She’s spent years of training in her field, and has over 15 years experience in the wedding industry, in Trinidad, and more recently in South Florida and Jamaica!
In 2017, she won Best Tasting Cake in The World at the Cake Designers World Championships in a milan, Italy where she competed against 19 countries from around the world! In 2018, she coveted the Caribbean Cake and Pastry Artist of the Year in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Highly recommended by her peers, she’s been the recipient of WedBiz awards for the last 4 years, and also received Couples Choice Awards from Wedding Wire

that met both my needs and standards for high-end pastries and treats. To say I have a sweet tooth is an understatement. A running theme for my wedding was Eat Cake for Breakfast. That said, to say I’m picky is also an understatement. Because I love sweets so much (particularly cakes, pies, cookies, and pastries), I refuse to eat even mediocre ones when I know a world of deliciousness exists. My entire wedding was catered with savory Jamaican food (the best food on the planet, IMO) but I wanted my sweets and pastries to have a decidedly European flair, taste, and texture - alongside an American sensibility - while still combining local flavors of banana, coconut, passion fruit, and mango. Oh, and I wanted chocolate chip cookies for the reception. Lots of chocolate chip cookies. It was a tall order that drew stares from others. But not Michelle. Michelle didn’t flinch. So one more understatement: Michelle delivered. The cake: gorgeous! All of the reception treats (at least 4 different types of minis, including this incredibly special chocolate coconut concoction): next level! The groom’s cake (chocolate on chocolate): divine. The chocolate chip cookies: devoured. No review of what Michelle delivered for my wedding would be complete with acknowledging the extreme time constraints. As I said earlier, I wouldn’t settle. So I was painfully close to not having a cake or a selection of desserts at the wedding because nothing I tasted before Treatz hit the mark. Thankfully, I was referred to her at quite literally the last minute but in just the nick of time. One more minute and it would have been too late. We had the loveliest tasting in her kitchen and she couldn’t have been warmer, more welcoming, and truly hospitable. Thank you Michelle. Meeting and working with you was a highlight of the weekend.💕

solutely in awe when I saw it. The pricing was fair and aligned with the other quotes we received, which made working with her even better. We did have some challenges connecting initially, but Michelle was incredibly apologetic and handled everything with such respect and professionalism. In the end, everything came together flawlessly. Mich, you may not know this, but since you opened your doors.. all my birthday cakes from sheet cakes to specialty cakes came from your bakery. I can go on to add, not only my cakes but for every occasion (someone's Birthday, Anniversaries, Valentine's Day.. etc) in my household cakes were ordered from her Bakery. All her cakes and pastries were executed perfectly!!
When I was planning my wedding.. my mom asked me who was making your wedding cake.. my replied, " The one and only Michelle Sohan." I did not obtain any other quotes just hers!!! This is followed by she doing all my daughter's birthday cake form 1 year old to 4 years old.

As a backup we ordered regular cake from Publix as everyone told us don’t waste money, no one will eat it. Well they were all wrong… my guests ate every single piece. In our culture the smaller cake is saved and is eaten the following year. Well you guessed it, we have no cake for next year- our guests ate it all. We will have to buy another small cake at some time before the end of the year, so we can keep up our tradition.
