We booked Ryan pretty last minute, and despite that, he went completely above and beyond for us. From phone calls to Zoom meetings, he took the time to truly get to know us as a couple and understand exactly what we envisioned for our ceremony.
One of our absolute favorite parts was how interactive he made the ceremony for our guests. It wasn't just something everyone watched, it was something they got to be a part of, and we've had so many people tell us how much they loved that. Ryan also incorporated so many meaningful personal touches that made the ceremony feel uniquely ours.
Our favorite detail was when he had my husband and me answer five questions separately before the wedding. During the ceremony, he revealed our answers, and it ended up being one of the sweetest, funniest, and most memorable moments of the entire day. It was such a thoughtful surprise and something we'll remember forever.
Another thing that really stood out to me was that during one of our meetings, Ryan asked what our wedding colors were and what color suit he should wear so he would match our aesthetic. It may seem like a small detail, but it speaks volumes about how much he cares. He looked amazing and fit in perfectly with our wedding.
We've received countless compliments about our ceremony, and so much of that is because of Ryan. He created the perfect balance of heartfelt, personal, and lighthearted moments. We truly couldn't have asked for a better officiant, and we are so grateful he was such an important part of our wedding day. We would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!

Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how unique and personal our ceremony was. Ryan’s delivery, presence, and confidence was truly one of a kind.
From start to finish, every interaction with him was amazing. He was always so kind, thoughtful, and quick to respond. When we first spoke, he gave us a preview of the ceremony script, and it literally brought both me and my fiancé (now husband) to tears. He made it feel so real, so emotional—like we were already standing there in that moment.
Not to mention, he took a huge weight off our shoulders by filing our marriage license for us, so we could head straight to our honeymoon without any extra stress.

We asked Valerie to include a custom intro in our ceremony, and she went above and beyond—sending us a thoughtful draft ahead of time and delivering it with such beautiful, heartfelt words. The entire flow of the ceremony was more than we could’ve imagined.
We also loved the concept of the ceremony questionnaire, especially since we chose to do private vows. It helped her tell our story in such a meaningful and personal way. Months prior, she gave us tips for writing our vows. She maintained communication through text and email. She even asked us what we’d like her to wear so her outfit could coordinate with our theme/venue. Right before the ceremony, she saw that I was busy and even asked if I needed help. Her kindness is genuine and we are so grateful she was part of our special day. We felt at ease during the ceremony because we knew exactly what to expect. We were able to fully focus on each other. guest told us that our wedding was the best ceremony they had ever seen. We had been to a lot of weddings with "generic" ceremonies, and we wanted to emphasize having a personalized ceremony that represented us. We got to meet with Valerie twice before our wedding to discuss our wants and to really customize her script. Her format makes it so easy on the couple to end up with a special, personal ceremony. My husband was also concerned about public speaking and Valerie made it so all we had to say were the "legally obligated" pieces while still managing to keep our voices and story front and center. We reached out to Valerie based on her reviews, and from our first call with her we knew instantly that we wanted a professional to offiate our ceremony and we wanted it to be her. Weddings are expensive, so at the beginning we thought having someone we know perform the ceremony could save us money, but we later realized that the cost of an officiant is very small in the grand scheme of a wedding budget, and the script Valerie walked us through as well as her charisma and confidence left us in no doubt that we wanted her to be the one to marry us. uestions we had, and he was very respectful of the format that we wanted. (We did not want a religious ceremony but we wanted a straight forward ceremony that was touching and personal). On top of making everyone cry because of how well he delivered what we wanted for our wedding, he was very sincere and remembered everything that we wanted when we previously spoke to him. The best part about Ryan was that he was very thorough with our wishes and gave great suggestions when we were uncertain of how to proceed. He asked us if we approved of certain quotations about love, if we had a preference of what he should wear, how he should address us after we said our “I do’s.” Nothing was left unprepared. He rehearsed with us and made sure we were happy with the how the wedding ceremony was laid out. Because we were so busy, one good example of his suggestions was providing a personal questionnaire where we hear each others responses for the first time during the ceremony. Everyone was crying because it was so touching. When we were trying to find a photographer, he was great at giving us many suggestions and references. The last great thing he did for us was give us suggestions on where to file for our marriage certificate and helped us file it after we had our witnesses sign it after the ceremony. I can’t say enough great things about Ryan, he will definitely make your wedding very memorable and magical. Choosing Ryan to be our officiant was the best decision we made throughout the course of the wedding planning process. Thank you for everything, Ryan!! You truly made our wedding ceremony one of the greatest memories we will ever have!

