He made sure to communicate with me immediately after Stephen broke the news to us that he couldn't DJ our wedding anymore. Jose made the transition seamless and had all of the notes and details we had gone over with Stephen. Jose even went above and beyond and showed up at our rehearsal so we could practice walking down the aisle to the songs we chose and practice our dance on the dancefloor. He was amazing to work with!

The first time we met Stephen he brought with him a cool and go with the flow vibe that we knew we wanted at our wedding! And his music....he has TONS! He knows his stuff and took so much time getting to know our style and our music and dislikes/likes. Very thorough! I should mention we also had a very small wedding, under 30 people. I think that is harder at times to DJ/MC, its tough to keep such a small crowd going and on the dancefloor all night, AND HE DELIVERED! He made our big day so special and so much fun, thank you Stephen for everything!

ive me advice when searching for other DJs even if I didn’t select him. Needless to say, I did and was very happy I did.
We met him multiple times before our big day to decide on events and select genres. He was so helpful with each step we knew the day would be perfect. Then came the day of the wedding. It started raining just before our ceremony and Stephens had to improvise. He was quick on his feet to move equipment for both the ceremony and reception. When it looked like no one would dance because of the rain, he had the people going! It was awesome. Thank you so much Stephen for helping make our day so special.
Stephen was absolutely amazing! We could not have asked for any better! Right from the first call, we knew he understood the vibe my husband and I were looking for at our reception...
. The moment we booked, we didn't have any stress or worry when it came to anything DJ related. He mixed in all the songs we were wanting. He did a great job of adapting and keeping the party flowing when we were deviating from the schedule. There were no hitches on the day, or if there were I didn't know, and our guests definitely didn't!
We got so many compliments on how fun the wedding was. People were dancing all night long! And Stephen was so easy to work with. We even had one of our guests ask if he was a friend of ours because of how personable he was! This being a destination wedding, my husband and I weren't able to find time to meet him in person prior to the wedding. But that didn't make a difference because he absolutely nailed what we were looking for! Not to mention him going above and beyond sending me some candid photos and videos from the night! It was a great surprise!
Highly highly recommend! You'll be in great hands and your event will go so smooth!

itement was contagious, and he kept our guest on the dance floor all night! We also booked our photo booth through him, which was a big hit with our guest! So much fun! When we started planning our wedding, we were told the 3 most important vendors were our photographer, officiant, and DJ. I am so thankful we found Stephen- he was definitely the best DJ for us!

he owns all his own songs (didnt know so many djs stream relying on wifi or cell service) not a problem with Stephen. we ended up needing him for an additional hr from our initial contract and he kept it going perfectly. I could not have had a better experience for our wedding. Cheers!!

onate about providing us with the best experience! He made sure to play our favorites (pre-planned set list) and knew to play more than one genre to keep all age groups on the dance floor! He understands the importance of music which is why I fell in love with my husband in the first place! Not to forget he has a couple additional post-wedding surprises which was the icing on the cake! We highly recommend him and will definitely use him again for future events.

ur wedding, so many of our guests told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to--specifically referencing our awesome DJ. Stephen is professional, organized and flexible. He essentially ran the entire show by not only setting the vibes but he also made sure that everyone knew where to be when. His years of experience are so evident--he made sure our entire day flowed with ease. He made our entire wedding feel so easy and fun--I can't say enough great things about him. He was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding.
He was the best dj! He kept the crowd on the dance floor and kept good vibes all around! He so sweet and goes out of his way to work with you!

things go smoothly. The music was spot on during the cocktail hour and dinner and when the dancing began, he brought the energy up and everybody danced all night.
Stephen even took some nice pictures and sent them to us after our wedding.

f it was their wedding.
His playlists were extensive (seemed to have everything we could have asked for) and knew how to keep the event balanced; yet was not overly loud/intrusive.
All in all, I couldn't be happier with selecting Stephen for our special event!
Working with Stephen was truly the best! He was attentive to all of our requests, truly listened, gave us great advice about the flow of our big night and kept our reception party...
rockin' all night long! He was incredibly engaging, interactive with our guests and was completely on point with all our big moments. He led us into toasts, special dances and knew just when to tone the mood down and then bring it right back up. Stephen is incredibly professional, has top notch equipment and a vast knowledge of music. Several of our guests commented on how they could tell just how much Stephen loves his job! I would recommend Stephen again and again. Five stars is hardly enough to show how much we appreciated him.
My biggest wedding planning worry was that I wouldn’t hire the right DJ. Stephen put me at ease when we talked about what we were looking for. I needed a DJ who could not only MC t...
he evening, as I didn’t have a wedding planner, but who could keep people on the dance floor. We wanted an EPIC dance party. He did both, flawlessly.
I highly recommend his service and that when you do hire him, only give him your very most important “must plays” and let him run with it. Every song day was better than the last, we danced nearly every second of our reception. Additionally, Stephen took some fantastic candid photos AND engaged with our guests. So many of my guests have contacted me in the last few days to tell me “that DJ was on point!!!!!” I could not be happier.
Stephen was the DJ for our central Oregon wedding. I look back fondly at all the fun that was had and a big part of it was the music that was played. People were dancing that I nev...
er thought would! He provided all his own equipment. Played all the music we had requested in addition to his own great selection that got everyone moving. He has a very kind and upbeat disposition that makes him a great addition to any party. He also took some beautiful photos during the ceremony perhaps better then the photographer we had hired! I still have people tell me it was one of the most fun weddings they have been to. To me that is a success to have all your loved ones share your special day and have a good time! Stephen was a big part of making that happen!
Stephen was an absolute professional for my wedding last year. He met with me on multiple occasions to ascertain my desires regarding my reception needs. He worked hand in hand wit...
h my musical accompaniment to facilitate the right acoustic sound while considering microphones and speakers. I am extremely grateful that he played the music my husband and I wanted to share with our guests, yet showed a desire for the music genre our friends requested. Stephen not only rocked our reception, but took photos, he gave us heart and soul while providing a service that I doubt anyone else could have. Thank you DJ Ujjayi for making our day more special than we could have ever asked for.
Best,
Jennifer
Fantastic DJ! Stephen did our wedding out in Hood River and was great! Came all the way out, set up, and put on a great party. I would recommend him to anyone with ANY event coming...
