threshold! He caught all the little moments we blinked and missed. He was never intrusive and had this knack for being in the right place at the right time. When we got our video, it was like being transported back to our wedding day. Ray managed to capture the laughter, the happy tears, the crazy dance-offs, and all the love that filled the room. His work is more than just a video - it's the magic of our special day that we can relive over and over again. If you need a wedding videographer, do yourself a favor and book Ray. My only regret is not paying for the full day package! His work is worth every penny and then some.

Ray did an amazing job on our Pakistani-American wedding! He was very professional, easy to work with, and delivered on high-quality content. We loved all of the footage he produced. A friend had this comment when she saw it. "I'm such a fan of the beat music and the videographer had such a good sense of space, distance and level for each person. I swear I saw a straight beyonce shot as a desi album cover on the baraat day video!" We highly recommend him!

We were hooked on Ray’s style of videography even from the few videos of his we watched! After getting to talk with and get to know him, we knew already that we made the best decision! We are so happy we made the decision to have a videographer and are even happier we chose Weddings by LDF! When it came to budgeting for our wedding, my husband and I originally decided we didn't need a videographer, especially since we already hired a photographer. HOWEVER, time and time again we had family and friends say that they wished they had a video of their wedding and regret not hiring a videographer. After thinking about it for a couple of months, we decided we should move forward with hiring a videographer so our wedding planner recommended Weddings by LDF. And WOW! We are so happy we did! Ray has a great personality and blended so well with our family and friends! He captured moments that I was unaware of and every time I look at the video, I see our wedding day from a new prospective. At this point we have only received our "trailer" which was the perfect length to post on IG and I HIGHLY recommend for other clients to get, as it is a great way to show others a snippet of your wedding. We are anxiously awaiting our full length video and know Ray is going to hit it out of the park!

Weddings by LDF was awesome to work with! Our videographer Josh did an AMAZING job on Saturday!! The groom and groomsmen loved him, as did the bridesmaids and I! He was so great at directing us about what to do and captured as many moments as possible. Every time I saw him throughout the night he was videotaping something and I really appreciate his thoughtfulness in capturing as much footage as possible. I could not be happier with having him as our videographer for the wedding!

Throughout the entire planning process Ray was so easy to communicate and work with. Even when we wanted to add additional hours to our package on short notice Ray was super accommodating. We also cannot thank the on-site shooter, Eric, enough for everything on wedding day. Eric went above and beyond all day long and worked effortlessly with our photographer to capture all the important moments of our day. Words can't describe how thankful I am to have had Ray and his team as one of our vendors for both our Rehearsal and Wedding Day. There were some vendors who really pleasantly surprised me and some who really disappointed. I'm happy to say Ray was the first! It's hard for me to actually describe it, but Ray was such a positive and calming presence to me all day. He really helped me put things into perspective as little things here and there were going wrong and he rolled with the punches so well. He worked so well with our Photographers and we already received our Trailer back (about 2.5 weeks) and it is INCREDIBLE. I can't stop watching it because it just puts a smile on my face and the video is exactly the vibe we were going for! I spoke with and compared over 15 Videographers before finding Ray, after being so impressed from seeing the footage from a friend of a friend's wedding. When I say I was picky, I was PICKY!! Ray was SO responsive to my 100s of emails and questions - fast and thorough. At about 1 month out - you get inundated with emails from vendors. Ray was not one of those who stressed me out and filled up my inbox. We had one quick call to confirm the details close to the wedding date, and that was it! Also, his pricing was super reasonable and we had the opportunity to customize exactly what we wanted. I absolutely do not regret hiring Ray and his team - I'm just so happy with our experience, I could cry happy tears!!

Ray was approachable and determined to give us a beautiful wedding day. Right from the start, he knew exactly what he was doing and how to give us the perfect wedding videos we could ask for. Literally speechless, Ray was amazing throughout the entire process. From contract and pricing, to the wedding day, to the timeliness and ease of video return. My videos are everything I ever dreamed of and exactly how I envisioned them from the first time I saw a wedding video in college. From the moment we reached out to Ray to the moment we gave goodbye hugs at our reception, our experience with Weddings by LDF was truly wonderful. Wong and Josh were with us the entire day and did such a seamless job of capturing every important moment. Ray was professional, reliable, helpful, and flexible. I am very happy to have Ray to record our special day. He arrived early at the venue to set up everything so that no moment would be missed. In addition, our live streaming device lacked a mounting part, and Ray happened to have it and lended it to us happily. This was very helpful, and the live streaming went smoothly as well. John and I got married may 6th at the Mint Museum Uptown and I'm so thrilled with LDF's work!!! Great communication before and during the wedding! Everything that we wanted was captured. We decided to book a videographer somewhat last minute and selected Weddings by LDF due to the multiple positive reviews as well as the prompt communication from Ray, the services included (2 cameras), and his reasonable pricing. We opted for filming our ceremony only, which most vendors did not offer, and were extremely pleased with Ray’s professionalism and service. Our wedding was on a Friday and we had the completed film by Monday. We are so happy with the final version and grateful to Ray for the work he did to capture our most precious moments.

