referred vendors list. Out of the 3 preferred wedding planners, Andrea and her team were the ONLY ones to reach out to me within 24 hours. We set up a time to chat and then I wanted to see what the other wedding planners had to offer. I nearly went with another planner when something told me to reach back out to Andrea and set up a time to meet and thank goodness I did. Within the first 10 minutes of meeting her, I knew she was the one I wanted to plan the most special day of my life. We planned for 14 months together and it was the easiest, most enjoyable, and amazing 14 months all thanks to her. Whenever I would feel overwhelmed or stressed, she knew exactly how to reassure me that EVERYTHING was being taken care of. Never once did I feel misguided when I would seek her advice to make decisions. There were even several instances when I allowed her to make decisions for me and she nailed it every single time. We were always on the same page and because of that she made our wedding day an actual dream come true. I honestly wish I could do it all over again if it meant I could spend another 14 months planning with Andrea and Weddings Unique. I could not imagine going through my wedding journey with anyone else but her. She has a true gift.

executes all of her weddings and not someone hired to work for the brand. She takes time to truly understand what the bride and groom want and works effortlessly to bring it all together. She provided a lot of vendor recommendation who she knew would fit well with the couple, and was available to answer any wedding question I had. Sadly on our wedding day it rained, but Andrea worked with us in advance to make sure we had a rain plan and were happy with it. It’s always a possibility when you plan an outside wedding, but no one really thinks it’s going to happen to them but it can and Andrea made sure it didn’t impact anything on our day. The day was flawless and I couldn’t be happier. Also, sidenote, ironically enough I was even set on using a different company and my then fiancé made the appointment with Andrea and made me go. Within 5 mins of our meeting, I knew she just “got us” and was an even better choice. Towards the end, I was so exhausted by the quadrillion decisions that I seriously wondered why we didn’t elope or run to the courthouse for a quick marriage. Having a seasoned wedding planner will make this journey so much more enjoyable and smooth sailing. I seriously wonder how anyone got married without a planner… ever… without ending in rehab or in a mental institution. Whenever I had disagreements with vendors, she graciously and diligently worked on my behalf to get the best result. Andrea is friendly, professional, reliable and extremely talented at her job. She can diffuse any situation from escalating (and trust me, weddings make people crazy) so this is a crucial skill. Andrea has the knowledge, connections and experience regarding the wedding industry which makes her an invaluable asset you do not want to forgo. On our wedding day, there was a possibility it would rain; hence we had to change the ceremony on the last second to the atrium instead of the grand lawn (at Bella Collina.) It wasn’t a big deal for me since it was so hot outside and I was like a zombie during the apocalypse on that day. However, when I walked down the isle and saw the decorations and the set-up in the atrium, my heart was filled with joy, happiness and gratefulness. It was breathtaking. The day was amazing. I didn’t understand when people told me it would be the best day of my life, aside from giving birth, but now I know. I can tell you for certain that the day would not have been such a success without Andrea running every aspect and detail of it. She truly is amazing and retaining her services is money well spent. On my wedding day, Andrea went above and beyond anything I expected: she carried my bag, provided me with a water bottle, fixed my veil, held onto my shoes and even packed up all my belongings at the end of the night. Next to my mother, Andrea was the shoulder I leaned on the most. She did it all with kindness, a smile and love in her heart because she is committed to giving every bride the best day ever. If you’re pondering whether you should hire a wedding planner for something you can do yourself, as many women think, ponder no more. As a bride, your wedding day should be stress-free and enjoyable. There is no way I would’ve enjoyed the wedding if I had to go around chasing vendors, calling the cake lady or fixing flowers. Stress also shows on your face, shoulders and demeanor. Having Andrea in my corner took all the drama and stress away so when I finally said, “I do,” it wasn’t in the midst of a meltdown. She also comes with Ashley, who is just as sweet and reliable as her. These are the women you want on your team, especially when some of my bridesmaids lost their marbles. Lastly, financing a wedding, especially a lavish one, is not something that should be left to chance or to some crazy cousin who may end up drunk in the middle of the day. Problems will arise, many did for me, and having Andrea there to solve them was the best decision I made, after, of course, marrying my prince charming. ;) Best of luck and thank you Weddings Unique, Andrea and Ashley, for everything you do and for doing it well.

er team there kept everything running seamlessly. She was a pleasure to work with all throughout the process- very kind, professional and personable. I highly recommend Weddings Unique to anyone that wants to be a calm, cool and collected bride. However, if you want to look frazzled and bossy- then try to do it all on your own ;) . We had some "hiccups" with our venue and Andrea helped us with the setup and breakdown of the items that the venue wouldn't do. There was a bee issue where we were planning to have our cocktail hour and Andrea and her assistant handled all of the stress so that I didn't have to be worrying about anything the day of. She was so patient but firm enough that my family and the wedding party listened to her and everyone knew exactly what to do (which is very difficult with my family at times! lol) Everything went perfectly- I can be a perfectionist, so I don't say that too easily!

