Hiring wedicity was the best decision I made during the entire wedding planning process! I had no idea what I was doing but Kristina swooped in and set my mind at ease. She was very organized. Communication was easy and reliable. I can truly say there were zero glitches on the day of our wedding thanks to Kristina and her team. Her team set up all of our decorations, collected everything at the end of the night, and returned everything safely and neatly into our house that night while we stayed at the hotel. I had so many guests mention how smoothly the wedding and reception went and actually inquired at the wedding who we used for our planner because it was so perfectly executed. When we got to our hotel room after the ceremony my veil was safe and sound (I thought I left it), and rose pedals were placed all over the room. It was truly a magical weekend thanks to Kristina, Giovanna, Safiyyah, and their team. Could not more highly recommend them! Worth every penny.

Hire them now!! Kristina at Wedicity was a true magician and my wedding this past weekend was a dream come true because of her! She will give you the reassurance that you need if you are feeling stressed with planning. We didn't have to worry about a thing - we felt so reassured that she had everything under control! Kristina honestly made our whole wedding weekend everything we wanted and more. From helping us find suppliers/vendors, to being there on the day, Kristina made the whole experience so enjoyable. I mean she even made sure to brush our velvet reception chairs so they would look smooth and perfect for our guests and the detail shots! I mean who does that?! Our wedding planning experience with Wedicity was wonderful. We worked with Kristina, who is, I believe, the most patient and organized person I have ever met. She kept us on track, provided great vendor recommendations, and designed the most beautiful visuals/decor. Their day-of-coordination was incredible, and they made our day feel stress-free and truly special. Kristina and her team saved us so much time and stress and made our wedding day 100 times better than it otherwise would have been.

We got married almost 8 months ago and I still don't know that I have the words to explain how incredible our experience was with Wedicity. The first decision we made after getting engaged was that we needed a wedding planner. We set up an informational meeting with Tionna and it was so clear within the first few minutes how passionate she is about making everyone's wedding a dream come true. Beyond her passion, her knowledge of the industry blew us away and we just knew that Wedicity was going to be the best fit for us. We were paired up with Giovanna Danno as our wedding planner and she was truly incredible to work with. She was always in communication with us, giving us a list of to-dos with due dates while keeping us up to date on what she was working on. Giovanna was able to take all of my random inspiration pictures and create the absolute wedding of my dreams and then she was able to find all of the vendors we needed in order to make it come to life. She was an amazing thought partner and listened to all of our ideas and provided advice when we had no idea what we should do. I got to the point during planning where I just stopped worrying and fully trusted her and I knew everything would be perfect. Giovanna and her two assistants were available to me all throughout the day of the wedding. She was consistently checking in with my MOH to make sure I was eating and staying hydrated and doing the same with my husband and his best man. Our families were tended to, everyone knew where to be and when, and none of that fell on my shoulders. During the reception, I kept hearing from my guests that I was the calmest bride and it truly was because of Giovanna and the Wedicity team. I could keep writing a dissertation on the millions of reasons why Wedicity and Giovanna were the absolute best decision we made, and how working with them will be the best decision you will ever make, but I will refrain and leave it with this: Wedicity and Giovanna gave us the wedding of our dreams and we will forever shout their praises whenever we are given the chance.

I truly do not know how to put into words how grateful I am for the Wedicity team, especially Giovanna Danno. Hiring a wedding planner was a priority for me, given mine and my husband's demanding work schedules, but I wasn't exactly sure how best to decide which wedding planner was right for us. I received Wedicity's information from my aunt who was working with Chicago Style Weddings Magazine. I met with Tionna and knew it was an amazing fit because of how incredibly organized and responsive she was. I could relate to how type A she was and loved her organizational skills and the Aisle Planner system they work with. I was beyond lucky to be paired with Giovanna. From the beginning, she was so on top of everything and had such amazing ideas regarding design and guest experience enhancements. She was able to pair me with the absolute best vendor team and helped with stuff I didn't even know I wanted! She went above and beyond from a design perspective - she really has such an eye for that! And not only did she help with the wedding, but she also helped my mom and grandmother with the bridal shower which was absolutely stunning.  Everyone kept saying how surprisingly calm I was the day of the wedding - and it was all thanks to Giovanna and the Wedicity team! Everything went perfectly - and if there was a problem I had no idea! Their ability to flawlessly execute on the event and stay to a strict timeline was beyond impressive. Everyone on their team is so genuine, super nice and extremely organized! They went above and beyond.  I am so thankful for Wedicity, especially Giovanna. I can't wait to come up with an excuse to work with them again! Giovanna handled anything that came her way in such a calm and collected manner. She even dealt with me and my mom arguing on planning calls ;). Forever grateful for this amazing team! 