On the day of the wedding he arrived early, looking sharp (even letting my husband Cory pick out his tie color out of many options he came prepared with), and immediately put us both at ease with his kind demeanor and friendly smile. After the ceremony (which was flawless) nearly every guest approached us to tell us that our ceremony was the best they’ve ever seen and that his unique questionnaire format made them positively reflect on their own relationships and marriages. g right away. From our first introduction phone call where we customized our ceremony, versus, vows, and timeline of the ceremony, it all felt right. We got so excited to go over the special things that we wanted for our big day. We had a 22 month engagement, so a few months prior to the wedding, we had another phone call to discuss what we decided on and solidify the ceremony order of events. My husband and I were smiling ear to ear and tears were filling our eyes practicing our vows and discussing details with Ryan. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early and double checked some details before we got ceremony started. I didn't have to worry about a thing due to his calm nature and encouragement on the big day. Funny enough, there was a miscommunication between my photographer, wedding party, and me on who had my vow book. I though the photographer brought both the vow books to my husband, but mine was left in the wedding suite. Ryan, without even flinching carried onto the next part of our ceremony while my sister rain back to the wedding suite to grab my vow book. This made my husband say his vows first and me be a blubbering mess trying to read my vows after him. But it all turned out so beautiful and perfect due to Ryan's professionalism and willingness to pivot. We received so many compliments from my guests after the ceremony on what an amazing job he did and how they've never met an officiant who was so connected with the couple. expectations. We chose not to have a friend officiate solely because I knew I wanted someone who KNEW what they were doing and could run a ceremony from start to finish - enter Ryan!
The second I chatted with Ryan on the phone, I knew he was the real deal. From beginning to end, he asked all the right questions, and made sure to hear me out on what was important to me (unplugged ceremony, please stand for bride, please sit for bride, etc). No detail was too big or too small for him.
Needless to say, he knocked it out of the park on wedding day! He looked killer and he performed killer! Just like he told us to expect, our guests were left ooing and ahhing over him and asking “who the heck is that guy!?”
Ryan - thank you for making our wedding day all the more special. You were worth every penny!

wanted someone that fit our loving, light-hearted spirit but could also help us make it unique and memorable for ourselves and our guests. When I inquired and Ryan sent a video message to me, I watched it over and over again. My husband and I were very particular on our officiant’s voice and how they spoke. Ryan spoke so beautifully and had come up with a few example scripts in the video message he had sent over. We loved it! We booked him immediately, at a month out from our wedding. I didn’t know what to expect and what all I would need to provide during our one and only Zoom meeting. I was looking up ceremony scripts left and right and couldn’t find anything that caught my eye. During our call, Ryan read through his scripts and gave some ideas on how we could make it interactive, unique and memorable for everyone. I can’t even put into words how absolutely BEAUTIFUL our ceremony was. We and so many of our guests are still talking about how wonderful he did. Truly outdid himself and we couldn’t have imagined our day without him. It’s really in the details and all the small things that Ryan did to make it so special for us - dressed within our color palette for cohesive ceremony photos, stepped aside before asking my husband to kiss me, and filing our marriage license for us. Ryan went above and beyond to tell our love story in the most beautiful way. We couldn’t recommend him and his wife enough!!
