I am a hopeful romantic and was drawn to the Wedding Industry 20 years ago when I realized that I could be a part of weddings every week of every year! Besides being a Wedding Planner I am also a novelist who writes Romantic Comedies-go figure! You'll find me on the preferred vendor lists at some of Nashville's most prominent wedding venues which include: Scarritt Bennett, The Cordelle, Saint Elle, Estelle, Union Station Hotel, The Hermitage Hotel, Fat Bottom Brewery, Allenbrooke Farms and Emerson Hall.

Living 8 hours away, I needed to know I wasn’t alone in the process of helping my sister get married. We found Rachel for day of coordination and she made things a breeze! She helped lock down important information ahead of time, kept the timeline seamless and ensured a perfect day for my sister and all of our attendees. Her team executed the table layouts flawlessly & made setup and take down effortless for the rest of us. Not to mention the great advise that was given from day one. My only regret is that we didn’t hire her sooner. She’s got the experience and know how to make a special day feel even more magical and takes the headache away from planning and presenting a wedding that will be cherished for years to come.

While planning my oldest daughter’s wedding the venue suggested we hire a wedding coordinator. I really didn’t think we needed one but after a phone call to Rachel she had saved me about 2000.00 in the first 10 mins. I knew we couldn’t do it without her. She is full of resources, her knowledge of all things weddings unparalleled and she was fun to work with. She has a sweet spirit while having the knack of getting things done. Little did I know a few months later my youngest daughter would get engaged and we would start the process once again! ( yes, two weddings in one year). The first calls I made was checking available dates with Rachel and our photographer! It was another perfect day, Rachel made sure all our vendors were on the same page and the timeline was smooth as silk. After two weddings in 2023 my best wedding advice is to give Rachel a call! 😁

I can't say enough amazing things about Rachel!! We planned our wedding in 4 months and I literally couldn't have done it without her. We were struggling to find a florist, DJ, and transportation and on our first call, she had so many suggestions and vendors to choose from it was amazing. She also had so many wonderful recommendations for the little details you don't think about, which literally made the day amazing. I dreamed of my wedding my entire life, and she executed all of my dreams. It could not have been more perfect, and it is all because of Rachel. I know it's hard to pick vendors but trust me when I say Rachel is incredible and worth EVERY penny!!!

Rachel is absolutely amazing! She was able to handle every single aspect of our wedding with ease. She helped us find the venue, knew who to talk to in order to get things done, and was instrumental in our big day. She knew who to contact for florals, event spaces, catering, the bar, and so much more. There were even times when she was remindful of me taking a break and taking a look around, which are memories that last a life time. We highly recommend her.

I was so lucky to come across Rachel on the Knot. From our first conversation, I knew she would give us everything we needed. She really went above and beyond. Her experience shined throughout the planning process. She gave incredible vendor recommendations and helped us stay on budget. Although we paid for the part time service, Rachel consistently called/texted just to check in on everything. Each conversation we had, she took all of the stress away! I really trusted her and her team. On the wedding day, Rachel helped us stay on time and created the most beautiful day. It was more than what I could have dreamed of. She was not only a great planner and listener but she advocated for the groom and I when necessary! She knew our goals for the day and she helped us achieve them! Truly you won’t regrets booking her. Rachel is truly one in a million! She helped make my dream wedding come true - between making sure all vendors were in sync with my vision, handling coordination and communication with the venue, talking me off a ledge when I had to make stressful decisions, and ultimately executing a perfectly dreamy day for us! One thing I really appreciated was her deep rolodex of relationships in the wedding/events industry in Nashville. My venue had a very short list of preferred vendors that weren't always within budget and didn't always align with my vision - Rachel worked with me and the venue to introduce new vendors from her network who offered exceptional rates and just as good if not better service/solutions. I saved thousands thanks to her. At the end of the day, you want your wedding planner to be someone who gets you, calms you, and is looking out for your best interest. We hired Rachel for Day-Of Coordination for our daughter's wedding and the only thing I regret is not hiring her for the entire wedding planning. It would have saved my daughter and me a lot of stress and headache (and probably enough money to pay for her services)! She certainly saved us a lot of stress on the Wedding Day. I realized very quickly that Rachel had everything under control and I didn't have to worry about anything but enjoying my beautiful daughter's wedding. Every time I would think of something that needed to be done, or worried about where something had been put, I'd find that Rachel had already taken care of it/found it, so I just stopped worrying! After the event was over, I learned about some things that would have been quite distracting to deal with, had she not been there, but she was, and handled everything with professionalism and efficiency. Rachel is a superb wedding planner. She is pleasant to work with and extremely competent. She secured discounts we couldn't have gotten on our own, and she helped us save money by offering cost-cutting suggestions that didn't noticeably affect the vibe of the wedding. Her contacts and relationships are invaluable. When our transportation company canceled less than 24-hours before the wedding (a problem for a Saturday night wedding in Nashville!), Rachel jumped in, leveraged her contacts, and helped us solve the problem. Most importantly, we were able to be fully present and enjoy the wedding immensely, because Rachel handled all challenges with grace -- before, during, and after the wedding. Rachel is truly the BEST in the business, and I will forever be grateful that I hired her for my wedding day. I was extremely stressed with all the details, pressure, and expectations that come with wedding planning, and I was started to not feel excited about it. She was a lifesaver with all the Covid-19 changes we had to make. Rachel was the absolute best. We actually did a tandem wedding. It was myself, my fiancee, her sister, and my soon to be brother in law. Everyone knows that your wedding day can be stressful, and we knew with doing two weddings at the same time it was going to be an absolute nightmare. Weddings by Rachel knocked it out of the park!!!! Not only was everything beautiful and well prepared for, but Rachel and her assistant Meghan were sincere. They gave us great advice along the way that made the entire process fun and stress-free. I pray I never get married again, BUT if I do. I will be using Weddings By Rachel.
