and they shared our sneak peak photos with us less than a week after the wedding. Highly recommend!
Ryan and Kate are a great team and such laid back individuals. They truly try to capture beautiful candid moments rather than doing a ton of staging. They also had to work around o...
ur family members who didn’t respect our request to have phones and cameras off. I had a special request to get a photo with the beautiful full blue moon and Ryan discreetly approached me during the reception to ensure that my husband and I snuck outside at the perfect time to capture this! They also checked in before leaving to make sure there wasn’t anything we felt we needed them to stay and capture.Kate does analog photography as well, which really sets this pair apart from others! I highly recommend Weddings by Ryan & Kate, you will not be disappointed!
Ryan and Kate were a pleasure to work with. Having two photographers with their own styles working as a team was a great way to capture our wedding day. We specifically loved the p...
ortrait shots we got during our "first look" which we recommend to anyone who wants a lot of private photo opportunities. We had our favorite picture printed on a metal canvas and it turned out absolutely stunning. Great photos and easy to work with!
Ryan and Kate are the most wonderful pair! They worked with every request we had, even came to our home so we could get some shots with our four legged baby. Highly recommend!
Kate and Ryan are a wonderful and affordable option for any wedding in Pittsburgh! They were so kind and very easy to work with before and on our wedding day. I love that they use ...
a mix of real and digital film. They took beautiful photos during our ceremony without making a sound. Their style of photography is very natural and candid, but our portraits turned out great too. Thanks Kate and Ryan!
Ryan and Kate are the BEST EVER! They were the perfect fit for my daughter's wedding last summer! I was amazed at how many special moments they captured of the day- without us ev...
en realizing they were in the room. Some of the pictures could be in a magazine! They are professional, courteous, personable, and work really well together as a team. When I waited too long to order an album for Christmas, they worked with me to make it happen, and I will be forever grateful for that. I give them my highest recommendation!
Ryan and Kate are AMAZING! We met with them for the first time a year before our wedding and told them we wanted a good mix of portraits and candid photos and they absolutely deliv...
ered! The photos portrayed absolutely every emotion my husband and I felt that day and I will cherish them forever. The thoughtful, caring, and artistic approach they take for each photograph is amazing and so special. From gorgeous portraits, getting ready photos, ceremony photos, and amazing and hilarious reception dancing photos, they absolutely nailed it. Also they can do a gallery wall for you if you just send a picture of the space with a piece of paper! Amazing! I am so so happy I chose Ryan and Kate as our photographers and will forever be grateful for their photos of our big day. Do yourself a favor and hire them because they will make your special day even more special.
Ryan and Kate are INCREDIBLE! I am absolutely in love with our wedding photos (and so is everyone else!). They catered to us so well from our engagement session to our big day, pay...
ing lots of attention to detail and planning in between. We felt so comfortable working with them because they just let our day happen as it should and captured people and events as they were naturally - they didn't try to force us to do anything too posey or unlike our style. I think our photos are so amazing because they showcase our day so honestly! They were so discreet on our wedding day that we really didn't even realize we were being photographed... until Ryan and Kate sent us a link to download literally over 1,000 PERFECT pictures of everything. I can't even imagine having used anyone else to document our day! THANKS RYAN AND KATE :)
Absolutely wonderful photographers! Our engagement and wedding photos are more than beautiful, they captured the emotions of the days and told a story through the pictures. They ar...

We could not speak more highly of Ryan and Kate. We have been using them for family portraits every year for 5 years. The portraits are ALWAYS stunningly beautiful. They are so ...
very talented and sweet with our family (and amazing about capturing our kids, who never want to be still).
Thank you both so much for your wonderful work! We got to look through all of the photos yesterday, and they are fantastic! They captured everything that we wanted, but more import...
antly captured it as how we feel it was experienced - the honesty and candidness of the shots is exactly what we wanted, all in really beautiful compositions. We can't wait to share these photos with our family and friends!
Several of our friends and family have told us that our photos are stunning and beautiful - direct quotes - and we agree!! We couldn't be happier with our photos!
There just aren't enough stars to give these two! Ryan and Kate truly went above and beyond our expectations. From the engagement photo debacle (Phipps Conservatory does not let yo...
u walk through and take photos of yourself with a camera - they only allow you to "rent" their conference room for a pretty hefty fee), we knew we made the right choice in a photographer. They spoke with management for us, and ended up taking our photos at a different location at the same time! Our wedding photos look phenomenal - they even stayed past the time and made sure everything was covered... If you don't use them for your wedding, you are cheating yourself!!
We were having a 'destination Pittsburgh' wedding, so we were having to rely on other reviews to find the perfect photographer to capture our memorable moments. Ryan and Kate did n...
ot disappoint. Their approach to capturing candids as well as the more traditional posed shots is refreshing as they thrive to be creative and different and capture the shots from different perspectives to let our pictures be unique and beautiful. We are very happy with the results of our engagement pictures and anxiously await our wedding pictures in the next few weeks. The investment in Ryan and Kate and their professionalism and creativity is one I would do again and again.
Thank you both for capturing the moments that made our day even more special.
When I was looking for a wedding photographer, I was looking for someone who was non-traditional, someone who would take candid shots throughout the night and not have us stand aro...
und and pose for pictures. When I met with Ryan, I absolutely knew he was the right phtographer for us. The work he showed me in his studio was beautiful! And when he showed us the pictures from our own wedding we were blown away. Ryan captured moments we didn't even realize had been moments! He captured the feelings and emotions of the whole day, from getting ready to heading home after the guests had all gone, and he did it all so subtly. I hadn't even realized he was taking half the photos! He is truly an artist. That being said, if you're looking for someone to direct you and tell you what to do for photos, look elsewhere. If you're looking for someone to capture the moments of the day without your even noticing, then consider Ryan.