As a venue manager, I work with all levels of planners and I can say that Giovanna was a dream to plan with and worked the day of with Tionna! They were professional, KNOWLEDGEABLE about how dinner service can be, and worked along side my team as a partnership with grace and smiles. We will definitely refer them back to the Warwick Allerton to any future couples who are looking for guidance, day-of onsite assistance, and of course, a great hand to hold!!!

The most important decision you’ll make which will influence how planning and the wedding day go is your wedding planner. The best decision you’ll make is hiring the Wedicity team! This is the most difficult but yet easiest review I’ve ever written before. Difficult because it means I will officially no longer be working with the best wedding planner EVER! So easy because our wedding would not have happened EXACTLY how I pictured it without Giovanna Danno. When I first started looking for wedding planners, I knew we wanted to partner with a company that prioritized experience, details, communication and for someone who plans events for work & in my personal life - they fired on all cylinders! I had researched for weeks and nailed the list down from 15-10 to 5 wedding planners I wanted to meet with. Wedicity made the shortlist. At our first meeting, the owner Tionna was so friendly, detailed, enthusiastic but most importantly PASSIONATE. I was overjoyed and excited at the possibility to work with them. Tionna clearly knows what she’s doing when it comes to hiring an amazing team. Even though I primary worked with Giovanna, every team member I encountered the day of was wonderful & so friendly - they were ON POINT. The entire day went off without a hitch and if there was one, I certainly didn’t know about it. I kept getting comments about how I looked so calm and it was because of them. The entire process working with Giovanna was incredible. She was patient, kind, accommodating, thoughtful, incredibly detailed and organized - and really helped me put all the pieces to the puzzle together. Her professionalism was unmatched as I probably had over 15 vendors she had to balance working with on that day and it was PERFECTION. Giovanna is a rockstar and we are grateful for all of her recommendations and grace, while navigating all that was thrown her way. I’m still hearing three weeks later how this was the best and most organized wedding anyone has attended. To summarize, I would absolutely hire Wedicity again I only hope I get to work with them again on our future vow renewals because of how seamless and wonderful our wedding was. 1,000/10!

I am not sure where to even begin with Tionna and Oviri at Wedicity. I guess i'll start by saying, I am the type of person who thought I could likely plan a wedding on my own, but figured it was worth while to have someone assist in the last 90 days. My wife, Lyndsey and I, interviewed a few people but immediately realized that Tionna and Oviri not only seemed like they cared immensely about making the wedding of our dreams come true, but they instantly had some great ideas for us. Tionna was also so responsive to our initial inquiries (some others were not). Fast forward to actually working with them. Oviri and Tionna were not only responsive, attentive, but were also so caring throughout the process. We threw a handful of curveballs their way and they never seemed annoyed with us. They simply just found a solution every time we needed one and they did so quickly and with care. Their vendors that they recommended were great and they got us to the wedding feeling comfortable and excited for the day. The day of, our videographer (not picked by them but picked by us) was a no call no show. Obviously this was something that would cause the average wedding couple stress. They did not let it become a stressful part of the day for us. Instead, they quickly scrambled and with one hours notice they found us a replacement videographer who was amazing. From the moment they started working with us until the day after the wedding they were the perfect wedding planners. I do not think, actually I know that we could not have pulled off the wedding of our dreams without them. Quite honestly, they are the best money spent on a wedding and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to hire wedding planners. Thanks again Tionna and Oviri.

