My husband and I got married on 6/22/24 by Love & Laughter Weddings! It was such an incredible ceremony! Kimi was an amazing wedding officiant! We were so happy with the whole experience from start to finish! We really felt like she got to know us and was able to make our ceremony feel very intimate. Thank you for an awesome wedding ceremony!!! You helped make it one of the best days of our lives! Our family loved you too! We highly recommend hiring Love & Laughter Weddings!

We have lowered our review to 1 star. We severely regret hiring Kimi. Our 30 minute ceremony that we paid for lasted 10 minutes once we were on stage. She forgot our traditional vows, "I do's", could not read properly, and our guests + one of our vendors thought she was intoxicated. She severely mispronounced my name ONLY during the ceremony and confirmed the details of the ceremony minutes before, rather than coming prepared. When responding to our concerns, she called me the incorrect name. If you are looking to hire an officiant, skip Kimi unless you want to be called the wrong name and not get what you paid for. You know a ceremony is bad when your own vendors say it was horrible.

Halie, When I read your initial review I was so heart broken I mispronounced your name, ...

but I did appreciate that you said I was sweet and kind, because learning of the mispronouncing of your name was certainly not my intention. As, someone with an unusual first name, that people often are unsure how to pronounce, I feel you, and my heart hurts even more that I did this to you. I’ve already sent you and Luke and email with my apologies and a full refund. I’m so sad that I brought any negative experience your way, because naturally that was never my intention. Working with you over the last few months has been a great joy. And it was so fun to read your couple’s questionnaire and add personal touches to your ceremony. The ceremony I created for you was 20 minutes, as I aim for 20 minutes while writing it. I was happy you and Luke added your personal vows, which was so beautiful to hear, I knew you didn’t need the traditional ‘I do’, but I should have asked before I took those out. Since, I work virtually with couples, I make it a point to confirm the details when I arrive to the wedding, but please know I am prepared with full ceremony script in hand. I must say, I’m horrified that anyone would think I was intoxicated, especially because I don’t even drink. Again, my heartfelt apologies for mispronouncing your name. I want you and Luke to know that I have already made changes to my process to triple check names well ahead of time and to have my couples send me a “voice text” of them saying their names, so I hear it the way they want it pronounced. It was a joy to work with you and Luke and I hope you treasure many positive memories of your day. Continue to feel like newlyweds forever. Warm regards, Kimiko

Kimiko officiated our wedding, and we loved having her there! She has a streamlined process where she collects information from both partners and is able to blend it into a seamless dialog that she uses during the ceremony. We were also very grateful that despite a nearby quinceanera making a large amount of noise during our ceremony, Kimiko was able to keep our guests focused on our ceremony. We definitely recommend working with her!

I had the pleasure of working with Kimiko at Weddings with Love & Laughter. She is AMAZING! I hired Kimiko to help my son and now daughter-in-law. As our day-of coordinator, Kimiko made sure everything was pulled off seamlessly in real time during the rehearsal and wedding ceremony/reception. She was great at troubleshooting questions and unknowns the day of and right before the wedding. Kimiko always made it a point to check on the bride to ensure she was OK. She provided flawless execution of plans. Kimiko has such radiant and positive energy. Everyone (bride, groom, family, officiant, photographers, venue, etc.) loved working with her. I would work with Kimiko again in a heartbeat!

Kimiko is so amazing! She was exactly the style of officiant we were hoping for for our ceremony! Prior to the big day, Kimiko took the time to meet with us via phone call to ask us questions about our story and relationship and connect with us which we really appreciated! She also gave us so much valuable information in terms of how to make our wedding license appointment and all of the logistics that go with it. On the day of the ceremony, Kimiko arrived and her energy is infectious!! She was genuinely so excited for our big day and it came through during our ceremony which we loved. Kimiko did such an amazing job and so many people asked if she was related to us after the ceremony because of how well she seemed like she knew us! We couldn't have dreamed of a better officiant!

l am so excited to be writing this review! Kimmy was the most incredible person to officiate my wedding. I feel lucky that my family and I found her. I was most nervous about the ceremony and planning what I wanted since this was what I was most unsure about. One phone call and all my worries faded away! She is so easy to talk to and plan with. She took all my vague ideas and formed them into a solid plan. She gave us so many options to choose from to truly create the most individualized ceremony. She is highly experienced and knowledgeable about every style and tradition. She gave us the idea to do a wine box ceremony and gave the most beautiful speech during it— it was something I never imagined doing but she made it the most memorable part of my ceremony. She gave us a couples questionnaire to fill out, and then using that she pieced together the most beautiful and individualized speech about our love story and personalities. The audience and us included laughed and cried throughout the entire ceremony. There wasn’t a dull moment, all thanks to Kimmy!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
