We hired Susan for a full planning service for our wedding. We had a unique situation thanks to Covid that required us to hire Susan just two months before the wedding to help us. As soon as we hired her, she immediately hit the ground running! Susan was amazing during the planning process! She is very detail oriented and very organized. Other than marrying each other, choosing Susan to be our planner was absolutely the best decision we could have made for our wedding. We got engaged in September 2018, already had our venue, who required us to have a day-of coordinator (but we quickly realized we needed a full planner). We started off by going through our venue’s preferred planner list, narrowed it down to only the planners who had all 5 star reviews, and interviewed all 11 of them. Susan was the only one who actually took notes during our initial phone conversation, followed up with us as she said she would, and upon the second round interview, she was the only one who actually remembered what we talked about the first time. I am a CPA and half the year, I am extremely busy and not very accessible to be planning a wedding. She was able to break up the tasks into very manageable chunks each month so that we were never overwhelmed, even during my busiest work months. She made planning fun and completely stress-free. During the planning process, she got to know our specific vision for our wedding so that she only brought us vendors who fit that vision and were in our price range based on the budget we created together, which she diligently stuck to the entire time. We were originally supposed to get married in June 2020 (haha!) and once COVID hit, we tried to stay optimistic. Susan was there for us through countless phone calls whenever we needed to be talked off the ledge as we went on our emotional rollercoaster of whether or not to postpone. In May, we finally decided to postpone to October. We thought that would be the craziest part of our wedding planning process but in August, due to restrictions from our venue, we ended up having to change our reception venue. We didn’t want to have to move our ceremony site, so Susan worked with us to quickly find another venue very close by that would suit all of our needs and be in our price range. Our original venue provided almost everything, whereas this new venue required us to rent everything (even down to the kitchen). Susan took care of ALL of this for us and planned basically an entire wedding for 130 people from scratch in a matter of weeks (everyone was COVID tested before and no one got COVID at our wedding - don’t worry). Our wedding day was beyond perfect. Everyone in my family kept telling me beforehand that something is going to go wrong the day of (because supposedly that happens at every wedding) and that I should just roll with it. Those weddings just don’t have Susan. The actual day went incredibly smoothly and was so stress-free that we just got to enjoy it and soak up every minute of it because we knew Susan and her team had everything taken care of. She even surprised us with custom cookies of our pups on the day for our dessert table, which was such an incredible and personal touch that she knew we would love. Now, we just have to gush about how amazing of a person Susan is. After planning a wedding with Susan for almost 2 years, we genuinely consider her to be a friend. 5 stars does not nearly do her justice. Not only does she execute, but she makes the wedding planning process so much fun. We love her so much that we wish she could have just been a guest at our wedding. She will definitely be a guest at all future Bloom family events. We could talk about how amazing Susan is forever. We can guarantee picking her will be one of the best decisions you will make during your wedding planning process.

Before my now-husband and I met Susan, we had interviewed several other wedding planners. We first connected over the phone in May 2019 and schedule to meet in person. After our first encounter, it was a done deal. We both had a great feeling about Susan and hired her as our wedding planner. Since then, she has been there to help and guide us along the way. Fast forward to 2020: the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Unfortunately, about two months before our wedding date, we decided to postpone it. Although it broke our hearts to make that decision, it was for the best. To make-up for our big day's anticipation, Susan suggested to elope this year instead. We thought the idea was great so we moved forward with the idea. She took care of *every single detail.* She communicated with all our vendors, moved everything from our original wedding date to the new one in 2021, and promptly started working on the details for our elopement day. On November 15th, 2020 (our original wedding date) my now-husband and I eloped! Everything was absolutely perfect and more stunning than I could ever imagine. I wish I could relive that day again :') The entire process leading up to that day was fun, enjoyable, stress-free, and memorable. Having Susan as our wedding planner was the best decision we made. She is detail-oriented, organized, talented, an amazing listener, and so incredibly sweet. One of the things I appreciate most is her communication skills. Anytime I had a question or concern, I could always count on her to get back to me. We are so proud to say that Susan Dunne planned our beautiful elopement day! Let me just start off by saying that I absolutely could not have planned my wedding without Susan!! She is the BEST! She makes you feel calm and so organized! You could tell right away she loves what she does and she puts 110%!!! I was planning a wedding In LA from New York. With our super busy work schedule it made it very difficult to plan a wedding. My husband and I decided early on in our wedding planning process to hire a wedding planner as we knew we needed help to navigate through the details and logistics of it all. Susan set up an in person meeting soon after our initial call. She took a lot of notes, understood our vision, our concerns and our budget. Finding a Wedding Planner was a little overwhelming as there are so many options and everyones packages are different. We interviewed many planners and really had a connection with Susan and her Luxury package worked for us. She was the best decision we made. She's really sweet, kind, detailed oriented, always on time to all the meetings and has a great ideas for the overall design. Susan was our wedding coordinator for our wedding on August 25th at the Marina Del Rey Marriott. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Susan, and she helped keep us organized and on track through the entire planning process. Her checklists were incredibly helpful to make sure we hadn't missed anything in preparation for the wedding, and we had multiple phone calls with her prior to just to make sure everything was sorted out and ready to go. Susan is an awesome planner. She planned everything as per our request. She listened to our goals and designed a beautiful wedding. It was more than we could have ever imagined. Her taste is very elegant, timeless and just so sophisticated. We loved everything she did. I trusted her to design a wedding, she really knows to transform a space. All our guest love the arrangement , especially the floral decoration, and dinner. Though we are at different time zone (we live in Hong Kong), Susan helped us in a very patient way since we were so may hours ahead. She managed everything in a very organized way and professional manner. Thanks for Susan's help again. You are talented and it was the best investment, being that we are not from Los Angeles. Susan was a dream to work with. She was in charge of a wedding at our Venue (HammerSky) and she made every last detail count. Never lost her cool and was so professional and kind. I cannot recommend her enough.

