ut-of-staters, it was important to us to have an officiant who met our needs, especially since our total guest count was less than 5... our officiant could quite make or break our whole day being as the ceremony was the "biggest" piece. After my initial phone call with Lisa, she was hired! Lisa was VERY attentive. She followed my lead and helped finalize our custom ceremony with her experience. Prices were comparable to the market, but you get an extra piece of confidence with Lisa's communication and the custom marriage certificate - truly makes you feel special. If you're looking for a wedding officiant, I highly suggest Lisa!!

ay of, my husband and I didn’t have to worry about anything because we knew Lisa had the timeline and vendors all sorted out. Whatever needed to be done, Lisa handled! She even let me borrow a compression sock during the ceremony because of ankle issues that I have made my heels hurt much more than they should have. She absolutely went above and beyond what I expected, and I am so grateful we hired her!

I am SO glad we hired her, because she took an incredible amount of pressure off of us in these last 2 weeks. I would recommend anyone to consider Lisa to coordinate their wedding - it is SO worth it!!

Lisa prepares this folder for the Bride after the wedding that helps to ensure changing your last name isn't such a struggle. She takes care of sending a copy of the marriage certificate to the probate court so that the newly weds can enjoy their honeymoon without thinking about that stress. I highly recommend Lisa. There are so many options to choose from when it comes to ceremonies. Lisa is so sweet and knows what she is doing when it comes to weddings!

ees to do my whole wedding for $150. We didn't have a large budget, so this was great! I paid the initial deposit which turned out to be $115. She immediately started sending over ceremonies for us to look over. Then, I wanted to pay the rest of what I owed and it was another $115. So, $230 in total. It wasn't what we agreed on, but I didn't want to have a confrontation and have bad feelings before my wedding, so I paid it. Everything seemed to go good after that. The day before my wedding, Lisa emailed and informed me that she had the flu, but she had found someone to fill in for her. I wasn't given any contact info for this new lady, I was just told that she had all of the details of my wedding and would be there. I was seriously worried, but trusted Lisa. No other contact was made until 10 minutes before I was going to walk down the aisle. Yes, TEN MINUTES. And that contact was made by me, in a frantic attempt to let Lisa know that this replacement officiant had not shown up. (I also had ZERO signal to call anyone, so my fingers were crossed that a miracle would happen.) Luckily, my photographer brought her husband, and while I was running around panicking about no one being there to marry us, she informed me that her husband was registered to officiate, but he had never done a wedding. I quickly shelled out cash (that was supposed to go towards our honeymoon) and gave him my phone with the full ceremony on it. He was so nervous, but we had NO other options. He took his place to officiate and I started to walk down the aisle. My grandfather and I were walking slowly to "here comes the bride", and a female that I had never seen runs up, grabs the microphone and acts like nothing ever happened. She performed the while ceremony, but would not walk down to where my groom and I were standing. She stood in her own place that she assumed was okay (Because she wasn't there on time!) And she made us walk to her to recite our vows, in which she didn't even hold the microphone for us so that our guests could hear us. She also didn't know that she had to hold the microphone close to her mouth (again, because she was late) so over half of my ceremony wasn't even heard by my guests. I did voice all of these concerns with Lisa, over email. I also told her I was afraid that the replacement wouldn't file our marriage license if she caught wind that I was giving negative feedback. The only thing Lisa came back with was "She is great at what she does and she will file the license. I will call every day to make sure." She offered no remorse for my wedding day being RUINED. She offered no compensation for VERY POOR planning. She offered NO apologies for the behaviors and lateness of the replacement that SHE vouched for. I DO NOT recommend Lisa Baker as a wedding officiant. Unprofessional, unapologetic, uncaring and her "word" means nothing.

with. My husband and I are not religious so we wanted a somewhat non-traditional ceremony. Lisa gave us a substantial amount of print outs of previous ceremonies she's done for other couples, and we were able to piece together everything we liked from those to create our perfect ceremony. She customized everything exactly how we wanted it. We did not have a wedding planner or director, so she stepped up and did a wonderful job during our rehearsal and the day of our wedding, organizing our families and wedding party, telling them where they needed to be and when. After the wedding, she gave me all the forms I needed to change my name in a convenient packet, which was very helpful. She responded very quickly to emails, which is my preferred method of communication, so that made planning extra easy. We loved working with Lisa. She was one of our easiest and best vendors to work with.

t we wanted too. I love how she automatically knew that my daughter was going to be a huge part of the whole ceremony. She made our day perfect! The words, the direction, the support, were just what we needed. The few days after the wedding you and your husband talk about the ceremony, reception, if you think everybody had fun... One of the things we talked about was how great Lisa was (and my vows were better ;) we wrote our own). We definitely recommend her to all!!!