I always knew that I wanted a videographer for my wedding but the decision making process can be so difficult. In order to just make it easier for you, go with Ray! Y'all will not be disappointed! He was so incredibly responsive, easy to communicate with, and the teaser video he sent the next day....y'all. Weddings by LDF was one of the best hires that we made during our wedding process. I was initially skeptical about hiring a videographer, but after seeing the results, I am THRILLED that we made the call. They are affordable and the quality was fantastic...you CAN'T beat it. Ray was professional, friendly and made us feel comfortable throughout the day. Ray also worked so well with our photographer and added an element to our wedding that is unforgettable. He captured moments that we would've never witnessed on our own and I can't thank them enough. Okay...enough typing. I need to get back to watching our video over and over again.

The entire 15 months we were engaged, I watched so many videos and hopped from vendor to vendor website confused on the style, offerings, price point and every little detail you tend to over think when trying to pick the perfect person to capture your day. I was so hesitant to commit to anyone and the closer we got to the date, it didn't seem like we had left room in the budget. With a month left, I just knew it would be a mistake not to book someone. I started looking around again and of course being so close to the date, everyone was booked and a lot of vendors were not as responsive as this frantic bride thinking we had missed our chance. I came across Ray with Weddings by LDF and somehow had missed his page in previous searches. I fell in love with his website and video samples, but I just knew someone this talented would be booked. To my surprise he responded to my email immediately (so refreshing) and was available- I knew it must be meant to be so booked him! My impression of Ray prior to the wedding was professional, extremely responsive, organized, genuinely kind, flexible, and very client serving (reading other vendor's contracts felt like I needed to sacrifice my first born just to earn the right to be represented by them). On the wedding day, Ray was the first vendor on the scene and the moment he walked into the bridal suite, I knew I had booked a true professional. I was blown away by his focus, artistic vision, ability to always seek quality every time he lifted the camera while being completely aware of the schedule and keeping everyone in line. He took charge and worked seamlessly with my photographer and if it wasn't seamless, I would have never know it. He was just one shooter but somehow everywhere. Even at the reception amongst the dancers, music and crowd, if there was a moment - he was right there and on it. Our wedding was in Lexington, SC and Ray came from Greensboro, NC and normally I would be hesitant to book someone that would have to make that drive, but he did everything with an organized ease. I can not stress enough how kind, professional, and talented he is. This is the type of person you want present on your wedding day. I was already pleased with his pricing and packages, but after the wedding day, we feel so honored to have Weddings by LDF create a most cherished film for us and know without a doubt the value we are receiving is unmatched. No need to continue watching countless videos from different videographers or to overthink all the details anymore- you can book Ray for your wedding and know you are in great hands! If he is available, snatch him up!

I CANNOT recommend LDF enough!! We really wanted a videographer for our wedding, but a lot of the options we looked at were way beyond what we could ever afford. Ray was so responsive and friendly from the beginning, gave us all the raw footage, AND had our wedding video done FOUR DAYS after the wedding!!! I couldn't believe it! We got to watch it on our honeymoon and relive the day. I have watched the videos a million times since then. We really enjoyed having them on the wedding day. If you are on the fence, do it! This was my favorite vendor to hire!

