Nato is the absolute best. She shot our engagement party and our wedding in Greece and we could not be happier with all of our photos. We had film and digital and they’re all so amazing. I can’t wait for her to shoot our maternity shoot next! Couldn’t recommend her more.

We LOVED having Nato as our photographer at our wedding a few weeks ago. From the moment she stepped into our hotel room for first look photographs, we both felt so at ease and comfortable. Nato is extremely experienced and professional, but she's also super personable and chill, which is exactly the kind of energy you need on such a high-energy, sometimes overstimulating day! Even our parents were raving about her (probably something to do with the fact that Nato also helped direct my parents to our venue and secured no less than 5 boutonnieres for the men in our family, lol -- she was truly our fairy godmother that day). After our wedding, Nato was super fast in delivering a bunch of sneak peek images, which we have not been able to stop admiring. Her portfolio speaks for itself, but it's another thing entirely to finally see yourself in her beautiful images!! We can't wait to receive the rest of the gallery. Wedding planning is full of big decisions and in a market like NYC, there's no shortage of options. But when it comes to photography I truly can't think of going with anyone else. With Nato, you get it all: she's an incredible presence on your wedding day, her work is truly artistic and beautiful, and she's super professional and communicative. We wouldn't change a thing about our experience with Nato, and we can't thank her enough for making our wedding day that much more special.

Nato was incredible from beginning to end. From the year before when we linked on the phone via interview, to the execution of our special day that will go down in history. She captured so many magnetic moments , she definitely has a keen sense of photo journalism you just cannot find in wedding photography. Her vision is the exact antithesis of a stylesless, out-of-date take on wedding imagery. Her work is SO ORIGINAL! The one thing you’ll have a great time doing is going through pictures over and over again weeping like we have. It’s been really difficult to have a finalized group because most of them are jaw dropping. I would highly recommend Nato and her team to anyone, and if you can extend her throughout multiple days that is something we had wished ! We just love her! She’s also a dream to work with through and through

We are coming up on our 6 year anniversary, and every time i think of our photos I am mad. I waited such a long time to write this review, frankly only because Nato felt intimidating. I echo the only other bad review here. she doesn't make it easy to approach her with any concerns or requests for edits. The day of our wedding Nato clearly did not like me and made it easy to tell. She seemed like she didn't want to be there. We had a nor easter on our wedding day, so we naturally didn't get the photos we had hoped for. However, it was really her personality that made the memories bad. Her assistant was nicer to me, but rude to our videographer using a nasty tone and addressing him as "dude" when trying to point out something he was doing wrong (another thing that clearly bothered her was us hiring a videographer she hadn't worked with before). When we got to the outdoor tunnel I wanted to take photos and Nato goes "is this it.." with a disappointed tone. In every single one of our solo couples shots after the first look, my dress is unbuttoned. No one thought to tell me until the photoshoot was done so my dress looks ill fitted the entire time. We do have a handful of nice photos to display, but I do not think our shoot matches the aesthetic sold in her portfolio (save for 3 photos). I was expecting all the amazing photos I see on her website and unfortunately ours wasn't as amazing. Which would be OK if she was just nice and seemed like she wanted to be shooting our wedding AT ALL. If you do not have the perfect vibe she likes/personality then you may also be disappointed. The reason I am choosing to still leave this review six years later is because her professionalism was that bad. I still haven't worked with anyone like her since.

We are so happy with our choice of Weddings by Nato as our wedding photographer. Nato was incredibly fast and communicative throughout the planning process, and we loooove our photos! The whole team has a beautiful style that was perfect to capture our late summer Hamptons Wedding. Miria shot our engagement photos and wedding and was a lovely, calming and approachable person to have with us throughout both. She expertly captured our NYC engagement shoot & vibe and the Hamptons wedding--two very different styles. She was also very chill and easy going with us when we were awkward in front of the camera and blended in on the day of the wedding. Nato sent our film sneak peek within 1 week of the wedding which is amazing and the shots are AWESOME. We can't wait to see the rest!

Working with Nato and Miria has been nothing but amazing so far ! Miria made our engagement shoot so incredibly comfortable(and I’m not one that likes to take a million pictures). We had a couple set backs day of broken dress loss of shoes and she made sure that we were relaxed and laughing about it. Not to mention the pictures came out so good you’d never think there was any sort of hiccups! the pictures came out better than I can ever imagine. She’ll be doing our wedding too and I can not wait. I could not recommend them enough!!!

