Rachel's "month of" priority was to give us a stress free day from coordinating details with our daughter and selected vendors to organizing all pre wedding and wedding activities. We found Rachel to be absolutely incredible, professional in demeanor, sweet in spirit, attentive to detail, and focused on making sure our daughter's day was the best ever! So many compliments from family and friends in regards to Rachel's talents and vibrant personality to do what she had been paid to do from beginning to end! Thank you, Rachel … our need for you was only surpassed by all you did to fulfill our expectations and beyond. So grateful our daughter chose you to be her wedding planner, because you are the best!

ll the vendors, but really needed help with timeline and logistics. She met us at the venue, coordinated with our vendors to ensure they had everything they needed, and set up a timeline for the day of. She was especially helpful when we had a last minute change due to weather. I don't know that we could've pulled that off without her and she kept such a positive attitude through it all. Our guests have continued to compliment the flow of the wedding and not feeling like anything dragged on for too long. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rachel to my friends.

less than that. Over the course of a year, I had sent Rachel several emails stating my changes in linens, decor, etc...and she never made the changes. The month of the wedding, many of her notes were incorrect and the changes were not made. She had VERY poor communication and I hardly received any response from her regarding general questions. Her timelines were different with the vendors than with me, which caused a lot of confusion. I sent her photos of “mock” tables that I set up at home, and she still didn’t get it right. She doesn’t listen, she talks over you and she’s extremely over the top. I would not hire her again (and hopefully will never have to!). My wedding was great because of what we made it, but if you’re as detail oriented as me, she’s the wrong fit.

truly enjoy our day. I can't think of one thing that was out of place. She greeted guests, set up and broke down the venue and ceremony, made sure all the vendors were on schedule, and probably a million other things I don't even know about because our day was so seamless. Thank you, Rachel, for being a part of the best day of our lives!

Every conversation with her left me feeling calm and remembering why we were going through this process to begin with. She had advice and recommendations for every question I came across and our wedding day with absolutely perfect. We had the best vendors in our area and Rachel and her assistants worked tirelessly the day of to create a GORGEOUS ceremony and reception site. They even brought in extra decor and we were so pleasantly surprised when we saw the additions. There is not a doubt in my mind that her experience and expertise made our day what it was. She knew little tidbits about our venue that I would not have known nor been able to pass along to our vendors. She handled literally everything the day of the wedding so that I was not disturbed while getting ready. In addition to working the entire day in the heat, she also found the time to officiate our ceremony and it was absolutely perfect. It was nothing about the day I would change and I cannot express our gratitude enough. If you are looking for an officiant or a coordinator, look no further than Weddings By Rachel! She is the best and will make sure everything runs perfectly.

they were over-priced. She was always friendly and happy to help but sometimes took awhile to receive responses from her. And had to remind her several times that I had sent her an email etc. She created our timeline and everything but I felt her methods were very old school and everything was created in Word and was not easy to read the timeline. Just needed some modernization. Unfortunately we did not have Rachel as our 'day of' planner, her husband Michael and Tracey were our 'day of' planners. They worked hard and did their best to keep to the wedding day timeline, but there were a number of little mistakes made including wrong cake on display on cake table, no sandbags to hold down alter thus alter blew over and ruined the flowers and glass balls that were hanging, toasting flutes never made it to sweetheart table, specialty napkins were not handed to bartenders, etc. Overall our wedding was fabulous and we are grateful to Rachel for her help & time spent however, she never followed up with us after the wedding day and I was a bit disappointed with that as well.

f our decisions, so I knew it was must. So first and foremost.... the planning!! This was a destination wedding for us with 80 guests in attendance and events spanning over a four day period. With my daughter living in Nebraska and me in Kansas, coordinating from afar could have been a complete disaster but luckily we found Rachel! My daughter had a connection with her from the very first time they spoke on the phone and she was even more darling in person. She was so accommodating in coordination with our planning visits throughout the year, always making sure we had appointments lined up and making the most of our time. She knows the best of the best when it comes to vendor s, coordinating when we needed but was also so inviting and open to working with new vendors that we brought in. Clearly well respected among her colleagues! Rachel was wonderful to work with in every way...flexible, responsive, timely, creative, the list goes on and on. Using Weddings by Rachel was the best decision we made and resulted in a fabulous and flawless wedding day!

She was always available and calmed me with just hearing her voice through late night chat meetings. She had beautiful invitations specially made for us. She made all my guests feel welcomed and everything was perfectly executed! The price was affordable and included more services than I could imagine. I truly felt like the fourth of July exploded in me with excitement to see how creative she made our day that was beyond my expectations!

Rachel also did the draping in our reception hall and provided a gorgeous sparkly backdrop for behind our sweetheart table that I didn't know I couldn't have lived without. So happy with having used Rachel for our ceremony. She's amazing!!

Her husband Michael had officiated for one of my good friends and did a great job, so we were already planning to talk to them about officiating. Can now highly recommend both Michael and Rachel! Rachel is a wealth of knowledge and is incredibly hard working. After learning our wedding had a theme she wasn't entirely familiar with, she spent time researching the theme to make a wonderful related ceremony for us. She had an answer for every question I asked (and I ask a lot of questions) and had already thought of everything I was concerned with. The vendors she recommended were wonderful as well. I was amazingly calm compared to what I was expecting on my wedding day - and it was due to knowing that I had Rachel taking care of everything. Rachel and Michael went above and beyond to make our wedding amazing!
