This personable officiant is passionate about making each ceremony he conducts a creative and memorable affair. Sam is a lifelong bookworm and is drawn to people’s unique stories. At the age of 30, Sam took on ministry, serving as a pastor and then as a hospice chaplain. In 2016, he set up Weddings by Sam, with a focus on each couple’s personal love stories. His goal is to officiate a ceremony that truly reflects a couple and that is truly remarkable. Weddings by Sam officiates in Daytona Beach, Orlando, Ormond Beach, and nearby areas. Sam offers wedding service in a range of packages, that all include a consultation to ensure your complete satisfaction. This officiant will do his utmost to make planning your ceremony stress-free and to let you exchange your vows in a fun and light-hearted manner.

ldn’t come up with vows ( ladies don’t be like me lol my stress overtook all the great things like marrying the love of your life) he calmed me down and let me know everything was going to be okay and prayed over me because I needed it. Everything was going wrong the day before lol because why wouldn’t it. He actually used a lot of what I wrote in the worksheet and let me tell you it def was better than my vows LOL but all in all there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. e. This being our expectation, we were blown away by the services that Sam provided for our extremely special day. We had two phone calls with Sam, and it was immediately apparent in the first one that he was the one who had to lead our marriage, no exceptions. On the second call, he got to know us more, and it felt more like an hour of "hanging out" with a friend than discussing details for the most stressful day of your coming months. On the day of the wedding, we, and all our guests, were awestruck with the completely personalized, funny-yet-sweet, bridal-party-comments-included, ceremony that Sam had written up. If there was any vendor we previously under-appreciated and received way more than we deserved, it was because we booked Sam to be our officiant on the best day of our lives. Sam was such a breath of fresh air for our wedding. He met with us to make sure our vows were exactly what we wanted and walked us through the entire process. Everyone told us how amazing he was after the ceremony. I highly recommend him.

I'm still friends with the first couple I married back in 1999. I performed several ceremonies in my pastoral ministry until 2014, when I started Weddings by Sam. The gamechanger was writing a ceremony script that captured each couple's love story. Guests have often commented: "We thought we just had to get through this part to get to the reception". Now, 400+ weddings later, capturing the magic of your Big Day is what I continue to passionate about. Romance rules. Laughing and happy tears do too. :) I officiate ceremonies for couples from all walks of life.