OMG!! Nato, Miria, Dan and McGuire are absolute superstars. They were so incredible to work with and we feel beyond grateful to have had their talent, professionalism, calm and kind energy (!!) on our wedding day. Not only did the entire team make us feel comfortable and special, but they worked so hard and the creative commitment was inspirational. Truly words cannot express how appreciative we are for each of them. The videos and images are better than we could have ever imagined- the love and energy of our wedding was captured PERFECTLY. We absolutely loved working with Nato and Miria. From my first call with Nato, I felt immediately at ease. Nato completely met me where I was at with my process, and we had a genuinely sweet and informative conversation. I immediately knew it was the right fit. And Miria - oh man. She was the most calming and supportive presence on the day of, and her photos are true art. I cannot recommend more highly!

Photographer goals! Simply put, Nato and her team are amazing. The process started off with a phone call with Nato where we discussed the vision for our surprise wedding. From there, communication was a breeze and day of, we had Christian as our photographer. He was the best! We feel so lucky. Nato then quickly edited all of our photos and we had our gallery back in the blink of an eye. The photos are better than we could have ever dreamed of. This team is beyond talented. We wanted a vintage and candid storyteller photographer, and we are so lucky we found Nato! The entire weekend, we found it so easy and relaxing to work with her and the team. We felt at pace and not rushed into poses, it felt like hanging out with our photographer. Nato and her team are professional and respectful during private moments like the first look. We had the digital and vintage Kodak film...so it was very fun to look through the photos. Looking through our album, we tear up and chuckle, it feels like we are there in the photo shot, reliving that moment and breathing our wedding day air. Nato is absolutely everything I could've asked for in a dream wedding photographer! She truly captured the day effortlessly and understands you as the unique couple that you both are. Even from our beginning engagement photos, she will make you feel completely at ease and direct you so easily to get the perfect shots. I trusted her from beginning to end to understand the vision I was going for in my photos and she was absolutely the easiest person to get along with. She took film photos (which were an absolute treasure and my personal favorite) and had them sent over to me less than a week after my wedding day! 10/10 worth booking Nato all the way! Miria was a phenomenal photographer! As camera shy people, she made my partner and I feel extremely comfortable. She was professional but also laid back and made the experience so fun. I love the aesthetic of all the pictures and am so happy with how they turned out.

Nato shot our wedding at Glynwood Farm about a year ago and did our engagement shoot a couple months before that. She did amazing work – we were stunned at how good her photos made a camera-shy couple look!! :) For our engagement shoot, she came to our apartment and then followed us around Central Park and the surrounding streets - it was a low-key experience where she gave great guidance that resulted in incredible photos! On our wedding day, she and her team meticulously captured every detail from getting ready to the ceremony to dance floor shots during the party. She even kept us calm as thunder started rolling during our couples shoot before the ceremony – and parlayed the rain into great photos of us with umbrellas by the lake! All the photos she took captured the joy we felt on that day and are on loop in a digital photo frame in our living room! Would absolutely recommend Nato to photograph a wedding or any other event!!

Incredibly talented photographer beautifully captured our courthouse wedding on both digital and film. So many beautiful photos. Friendly photographer met us at our hotel and documented the whole way through the Brooklyn Courthouse to family photos outside. Such an important day - so hard to pick our favorite photos

Working with Nato & her team was the best decision we made for our wedding, HANDS DOWN. We had a three day wedding (it was a production!!) and I was nervous about it. But their calm nature and Natos guidance with us - I cant imagine not having them along for the ride. By the end of it they felt like friends we have always known - we laughed, we hugged, and when we partied, we looked around realized they were all there with us capturing the day. Had an absolutely fantastic experience with Weddings by Nato on my wedding day. We were with Nato's associate, Miria, for about 5 hours and she made the most of every minute. Despite freezing cold rain, and a tiny hotel room to get ready in, the photos turned out better than I could have ever expected. To start with, Nato sent a questionnaire months before that covered literally EVERYthing - from the exact family photos we wanted, the couples photos, the vibe we were going for, -- you name it. I felt so prepared going in on the actual day (which is truly a blessing when you are inevitably feeling overwhelmed!). Miria had a great eye and really made me feel calm and joyful while we were walking around Brooklyn taking photos. So many people commented that you could tell how much she cared. All in all - an extremely seamless, detail-oriented, and fun process that allowed my husband and I to relax and enjoy the day. These are not your typical photographers... they are artists. And they will provide you with something truly unique and beautiful that you will cherish forever.

There's a reason that Nato and her team are some of the most sought after wedding photographers in the city, my wife and I's photos turned out nothing short of incredible. Our photographer was super gracious and accommodating to our friends and family's requests (including me annoyingly asking to have pics taken at a local dive bar, haha) -- Highly recommend adding either film or video packages as they are worth every penny as well. If you're on the fence, Nato's portfolio and expertise speaks for itself!

