About this vendor
Weddings with Reverend Jim Beidle
I am an experienced professional wedding officiant based in Arlington, Washington. Aware of the many details that go into planning your perfect wedding day, I take pains to make your ceremony planning easy, fun, and affordable. I believe you’ll build your life on the memories you create as you stand together at the marriage altar. I am committed to helping you communicate your love through meaningful vows, entertaining your guests through a joyful celebration, and bringing you into a lifetime of happiness.
Experienced
As an ordained minister, I have performed weddings since 2012. Based on that experience, I’ve assembled several wedding packages for every style of wedding you can imagine. From elopements through creative celebrations and resort destinations to your backyard. Whatever your vibe, you and I create precisely the ceremony you want to celebrate your love. It’s your ceremony - how do you imagine your wedding day?
Professional
There are many officiants who treat their calling as a hobby, with the casual attitude that sometimes entails. Yet your officiant is your guide to the legal and spiritual process of becoming married. Isn’t it important that they understand and comply with a legal and ethical standard to ensure your wedding goes without a hiccup?
As a professional officiant, I adhere to the rigid standards and the strong code of ethics chartered by the International Association of Professional Wedding Officiants - IAPWO. The IAPWO Code of Ethics includes key ideals of honesty, trustworthiness, respect, and non-discrimination. Regardless of your background, I promise to treat you fairly and spell out what I can and cannot do for you.
Mobile
Although I focus on offering services in Northwest Washington, I am ready to travel to you! I have married couples in three of Washington’s national parks, on whale watching tours, and at the beach. Wherever you want to tie the knot, I am ready to make it happen.

Our ceremony was perfectly tailored to us as a couple and his kindness and warmth really shined through. Our guests were laughing, crying and smiling the entire time. Everyone had nothing but great things to say about our ceremony, and how personal it felt which was exactly what we wanted. Extremely recommend him!

Reverend Jim was beyond amazing. He catered the ceremony to exactly what we wanted and it was a beautiful ceremony. Jim is very well organized. As we planned the ceremony with him,...
he provided his very own catalogue or resources for things like helping write vows. He also took care of almost all of the legal "legwork" for us so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Jim was super patient as well. We had a first look before the ceremony and it was a hot day with almost no available shade. Still, he waited for us to finish and didn't complain, or even seem agitated. I would use Jim again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him!
Jim was super nice, responsible and easy to communicate. Our wedding was just perfect. Thank you, Rev Jim!

now how much he truly cares about each couple. Each instance of anxiety or any question was answered promptly on the phone and in e-mail. The event day, he was right where he said he would be with a smile. Because we were allowed to be engaged in the process, making choices in the readings and passages, it made it so personal for us. Everyone at our micro-wedding loved him so much. He is a treasure and we will forever be blessed knowing this kind man.

gh outline of what would be said during the ceremony and it brought me to tears because I felt that it was so beautiful and well written. He provided us with the perfect ceremony and we worked with him to add some personalized touches. Photography was really important to us for the ceremony and Jim went out of his way to look up what time of day would provide the best lighting and offered to have the ceremony at the golden hour. Everything about this day was so amazing and Jim was a huge contributing factor to that. I would highly recommend him.