Working with Wedicity was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. We got engaged in 2021 and immediately felt intimidated by the wedding planning process/industry. In a city like Chicago, there are a lot of options when it comes to vendors, venues, etc. The last thing we wanted was to be overwhelmed and made decisions based on FOMO, rather than what we wanted. We were referred to Wedicity by a friend an immediately knew they were the right choice. On the initial meeting, Tionna took the time to get to know us as a couple; our story, likes/dislikes and vision. She put together a thoughtful proposal that made us feel like she understood who we were and what we wanted. It didn’t feel generic or cookie cutter template. We began then working with Kristina, who was incredible. Over the last two year, Kristina handled everything from vendor discovery, design proposals, contract review, vendor communication, day-off management/coordination etc. We were always presented with multiple vendor choices and felt they matched what we were looking for. We never felt pressured or swayed to make a decision that wasn’t what we wanted. All the vendors we worked with were amazing and that’s thanks to Kristina. She was always there when we needed her and had amazing communication throughout the process. In general, I am an anxious person, however Kristina kept me calm and reassured throughout the entire planning process, and especially on wedding day. Kristina’s attention to detail is impeccable. She guided us through the entire process with professionalism and transparency. We loved building a connection and friendship with Kristina, during the time working together. As the wedding day came closer the Wedicity team was on top of everything! All the coordination was handle and it felt like we just had to show up. Even at the end of the night, all of our things were back in our hotel room waiting for us. We cannot thank Kristina and Wedicity enough. They are top-tier in everything that they do.

Where to even begin - Kristina Flens and Wedicity are the absolute best!! 5 stars aren’t nearly enough! We worked with Kristina from the very beginning and she guided us the entire way. We started with very little vision for what we wanted, but she knew all the right questions to ask. She took every little tidbit of information we gave her and put it all together in the most beautiful and incredible way. It was like she read our minds! Kristina did absolutely everything for us throughout the entire process. Even as the bride, I had absolutely zero stress thanks to her. She is thoughtful, creative, and intuitive, not to mention incredibly organized and SO kind! Our happiness was absolutely her top priority. She made this the wedding of our dreams. We are simply obsessed with her and everyone in this company! We cannot recommend them enough. If you’re looking for a wedding planner, do not even think about looking elsewhere!! We would book them a million times over. Kristina, you are the best there is!

Wow. just wow. If you're wondering whether or not you should hire Wedicity, stop wondering and book before your date is no longer available. I, like a lot of brides, was working on a budget and it wasn't until about a year out that I was able to commit to hiring a day of coordinator. It was the best money I spent throughout the entire process. I worked with Kristina and she was phenomenal. Not only did everything I requested go smoothly, but the things that I didn't know to request did too. We had a phenomenal time and a wonderful experience throughout the process - not just the day of our wedding!

I have no words to express how impressed we were with wedicity and our coordinator, Kristina Flens. We were in constant communication with Kristina starting from the 90 day mark. She was able to provide us with resources for our officiant, readings to include in our ceremony and MUCH more. She was incredibly detailed, organized and professional. She attended all of our meetings with our vendors and really turned our wedding vision into reality. Kristina- you are AMAZING and Brenden and I are so thankful we got to meet and work with you.

Working with Wedicity was one of the best decisions we made that helped our wedding vision come to life. Kristina, our planner, was SO professional, responsive, helpful, proactive, and organized throughout our year and a half engagement. She always kept us on track and gave a ton of recommendations to keep our wedding in-line with our vision and budget. The venue we went with required a lot of outside vendors (we had over 10) and she managed the communication and integration of them all so seamlessly. If you're looking for help planning any event (not limited to weddings!), Wedicity offers different packages and will deliver on all of your needs!