Here's the thing, my wife and I left no stone unturned prior to choosing our wedding photo + video team. It wasn't until our initial call with Nato that we finally felt excited; we knew we found someone that got us. Not only were we drawn to Nato's work (it speaks for itself!), she made us feel comfortable and seamlessly fit into our planning process... I'd be remiss if I didn't share what's (hopefully) now a funny story to highlight her professionalism, kindness, and understanding -- Nato graciously agreed to capture our EARLY morning sunrise vows with photo & video -- The night prior, Nato called, texted, and even emailed us to confirm timing, location, and tracked the incoming storms to time it just right. Unbeknownst to us, we did not have cell service at our welcome party venue and essentially ghosted Nato until 11:30pm the night before!!!! After a flurry of emails, apologies, and reassuring her that "no, we did not call off our wedding!", she arrived the next morning all smiles and we shared a laugh. From that moment, Nato didn't feel like our photographer, she felt like a friend. That same comfort and ease continued into the rest of our wedding day. Nato, Jenny, Miria, and Dan created magic, kept us laughing, and the emotion in our photos/video prove just that. We're so grateful we get to relive those moments of authenticity because of their approach. The emotion is palpable in every. single. one. Everyone from our families, event coordinators, and friends were blown away by their presence and the end results. We wouldn't change a single thing. Thank you will never be enough! To say Nato is the best wedding photographer/videographer out there is the biggest understatement of all time. My wedding photos came out spectacular, despite the pivot to the rain plan because it poured all day. Nato's team was so responsive throughout the whole process, they were like my BEST FRIENDS on site the day of, and made the experience so fun AS AN ADDITION to the best wedding photos I could have possibly imagined. Nato and Miria are absolutely amazing at what they do. I can not get over how incredibly talented they are and how Miria was able to capture such amazing detail and moments throughout our wedding. My best friend hired Nato 5 years ago for her wedding and I knew that when my day came, Nato would be the first person I reached out to. Nato was busy that weekend so we were lucky enough to be able to work with Miria for our wedding. Miria was fantastic - she made us so comfortable with all the family and couple shots and had such creative ideas to capturing fun moments throughout. We also had Miria work with 35mm film and I would HIGHLY recommend doing that too on top of the digital photos.

Nato and Dan were so incredible at the wedding with directing us and making us super comfortable in front of the camera - but what really blew me away was getting our photos back and wondering how the hell they were able to capture everything and more of our day. I was anticipating that our photos would be magical and beautiful based on our engagement photos and Nato’s photos from previous weddings, but the amount of joy, love, and excitement in the variety of photos they were able to capture makes me wonder if they have magical powers. Like seriously - they are the Dumbledores of wedding photography! Looking through the photos made us wonder if Nato and Dan have their own Pensieve to view memories and go back to the perfect time to capture the guest reactions to each speech, candid laughs and tender moments, and so many beautiful photos of both ourselves and our guests that we will cherish forever. We absolutely could not recommend her/her team enough. If you have an INKLING that Weddings by Nato are you people, YOU NEED TO GO FOR IT. So, so special to work with Nato: she is someone who has fully come into her gift behind the lens. She manages to transform casual moments into something artful, elevated, and gorgeous. But somehow, those same photos also capture the joy and feeling of the moment: the place, the vibes, and the people, like a precious memory capsule. How does she do it?! I also wouldn't describe myself as comfortable in front of the camera. But working with Nato was so fun and easy: she has an eye finding and capturing the most beautiful, natural moments as they come. Nato was recommended to us by our wedding photographer to shoot our video. While we didn’t originally plan to have a videographer, we’re happy we ultimately decided to hire one. Nato was professional and responsive. Even though she wasn’t there on the day of our wedding, she sent us the more than capable Dan and Miria, who shot everything beautifully. Within a few months we had our video and we couldn’t be happier. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking to capture quality video of their special day!

It's quite hard to put into words what it is like having Nato be your wedding photographer because she is so much more than just that! Nato not only took the most gorgeous photos, but there is just an undeniable genuine happiness to every photo she captured. Choosing Weddings By Nato was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Nato & her team are truly such talented, amazing people. They were so professional as well as so kind and helpful throughout the day. We could just tell throughout the day that our photos and video were going to come out amazing. I cant recommend using Weddings By Nato enough. In fact, my sisters wedding is in a few months and she also booked them and now I am even more pumped knowing they will be there!!!! On a day that is so stressful due to so much going it’s great to know you can trust / relax when it comes to the photo and video thanks to Weddings by Nato. You can also tell how much Nato cares about her clients. She was so genuinely sweet and communicated with me throughout the process from booking to the wedding to edits. She is a superstar.