Hands down, this woman (SUSAN) and her team are amazing. We couldn't be happier to have had her be apart of our wedding day. We used Susan for day of, but she was so much more. She answered any and all questions I had, which was super important since we are out of state. She improvised based off my previous descriptions when things didn’t go according to plan, and was able to keep all other vendors on time. She and her team did an amazing job!

Susan was absolutely AMAZING!! She was so kind and patient and funny! I had no idea to what do on a lot of things and she patiently went over everything and described everything to me! She tried to help me find the best deals for vendors and she made my wedding day so much better!! So my ceremony was supposed to be on the rooftop but since it was raining that day, everything was brought downstairs. It was so hectic that I was getting irritated with everything but Susan kept everything under control! She was calm and made sure everything went smoothly! Had a disagreement with my bilingual MC because the MC wanted to change everything. I got upset with the MC because she changed our grand entrance songs for the wedding party and for my husband and I, but Susan kept everything in control! I told Susan what happened and Susan made sure the MC didn’t change anything else without being rude! ABSOLUTELY LOVE SUSAN!!! Definitely would recommend ! She is the sweetest person ever! I found her a year before my wedding and she stuck with me throughout the whole year! She would keep me on track of things and she would talk to the vendors for me which made my life so much easier!! My wedding was yesterday so, the event is fresh in my head and my eyes are tearing as I write this. From day one of meeting Christina, she made both my wife and I feel at ease, eliminating any concerns we both had. If we did not understand something, or we were confused, Christina would gladly explain her response to make more sense to us with a huge smile on her face. My wife and I knew we made the right choice by hiring Christina Alvarez as a consultant from Weddings By Susan Dunne; we could tell that Christina loves her job and helping couples plan their upcoming wedding day and reducing any concerns, because every couple has concerns prior to their wedding day. Anytime a concern arose, whether on my behalf, or my wife’s, Christina would always provide positive feedback, and give detailed information on that particular concern. On one particular occasion, we were worried about the table and seat set ups, so she emailed us a detailed diagram how everything was going to look. However, what really made us both happy was that fact that Christina said she would set time aside for us based on her availability and re-visit any additional questions we had regarding the table and seat set ups. Christina welcomed both my wife and I with open arms, we would never feel awkward or uneasy asking her questions, or asking her to meet us in person. Susan is amazing!!! She was both the planner and day-of coordinator for our wedding in Hollywood two weeks ago. Before we hired her, in the initial stages of planning I had the laughably misguided notion that I could plan a wedding by myself (no big deal, right?) I quickly realized how implausible this was, so after interviewing countless other planners I finally found the amazing Susan Dunne. Susan was a complete lifesaver. She is efficient, patient, thorough, and detail-oriented. And she never lets even the tiniest of details fall through the cracks. Susan also has impeccable taste, so we could completely trust her to make aesthetic decisions for us if we were not around to do so. There are a million little and not-so-little ways that Susan was essential, but I can sum them all up by saying that on the day of our wedding, my now-husband and I could sit back and actually enjoy ourselves and our guests, because we knew that Susan had everything else covered. We would have been completely lost without Susan. Thankfully my fiance (at the time) found her because we were completely put off by the cost of most LA based wedding planners that were charging a minimum of 20k. For the amount we paid Susan, I feel like the service far outweighed the cost. Our venue was a friends' estate so everything needed to be brought in from the ground up. Susan presented us with 2-3 vendors to choose from that were in our price rage which made the process fairly easy. Susan showed up to all of the important appointments: cake tasting, florist, catering tasting, rentals, and even my dress fitting. She is always punctual, prepared, and available if there is something that needs to be discussed right away. The best of all though is how seamless my wedding day went.....I really got to enjoy myself because Susan and her team were on top of every single detail. If you are getting married and want to enjoy planning your wedding with the least amount of stress please give Susan a call, I really cannot recommend her enough.
