Weddings With Joy

al, Meadow to be your bride stylist.

never would have thought of on my own, and trying out different accessories, getting an immediate feel for my style and the vibe I was going for. There were so many options for me as a plus-size bride and I felt so beautiful throughout the experience. Since I bought my gown in February, I’ve had outreach from the rest of the amazing team there - Courtney, Kristen, and Meadow - about alteration places, bridal party attire, and menswear - anything and everything a bride could need. They’ve been so supportive and positive leading up to my big day, they’ve become part of the journey with me! The Weddings With Joy team is amazing and would recommend them to any bride, any day!

on happen!

ieved that I would be a bride who looked in the mirror and cried because I felt so stunning, and that is exactly what happened!

narrowing down my options after listening to how I want to feel on my wedding day. I feel so pretty and I am so excited to wear my dress. I loved my experience so much I even went back and ordered all of my accessories as well (hair, earrings, necklace, veil). Thank you to the best wedding shop! Also - Definitely go for the Champagne Experience!

narrowed it down to two dresses and eventually decided on the more simple dress. The goal was to find a dress that was traditional, elegant and with lots of lace and embroidery. We succeeded. My whole family loved the dress, especially my grandmother who was very pleased with the dresses train. My now husband was banned from seeing the dress until the wedding and he loved it. I myself, of course loved it as well. The woman who helped my aunt and I while we were at the shop was a woman named Andriana, she was very nice and very helpful. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a dress, they have lots of dresses on hand, and because of my poor planning, we needed a dress we could leave with that day. We found the perfect dress, in my size even, and bought it that day. We also bought a veil and sleeves, since my dress was sleeveless and I wanted sleeves for a more traditional look, both looked like they had been made for the dress. All around it was a very delightful experience and would definitely recommend for anyone in Washington to check out.

g, and she was patient in helping me find exactly what I was looking for! I felt comfortable and confident in myself, and her advice on alterations was amazing. Very thankful for this experience and I'm so excited to feel like a princess on my big day!!

e was apparent and she worked really hard to make my vision come true. I would highly recommend shopping here!

re I tried on at least 20 dresses and then would try them on again. Until she helped me piece together the Most Amazing, Beautiful and Stunning Dress!! I highly Recommend shopping at Weddings with Joy!!

up not getting my dress here, I wish it would have been so!! I highly recommend this place:)

I would one day wear for my wedding. When the day finally arrived for me to pick my wedding dress I knew exactly where to go. Courtney and Ashley were so amazing and made it the greatest experience I could ever have. I had no idea what type of wedding dress I wanted and they were so kind and patient as I tried on (and loved) so many of the dresses. Ultimately, Courtney helped to find me my perfect dress. I ordered my dress pre-Covid and Courtney remained in constant contact with me and the designers to reassure me that I would get my dress on time. I could not be more thankful for the greatest experience I have ever had. These ladies made me feel so important, loved, beautiful and so excited for my wedding day. I would recommend Weddings With Joy to every bride!

y asked to see my ring! Let's be honest, I will show that thing off to anyone that asks! She told me how the store was laid out and explained the entire process of what to expect for my appointment that day. Then I got the absolute privilege of working with not only Ashley but Kristin as well. It was like I had two personal shoppers. Ashley listened perfectly to what I was envisioning and understood my insecurities and hesitations on certain styles. After a few dresses in, Ashley, Kristin, and Courtney all went and pulled a few more styles for me. Ones I could never picture myself in. They explained that sometimes the ideas I come in with, are the exact opposite of what I leave with. After I tried on the new dresses, I began to feel absolutely different. I felt beautiful and confident. Three dresses in, I found my dress! I walked out of the fitting room and looked over at my party and they instantly started crying and telling me that was it! They played with different accessories and veils until we found the perfect match. I could not thank these ladies enough for not only finding me my dream dress, but also giving me the confidence and support I needed. Weddings With Joy is hands down the best experience shopping I've ever had. I cannot wait to walk down the aisle in my beautiful gown!!!!

o work with. They made shopping for my gown stress-free and fun! Not only were they super knowledgeable about their product, but they seem genuine as well. They were not pushy or rude like other bridal shops we have entered. I felt special and celebrated from start to finish-and my Mom and future MIL had a great time too! It was a memorable experience full of laughs and a few happy tears. I showed Courtney (the owner) a few photos of what I liked on Pinterest and she knew exactly what to pull for me to try on! I felt so confident leaving the boutique, I can’t wait for my gown to come in so I can go back and make the final decision on my accessories! Thank you Weddings With Joy!! So happy to be a “joyful bride” :-)

