Weddings in New England

Paul performed our wedding ceremony in April 2021. We used a local facebook group to look for personal recommendations for a justice of the peace, and came across a few people to consider. We contacted them to see who would be the right fit, and Paul was by far the most personable JOP we contacted. He was very easy to talk to and could tell he had a good sense of humor, and we knew that he would be perfect to officiate our wedding. His options, directions and communication with us to put together our ceremony was great. We were looking for a simple, yet elegant ceremony with a touch of humor, and he delivered perfectly. We had small, intimate wedding with only 12 people in attendance, including our photographer and Paul. He interacted with all of our guests professionally and friendly, and seemed to genuinely care that our wedding turned out perfectly. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a personal touch to their wedding ceremony.

My husband and I work with both Paul, for ceremony JP, and Liz, for first dance. They are both absolutely amazing and I highly recommend them. From the minute we did our consult with Paul we knew we wanted him to perform our ceremony. He is a lot of fun and knows his stuff. He helped us understand the process from the get go and is extremely communicative. He kept us up to speed on what to expect from day one. He worked with us to create the ceremony we wanted, and it was so beautiful. The love story he put together with the information my husband and I provided (separately!) was my favorite part. It was so fun to hear what each other had written for the first time that day. Paul is also knowledgeable about marriage licences and can help with questions on that front - he even mailed our licence the day after our wedding (Sunday), and our certificate was waiting for us already when we got back from our honeymoon (we did pay in advance for the copies). I would highly recommend him as an officiant - your experience will be amazing and your ceremony will be beautiful. Liz choreographed our first dance. We sent her our music in advanced and she had our choreography ready to go the day we met. She spent about 2 1/2 hours with us in studio teaching us the dance and then practicing the full thing. She took a couple of videos which she provided to us after so we could practice at home up until the big day. Liz keeps the choreography simple, but elegant. We were not overwhelmed by moves or specific dialect/names for moves. We were able to quickly pick up the dance and spend time really learning it and making it our own. It looks amazing on film/play back. Also one of my favorite memories of the night - seeing the joy and love on our faces as we danced together. So much better than the awkward shuffle. We have Liz to thank for making that beautiful moment for us.

Paul made every single part of our wedding perfect. From rehearsal to ceremony to reception he conducted himself with the utmost professionalism, in addition to being an all around fantastic human being. The way he told our love story during our ceremony brought almost everyone to tears! He made the ceremony not only about my wife and I, but about the audience as well. They learned about us, and about love. He knew our story so well that everyone assumed he was our family! Paul is soooo personable and you can see he loves to meet new people. He is the ideal wedding mingler! He even partied with us both nights! He's truly one of the nicest guys around and we couldn't be more pleased with his services. Paul was absolutely fantastic! When our family friend couldn't marry us we were scrambling to find someone, and we knew as soon as we talked to Paul that he was the one. He spent time to get to know us, and he was very professional. He personalized our ceremony and shared our story, and it made the experience so much more special. He really captured us as a couple. Our guests all mentioned how beautiful and personal our ceremony was!