I literally can't say enough amazing things about Ray and Joe!!! From the start Ray was communicative and calmed all of my worries as I came to him after having a bad encounter with another videographer. The videographer I had previously hired for my wedding took forever to respond to messages, took several months to send me our contract, and after almost a year and with just a few months prior to our wedding, she flaked and said she accidentally told a friend she would shoot her wedding on the same day! She told me she would have someone else film our wedding which didn't sit right with me. I completely understand companies that have multiple photographers/videographers but she was a single shooter with a small business so I didn't even have access to their portfolio. It was essentially my worst nightmare come true BUT THEN incomes Ray, the amazing owner of Weddings by LDF! He responded so quickly, had several videos in his portfolio and each one was perfection, he was kind and attentive and had so many packages to offer and amazing prices! All in all, what happened was meant to be because I can't imagine having had anyone else film my wedding ❤️ Ray and Joe showed up early, even helped out my photographer with shots since she is a friend of mine and had never shot a wedding before; they were both all around awesome and just amazing to work with. They truly felt like we've been friends for the longest time and my entire wedding party ADORED them both! Our wedding was 12/18/21 and we all STILL talk about Ray and Joe on occasion! And then we received the actual wedding video and there aren't even words to describe how talented Ray and his team is! The video turned out better than I could have possibly imagined and the fact that he also provided me with the raw footage made me burst out in tears. My husband's family has a history of dimentia and all of the women in my family have ended up with Alzheimer's so my worst fear is not having all of those memories so it means the absolute world to me that he even provided those (most videographers won't!). I am forever grateful for Weddings by LDF and could not have asked for a better team to film our magical day, and I will continue to refer them to EVERYONE without hesitation!!! I worked with Ray and his team at my wedding in February 2022, and without hesitation I would recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer!! From my first inquiry, his email communication was extremely fast (sometimes responding within minutes!), clear, and professional. On the day of the wedding, I had so many guests comment on how awesome Ray and his team were. Even more, our wedding video is AMAZING and Ray had it to us in less than a week! A week!! Some couples wait months for their videos, and I still don't understand how Ray accomplished such a quality video in such a short amount of time!! Ray was amazing to work with! Professional, kind, and attentive throughout the planning process. On the wedding day, he was great to provide guidance where needed to get the right shots and half the time I didn't even know where he was because he blended in so well. We got our video back within 8 weeks as promised and it is INCREDIBLE! We were blown away. He captured the whole feel of the wedding so perfectly. So glad we budgeted for videography because this video is priceless!!

Ray was absolutely the best to work with!! Every question, got an answer. Unthought of questions he asked. As the bride that was researching and planning things out while working, I asked a lot of questions at random times. He never not once made me feel he was out of reach and always gave a prompt answer. When the day finally came, he arrived on time and prepared. Ray and his team not only came to my wedding venue early, but they came prepared with several high-quality cameras, and got straight to work. They knew exactly what they were doing! There were several changes in the wedding day schedule, and Ray was extremely flexible with all of the changes. Every time I would email Weddings by LDF, I would receive a response in a few minutes, which helped so much in the planning process and alleviated some wedding stress! When it came to posing and staging, Ray was very knowledgable. If you are getting married or need any videography done, I highly recommend Weddings by LDF!! They are definitely worth the investment. The team is awesome, my husband and I loved having them be a part of our big day!

Ray from Weddings by LDF was the videographer for our wedding on Saturday (10/30/21) and he was the absolute best go work with!!! We had booked him when I found him on The Knot suggestions and fell in love with his prior work. We were so excited with how beautifully his videos came out with other weddings but then… Covid hit and we were forced to postpone our wedding 2 times. Ray was so flexible and understanding and was able to accommodate our new date right away. Fast forward to last weekend and we finally had our dream wedding! Ray was so easy to work with and was very clear with his directions for us. We loved how passionate he was when he got a really good shot or good lighting. We felt totally relaxed with Ray and we’re not the type of couple that is always taking tons of photos or videos of each other! Ray has such a fun personality and adds that extra touch to your wedding day! I originally didn’t want a videographer but when I found him on Instagram that all changed. I cannot wait until our highlight video get delivered I know it will be a good one!!

Ray has been great to work with. From the first phone call it was obvious he truly cared about capturing what was important to us. I cannot recommend Ray and his assistant enough - They were absolutely fantastic! They arrived on time, were incredibly friendly, efficient, flexible and so creative and fun with the shots they got. They also had such a great way of putting us at ease and not interfering with special intimate moments, while still capturing them all. We had some unforeseen medical emergencies that occurred and they were amazing in handling that, ensuring our guests still had a wonderful time and caught all the fun moments we missed while we had to handle those matters. We even received compliments from our family and friends about how nice, sweet and professional they were. They also worked wonderfully with all of my other vendors & were so cooperative with everyone. Not to mention - They had our teaser video done within 24 hours.. INSANELY fast! I didn’t expect that at all. Seriously I could go on and on - Don’t hesitate to book them, I truly can’t recommend them enough. We can’t wait to see our full video!

I had the pleasure of working alongside Ray as the Wedding Photographer at a wedding. I can't stress how important it is for the videographer and the photographer to work and communicate well effectively. Ray, hands down was one of my favorite videographers to work with. He was conscious of where I was and informed me of where he was going next. This helped to make sure I stayed out of his shots, and in turn made sure we got all shots we BOTH needed. Above all else Ray truly cares about his couples and puts them first. Making sure they had some privacy to themselves so they can soak in the moment and truly enjoy one another.