I got engaged and COVID happened 😅 Despite that I was able to make an appointment at Weddings with Joy with ease. They took all the necessary precautions and I was allowed to bring my mom and sister. Kristin and Courtney were so welcoming and kind. I showed them my Pinterest and they immediately knew exactly what my style was. I ended up finding the dress! I actually walked away and discussed the dress over lunch and returned knowing that I was in good hands at Weddings with Joy and have always, always wanted to buy my dress from them. 🥰

e truly delivers! There a dresses there for all body types and styles. That little shop holds a lot more than you'd think. :) I also used Weddings with Joy for our tuxes, and I worked with Courtney to ship my dress to Texas for me. The Weddings with Joy team was so great about communicating with us, and helping keep us and our groomsman on track. They made what could potentially have been stresseful situations so much easier for us. You can tell that Courtney genuinely cares about all of her clients. You won't be disappointed!

ned to what I wanted and helped me find the dress I’ve been looking for. She helped to make the whole experience so special and she was so kind and encouraging through the entire process while never pressuring me into making a decision until I was ready.

right amount of gowns for me to try on without getting me overwhelmed. She has the perfect personality for her job!! My gown arrived at the store a few weeks early and needed very minimal alterations. Courtney recommended an Awesome gal who did my alterations perfectly and she did it in a 1 week turn around. I am very very pleased with Weddings with Joy and highly recommend them!

lone buy a gown, but when you know something is right you do it. I tried it on and immediately started crying because I felt beautiful. The ladies at Weddings with Joy made me feel so comfy and beautiful regardless of my size. We ordered my gown that day. They were fantastic with communication and at the end of May my gown came in. A few weeks ago i went to try it on and it was perfect! The color was more beautiful than I was expecting and the gown ended up being too big (not a bad problem to have!) so I’ll need to alter it, but I am so thrilled with my gown and I can’t wait to wear it on my special day!

recommend!

n what fits my body and style the most. It made my shopping for gowns much less stressful than I expected it to be. And guess what, I said yes to the dress here! 😊 I definitely recommend visiting them! Prices aren't too bad, comfortable dressing rooms. Worth the drive to Lacey.

nce completely stressfree and I had a great time!!! They had a good variety of dresses to try on and the employees really took their time making sure I was happy!

ess. Luckily their new Joyful collection included this Hazel dress which I saw on Facebook and Courtney was kind enough to let me walk in and try in on. I could not have loved the dress anymore, and the veil was the perfect touch.

s my consultant and I had a wonderful experience! I felt like she really understood my vision and gave great, honest advice. Another consultant, Ashley was there as well and offered great input. It was definitely a team event! This was my first wedding dress shopping appointment and I couldn’t have enjoyed it more!

Olympia to have a personalized shopping experience with Courtney and she staff. I highly recommend Weddings With Joy!

oked good one me. Compared to other dress shops I felt the dresses were affordable in price and I didn’t feel pressure to buy. Courtney patiently answered all my question and gave me some helpful tips.

tion to my opinions while giving me honest feedback. Her way of handling clients was so professional and I felt so comfortable asking any questions! I would definitely recommend other brides go to Weddings With Joy, and thank you for such a great selection of dresses! You have everything!

el for the style I wanted. They pulled dresses for me too, one of which ended up being the one I picked that I did not originally think I would like! I’m so glad they did, because it is beautiful and I am obsessed with my dress. They made me feel special and beautiful and everything I imagined the day would feel like. I would highly recommend this place to any bride to be!

experience so amazing. I showed them a few styles I liked, but really was open to anything. Michelle pulled multiple dresses for me to try, as well as letting me choose some as well. After the 2nd dress, I was sold. However her and Courtney told me to keep trying on dresses, then go back to it, to make sure it was “the one”. I chose to get a last season, more plain dress so I could customize it and make it my own. Courtney was amazing, and I couldn’t have done it without her. She told me who to go see, and whenever I had an idea in my head to customize something, she would add to it and make it even better. They also always have sales/discounts going, which was really helpful! I also chose to get the groom’s & groomans suits there, which Courtney helped with as well. She ordered in samples, so I could see them in person before placing the order. I also couldn’t decide on colors, and when I finally had, the one we chose happened to be not what we expected, so she spent two hours texting me pictures and options because I wasn’t able to make it in! I’m so thankful and proud to have bought a dress/rent from a small business that has an owner that truly cares about her customers happiness- not just the sale. I would recommend them to everyone and anyone!

