I recently got married in April 2023. Amy Brewer, which is now my mother in law, helped me plan our big day! She helped me stay on top of deadlines and any other “to-dos” of wedding planning but made it an absolute breeze! I truly could not have asked for a better person to coordinate my wedding day than Taylor! From a perfectly seamless timeline for the day to handling any changes that needed to be made without missing a step, she was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. In the weeks leading up to the big day, she perfectly handled everything big and small. I truly felt like I could enjoy every moment of the day knowing I was in good hands with Taylor.

Amy from Weddings Taylor Made was a blessing to have for my wedding! I already knew her, as she had been my brother and SIL's wedding planner for their wedding back in 2020. Amy has a super fun personality, but is extremely professional. I was not the type of person that had my wedding planned since I was a little girl -- I needed all the guidance I could get! My husband and I got married in Baton Rouge, but neither of us live there so we needed help with vendor recommendations. Amy was able to provide multiple options, and especially within budget-range. She was also helpful keeping me on track of when vendors needed to be booked, and remembering all the small details (i.e. knew we were having an exit, but "how are you exiting? Vehicle? Props?" etc.) She had it ALL COVERED. You hire a wedding planner because it's what they do all the time. I would have no clue how to manage it all. Amy remembers all the small things that you wouldn't even *think* to think about for a wedding. The wedding day itself ran so smoothly. They aren't kidding when they say it passes quickly. Amy made sure we were meeting our timeline: cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter throw, etc. If there was a problem - I never heard about it and never would've known as she resolved it quickly. Everything was perfect and exactly how I would've wanted it. Having Amy around meant I didn't have to worry about people coming to me, my husband, or my mom for questions. We were able to actually be involved in our reception and have a good time! Kudos to Amy - I am extremely grateful for all of her kind words and guidance throughout this wonderful (and sometimes stressful!) experience. I would HIGHLY recommend her!

Amy and her assistant did a great job the day and night of my daughter's wedding!!! My daughter did most of the coordination with Amy leading up to the wedding, but I experienced a relaxing wedding day since Amy was on top of everything :) I highly recommend her services to others!

My daughter chose a wedding venue out of town, As we both lived in separate locations it was necessary to have a wedding planner. We selected Amy Brewer with weddings Taylor made and were very satisfied. She walked us through every step of the process. She accommodated meetings both in person and via zoom around our work schedules. throughout the year plus of planning. The venue availability determined the wedding date, we also knew which caterer we wanted. In stepped Amy with her many contacts in all other areas and secured vendors and the most incredible band!!! Taylor should be on your vendor list. period. We hired Taylor a few months before our wedding, I had been insistent from the beginning that I wanted a planner, it didn't fit in the budget but I knew I needed someone to handle the month of- to make sure I wasn't forgetting anything important. I am so glad that I found Taylor. She is kind and knowledgeable, and really listens to what you want and will help you execute it when you have no idea what you are doing. She was there with me every step (probably more than she should have been) and looked through everything I planned to make sure I had it all (and I didn't). Taylor can handle anything you throw at her with grace, and she made our day so calm and smooth. She even took videos and behind the scenes that I didn't know about but really treasure now that our day is done.

My husband and I LOVE New Orleans (we're from Boston) and wanted a destination wedding in the French Quarter so that we could share what we love about this magical city with all our loved ones. With Taylor's support and guidance, we had a blast planning our dream wedding in just a few months! She helped curate a list of the best vendors in town and pulled together a truly phenomenal weekend that went off without a hitch (despite being in the midst of COVID). Where do I begin?! Being from Lafayette and New Orleans but wanting to get married in Baton Rouge made wedding planning a little tough. Thankfully, we were referred to Weddings Taylor Made. We first started with Taylor who helped us pick several dates that way we would have variety when looking at venues. We were then matched with Amy who made this wedding process a complete breeze! Once we found our perfect venues, she went to work to make sure we had every vendor recommendation we wanted and more. Throughout this wedding process and all the COVID changes, Amy continuously kept us informed on what our vendors could accommodate. As it got closer to the wedding, Amy helped with any last-minute items we absolutely needed. She even recommended us a second line band that marched us from the ceremony location to the reception, an uncommon occurrence in downtown Baton Rouge. She made sure we were comfortable with every decision we were making and made it as stress-free as possible. We could not have had such a successful and beautiful wedding without Amy or Weddings Taylor Made. We highly recommend them to anyone who is getting married or even wanting to do an event!

We used Amy as a wedding planner for our wedding and were very pleased! My daughter, Victoria, and I worked closely with Amy (Brewer) of Weddings Taylor Made for Victoria’s 12/4/20 wedding. Amy kept us on track and focused. She made sure that we had all details (from large to small) planned out. During these uncertain times with covid restrictions constantly changing, Amy’s experience, dedication, and professionalism was invaluable and second to none! A reception venue change due to covid one week before the wedding was certainly a challenge, but Amy was by our side the entire time to ensure that Victoria had the wedding she always dreamed of! We literally moved the reception from a ballroom to a barn, and Amy (along with Ty Smith of Doug Olinde Rentals & Kali with The Plantation Florist) moved mountains to turn that barn into the prefect reception venue! A few things happened behind the scenes the week of the wedding that we didn’t find out about until later because Amy jumped into action and handled it so we could relax and enjoy this special time. We are so grateful to Amy and her staff for everything they did to make Victoria and Daniel’s wedding special and memorable! It was perfect in every way! My wedding was during the COVID-19 pandemic – and while this was unknown territory for everyone, Amy handled wedding planning with ease. She was ready and prepared for any rescheduling or cancellations and had multiple back up plans ready to go! She always approached our meetings with a professional manner, but was always personable and fun! She always laid out the steps we needed to take in a very digestible but structured manner. Taylor is a life saver in more ways than one. About halfway through our engagement we had to fire our original planner (Three Little Words) and found that she had booked barely anything. I put off writing this review for too long, because I struggled to find words that accurately conveyed how much Amy Brewer means to us. Amy is a superhero! As a bride trying to plan a wedding in my hometown of Baton Rouge, long-distance and busy busy with life I can honestly say - our wedding turned out to be exactly what we wanted, and we would not have been able to do it without Amy. After nailing down the date, venues and some vendors, we did WTM's Le Milieu package. Amy listened to our vision, helped us get our plans organized to a degree that we definitely were not on the ball enough to come up with ourselves, and recommended some fantastic vendors that we would not have known even known how to arrange. Her advice was always well-reasoned, and we never felt pressured. She has great connections with the best local businesses and whenever we said to vendors that we were working with Amy, they already knew her and sang her praises. Her reputation precedes her in Baton Rouge, which is very comforting!! When our wedding day came around we trusted that we were in excellent hands. She orchestrated and executed everything *flawlessly* and most importantly we and our parents all got to fully enjoy the moments without worrying about a thing.
