Weddings Con Amore

so I took on planning pretty much everything myself — at a museum venue, no less, which is definitely not the easiest to plan or for someone to coordinate. As the final weeks approached, I was… let’s just say, a little cuckoo. 😂 From the very beginning, Laoise was incredibly supportive, responsive, and open to all of my (very detailed and sometimes wildly pedantic) questions. Then at the 6-week mark, she came in like an absolute champ with an organized intake form that captured every detail I had planned, helping with timeline & layout. She caught logistical things we hadn’t thought of, like moving florals post ceremony etc. I was immensely more relaxed at that point knowing that we had her. On the day of, she and her assistant went above and beyond — helping with our personal decor, helping me through nature trails in my dress for our first look and photos, and managing everything with total professionalism. She had her headset on, game face, all the things— making sure the timeline stayed on track and everything flowed. Our photographer even commented that it was one of the smoothest wedding days he’s ever experienced. He appreciated how Laoise had notes prepared for family portraits, including who could be dismissed at certain points. Super helpful since we had a lot of family portrait combos. We didn’t rehearse since our family members were coming out of town with young children, but she was able to give a quick rundown right before the ceremony. She even discreetly checked in with me during a lengthy speech about timing — ready to step in if needed. In hindsight, I should’ve warned her that speaker tends to go long, but even with the longer-than-expected speech we still felt we had plenty of time to celebrate and mingle since she incorporated buffer time. I am so incredibly grateful for her! She brought calm, structure, and execution to a day that could have easily felt overwhelming. If you’re looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and truly has your back, I cannot recommend her highly enough. Our day was completely seamless because of her and our family and friends were able to just completely enjoy the day. She also had the great idea of leaving patio heaters out of the reception area and in the cocktail hour area until it actually got cooler/windier later in evening, which let us get nice photos of all the details while still ensuring guest comfort later on. 10/10, highly recommend.