ffer, based on my style, and size. She even found a couples dresses that I never would have initially tried, but still looked great and made me feel beautiful. I chose to only bring my sister because I know she will tell me her honest opinion, and she knows how I like to move around, so it was helpful to only have one persons opinion. Buying a wedding dress can be stressful! We opted for the champagne experience because we knew it would help alleviate some of the wedding stress without clouding our judgment! Best idea ever! We had the shop to ourselves! Overall I chose a dress within my $1000-$1500 budget. I also arranged to have my fiancé and his groomsmen fitted for tuxes as well. I will definitely be coming back with my bridesmaids to look at dresses. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

rough my wedding day. Michelle and Courtney were so wonderful and helpful! My expectations were beyond exceeded. Thank you Weddings With Joy for your exceptional customer service. I definitely felt so beautiful in my dress.

ments and i was able to go in and try on some dresses and see which ones would look good on me. we ended up finding my dress that day. i am so glad we went in and was able to get a chance to try on dresses. i would recommend them to anyone.

Prices were more than reasonable and competitive. Worth the drive from both the north and south. PERFECT for those local to Olympia & Lacey!

shley was a complete rockstar with us all! She let us choose our styles, she never pushed anything, and we all ended up getting amazing deals on our dresses too. She laughed with us, got to know us all, and she was just as excited for us as we were. I can't say enough kind things about her, and the owner Courtney! Fabulous dress shop with fabulous gals, I'll recommend them to anyone!

sked to share a room to try on dresses so a walk-in client could try on dresses. I am sorry but I had an appointment! I shouldn't have to share a room. We ended up finding a bridesmaids dress we liked and scheduled a second appointment to come back with the remaining 3 bridesmaids to try on the ONE dress we liked. When we came back to the boutique I was trying to find the bridesmaids dress (because they weren't helping) finally she asked if we wanted to get fitted. The lady then pulled two dresses and told me they SOLD the ONE dress I wanted my bridesmaids to try on. I was VERY frustrated as we drove over an hour and half and not informed me they no longer have the bridesmaids dress because they sold it to a customer for prom! I asked the lady if we could at least get any type of compensation for not being able to show the girls the actual dress they are about to spend $225 on and she said no because they are marked down to the lowest MSRP price.. I informed the lady that this was HUGE disappointment. When we just drove down to try on the ONE dress hour and half! They couldn't have at least called me to inform this a few days prior?? After we decided to get fitted they weren't helping us at all! I felt like I was doing ALL the work as the bride. Plus we needed help because we had someone who will be 7 months pregnant at the time of the wedding. Once they took our measurements correctly. We left the store and took our business elsewhere. They lost a business of $1226! Don't waste your time. Take your business to Something Blue Boutique who helps you and are polite. they also don't make you feel rushed!

hey will find something similar. They have a pretty good selection of dresses! I would highly recommend them!

fect and unique. They have a big selection for a small shop and do a great job of listening to you and finding a dress that works with your style.

to find a dress for your price range. I think $700 is reasonable; they think it is cheap. I found a dress that fit my description perfectly in the bridesmaid section. They were less than thrilled that I opted away from an 800 beautiful, but overly fluffy dress, for a 190 stunner. Also, my dress was 2 weeks late and they were not great about it, even though I ordered with time to spare. When my mother came to see my dress, there was no help, just "go back to the dressing room". They are only interested in clients that are willing to spend more money on the "one". Especially the one they help you find. One employee was kind and enthusiastic. The woman that I assumed was the owner or manager has a constant scowl; even at the bridal expos. Was not impressed and would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

u're looking for in stock, they'll get it for you!

s great. I got everything I need from this store. My grown, veil, hair jewels, shoes, maid of honor gown, and tuxes. The only thing that I didn't like was my shoes and my maid of honor shoes were dyed by them, and they turned out two different shades, that didn't look like each other at all and really weren't what I had expected. But I never said anything to them. Other than that I would highly recommend this shop!
