The origins of Weddings by Reverend Patti Ruhala go back to 2003, when Patti was asked by a bishop to consider joining as a minister. She accepted, becoming ordained in 2004. Since then, Rev. Patti has performed over 475 ceremonies and has found the experience immensely rewarding. She would love to get to know you, hear all about your love story from dating to the proposal, and help you to realize your wedding vision. Additionally, she takes pride in being flexible and will roll with what happens to make your ceremony a memorable occasion.
Weddings by Reverend Patti Ruhala offers single-faith, multi-faith, and non-religious ceremonies. Rev. Patti can also perform elopements, civil unions, commitment ceremonies, vow renewals, and second weddings. She offers services in customizable packages, including "Just the Basics" with the ceremony essentials and "Short and Sweet" with an enhanced ceremony and a rehearsal.

She was incredibly easy to talk to, very organized, and understood exactly what we were looking for in an officiant. She wrote a beautiful ceremony and catered it to us as much as she possibly could. We were able to read through the draft and choose a specific prayer, poem, or paragraph we wanted read during our ceremony. She was very responsive to questions and concerns, rehearsed the ceremony with organization and ease, and really allowed us to relax and trust her in providing us with our dream ceremony. We had already moved our BIG wedding day to September 26th. After being able to obtain the marriage license from our county clerk's office I called Rev Patti to ask if she would be willing to marry us in a super short, legally binding marriage in front of our garage. She is our officiant for September nuptials as well. She happily agreed, helped me make very short plans, and on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, we were able to be married in front of some of our friends and relatives(who stayed in their vehicles). This is surely an event we won't soon forget. Not to mention that Rev Patti is super sweet, and goes the extra mile.
Looking forward to our longer, more heartfelt, ceremony in front of all our friends and family as we had originally intended this fall.