An excellent wedding coordinator is the most important vendor to hire for your wedding day. We were so happy with Wedicity, and specifically our primary wedding planner Giovanna that I wish I could give her a 1000 star rating. We opted for the "90-Days of Details" package, so we planned the wedding ourselves up until 90 days before, and then Giovanna took over the planning coordination at that time. We had several changes occur in the last 1-2 weeks before the wedding and Giovanna handled it all with grace and kindness. The aisleplanner website that is included with the package was so helpful in organizing our budget, creating the seating plan, and keeping all of our contacts and documents in one place. The wedding day itself was incredibly smooth, so much so that we were actually ahead of schedule, and we could include additional photos that we had wanted! Giovanna had two great assistants working with us - Kristina and Dhruvi who were professional, fun to talk to and extremely helpful!

It is hard to know where to exactly begin. If you’re on the fence and don’t know if you really need a wedding planner, the answer is yes. Wedding planning can be stressful, but the Wedicity team is the best! Our planners, Tionna and Oviri made the process fun and offered great suggestions throughout the planning process. They helped us understand what would make sense to have at our wedding, where to cut costs and were we should splurge. Throughout the process we had multiple calls with Tionna and Oviri who patiently worked with us to create and revise the perfect timeline for our wedding day. If your budget allows, I highly recommend the details & designs package, but no matter what package you go with, you will be taken care of. Tionna and Oviri go above and beyond. For us to best illustrate this we would like to detail the below out. We had planned for an outdoor wedding ceremony and about 4 days out we started to become concerned about the rain. Tionna and Oviri worked with us to form a rain back up plan. Sure enough, it rained 2 hours before our ceremony start time (let it be known we had already had to make the rain call at 9am), but the Wedicity team managed to pull off an outdoor ceremony for us! They worked behind the scenes to make sure every tiny detail for our reception and ceremony was perfect while we were taking photos at our first look. Additionally, the Friday before our wedding was the rehearsal. In all the stress and commotion of getting ready for the rehearsal it became apparent right before I was to walk down the aisle for the rehearsal, I realized I had forgotten my bouquet. As this bouquet was made by my maid of honor with the bows from my bridal shower it meant a lot to have it for this moment. I quickly turned to Oviri and in shock and horror I was like “I forgot the bouquet”. She looked at me and I was like “can I go run for it” and she was like “no, I got it”. This girl RAN all the way back to my room and back for this bouquet (multiple floors). Needless to say, she went above and beyond. Overall, we cannot thank the Wedicity team enough, and we truly hope to work with this team for another event in the future! Thank you, Elizabeth and Nick

BEST decision for the BEST day of our lives!! From the moment Tionna and I met over zoom I knew instantly Wedicity was the right choice. Tionna and Kristina made our wedding vision come true! Tionna started us off by helping choose the right vendors for our vision and provided her honest/expert advice. Then, a very unexpected wrench was thrown into our wedding plans and both Tionna and Kristina worked with our vendors to sort out a new wedding date - this took so much stress off us during a difficult time and we are forever grateful to them. Kristina then picked us up and made sure all the details we envisioned for the day of were in place and took care of us until the end of our blissful day. The day after our wedding my exact words were "I want to do that all over again and in the exact same way!" If you are looking for a wedding planner, Wedicity has a wealth of vendor knowledge and pays attention to the details that mean the most to you as well as the details you haven't even thought of!

Upon meeting Tionna I knew I was in good hands from the very beginning . She’s very friendly and you can really tell that she loves what she does. She paired me with Giovanna who worked with me alongside a few interns and I can’t express enough how amazing Giovanna was to work with. We originally had our wedding booked in 2020 and we obviously had to reschedule, and not only were they amazing about extending the contract, twice, but they also went above and beyond during the time in between to make sure things were still on schedule. Giovanna was organized, professional, detailed, and a pleasure to work with all around. Even when I had my freak out moments she was there to calm me down. Giovanna is well versed in wedding planning, and she has some great vendor relationships. All in all, I was very pleased with the work from the whole Wed-icity team. My big day felt seamless, and effortless. I am forever grateful for their help and I would 1000% recommend them to anybody looking for a wedding planner in Chicago. Thanks again ladies!