Also, I really appreciated the fact that even though Andrea is a busy wedding planner (which means she's obviously doing her job well), she always made time for me and never made me feel rushed or that I was not a priority. I'm sure there were times in the process that I probably was not the most pleasant person to deal with but both Andrea and her assistant Ashley never lost their cool and were pleasant the entire time. They also allowed me to sit back and truly enjoy my wedding day while they took care of the details. They repeatedly fixed my shoes when they kept coming undone on my wedding day (I couldn't reach because of my dress), they brought all my bridesmaids lunch while getting ready, they made such I was hydrated (my ceremony was outside and on a warmer day), and they made sure everything flowed smoothly. I strongly recommend Weddings Unique - they are worth every penny!

The worst part was that the day of, the coordinators made us feel extremely rushed and they misdirected my spouse on when to walk down the aisle, resulting in us walking down almost simultaneously. Our coordinator tried to direct our photographer as well, which was definitely frustrating to us and to the photographer, as if she was questioning our photographer's work. We were exactly on time for our walk down the aisle and as such, we missed out on picture opportunities and my guests missed out on listening to our harpist play and enjoying drinks provided by the venue. Our ceremony was only 15 minutes so there was no reason for us to be rushed to walking down the aisle at our time on the exact dot. Especially when we had built in time for transportation from the original ceremony site to the reception site but we ended up not needing that time due to weather constraints. I think the most frustrating thing was that the very first thing I indicated when selecting this venue was that I DID. NOT. by any means, under any circumstances want to get married in a ballroom. I needed proximity to nature, water, trees, flowers and not 4 walls and tacky carpeting. I told the venue this and our coordinator and yet, when we discovered the chance of rain on our day was very high, we were told our backup ceremony space options were limited to ballrooms. I went into full fledged panic mode just 5 days before my wedding, as this was THE only thing I specified when signing the contract and was reassured by our coordinator that the backup venue was not a ballroom. I mistakenly trusted her and the fact that we purposely chose a month that historically is a very dry month. We were left to ask our reception space if there was any way possible we could also utilize them as a ceremony space. Thank GOD, they were able to help us and save our wedding, but with this one instruction, I would expect a decent wedding planner to work their tail off to find a backup space that met the bride's needs. I'm thankful that I did not directly pay for the services of Weddings Unique and if asked for suggestions, would not recommend them. The ladies we had were nice on the surface, and acted as though they would be helpful, but just did not have the output to back it up. They were not rude or dismissive, but just did not actually DO much at all.

It was such a joy planning my wedding with Weddings Unique and can't even say enough good things about Andrea!

y Unique, Full Planning service. My main wedding coordinator was Heather, former Weddings Unique owner. Andrea(new owner) was also supposed to be my "second coordinator" (as they promise you in your contract), but she did not attend any planning meetings, with the exception of the floral meeting (which she was late for BOTH times- one time so late, she didn't even make the meeting). Flash forward to the day of our rehearsal- I find out that Heather will not be at my wedding because she has left the company. Every bride's worst nightmare- the wedding coordinator who you have worked with and trusted with every detail over the last year will not be at your wedding. Everything that went wrong the day of our wedding, was caused by Weddings Unique and the floral company owned by the same owner (which I am not allowed to provide the name of according to TheKnot's review policy). My flowers were HORRIBLE! Nothing like what I requested and the photos I showed and they were total garbage. I cringe every time I see a photo of my bouquet. So many wedding details were wrong that would not have happened if my wedding coordinator was on top of things. (Andrea could not even figure out how to bustle my dress- thank goodness my photographer was amazing and knew how to do it.) We contacted the owner to make things right and reimburse us a portion of our fees for the things that went so wrong. All we asked for was to pay the "day of coordinator" fee and be reimbursed for full-planning since essentially all we got was a day-of coordinator. Andrea has been telling us for months that "a check is in the mail". We have not received a check almost 3 months after our wedding. The floral company just ignores our phone calls. DO NOT USE THESE COMPANIES. Incredibly dishonest people!!! I am incredibly disappointed in the lies Andrea has been telling us for months. She owes it to us to reimburse us for a service that she did not provide. We gave her plenty of time to make things right before posting this review, but it is clear she will do nothing.

A huge plus to Weddings Unique is the paper designer, Jessica Belvedere, on staff; she custom-designed everything from cocktail napkins to the wedding program to the menu. The custom designs created a true cohesive look to our weekend. I'm so happy we chose Weddings Unique- Heather and team created the perfect wedding!