Tionna and her team were absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding! They have so much experience helping couples with every stage of the planning process and they provide a very easy-to-use and helpful planning platform. They helped us select all of our vendors and guided us through all of the decisions and planning tasks along the way. RUN don't WALK to the Wedicity team's booking page. If you're even considering hiring a planner... stop considering and just hire Wedicity. It's the smartest wedding decision you will make. Trust me!! We got married at a hotel downtown with about 160 guests. I don't know what I would have done without Giovanna and the Wedicity team. The first thing we did as soon as we got engaged was hire them! We purchased the "90 Days of Details" package, but we had a multi-year engagement. Even though we bought the 90-days package, they were super helpful from the get-go, not just within 90 days. Giovanna went above and beyond from the outset to offer her advice, expertise, and recommendations throughout the whole planning process. Also, their Aisleplanner software was insanely instrumental in allowing me to effectively communicate with their team, keep my vendor invoices and contracts organized, and keep our guest list and contact information updated. I definitely didn't even take full advantage every tool that was available to me in the software and still found it super helpful. There is NO way I could have gotten through our wedding planning process without Giovanna! It was hands down the best money I spent on our wedding. We did not hire a florist and had a ton of handmade decorations. The Wedicity team really came through for us and allowed me to hire a few extra "day-of" hands from their team to handle set-up/break-down. During the final 2 weeks and the day of, Giovanna was instrumental in making sure our vendors were taken care of and that everything was communicated perfectly with guests and vendors when it came to our timeline. I am sooo sooo happy I hired Giovanna. Our entire weekend was literally perfect and we have her to thank. <3

We are two gay males who recently got married using Wedicity. Although we never doubted our need for a professional wedding planner as all of our family is out of town, we knew we would have little help in planning this big day. We were nervous about finding a wedding planner that would accommodate our busy schedules as physicians and also be inclusive and experienced in planning same sex weddings. Wedicity and our planner Giovanna exceeded all of our expectations. From the beginning, Tionna the owner met with us to show us the clear timeline they use to make planning such a big day less daunting. Little by little we built all the aspects of the weekend with regular meetings. Our specific planner Giovanna did an outstanding job bringing our vision to life. She accommodated our busy schedules with evening meetings without issue. Giovanna was organized, responsive, and had a great eye for detail. Wedicity gave us good ideas to customize our wedding. They helped our close friend create the script for our wedding ceremony. And they helped us incorporate our dog Little Miss Lu into the ceremony. Their team made the day of the ceremony a time we both spent enjoying the union of our love amongst our family and friends. Our family and friends were overwhelmingly impressed with their work. As an LGBT couple it can feel hard putting yourself out there to create the perfect wedding day for you, but we are very thankful to Wedicity to supporting us through the journey. We're so grateful to have found Wedicity and Giovanna and would highly recommend them to anyone planning their wedding.

Easily the best decision we made about our wedding! Kristina and the Wedicity team were absolutely fantastic! They were kind, easy to work with and detailed oriented - plus, their communication was top notch. Taking over communications with our vendors three months before our day was a lifesaver - it allowed me and my husband-to-be to focus on us, enjoy time with family traveling in, and simply get excited. On the day of, every individual onsite with Wedicity was a star. I’ve been in plenty of weddings where the bridal party fears the planner, and I am thrilled to share that we got nothing but rave reviews from our closest friends and family. As an event planner myself, I knew I needed the help and I could not more highly recommend Wedicity for your most important day!

Wedicity’s expertise and advice more than paid for itself! We are incredibly grateful for how their team helped make everything run so smoothly on our big day that our wedding was more perfect than our wildest expectations! We mainly worked closely with Kristina, who helped streamline the planning process and helped us tackle the wedding planning to-do list. Our original venue closed five months before the wedding, and Tionna & Kristina went into top gear to assist us through that and found us an even more beautiful wedding venue! Tionna and Kristina were so attentive and wonderful for our wedding and such a pleasure to work with. The whole event wouldn't have been as perfect as it was if it wasn't for them. Both of them were there to help me get into the dress and help me adjust it all the extra little things. The button on my sleeve came off at one point, it was a small detail but Tionna jumped into action, pulled out her sewing kit and secured it. Kristina ran over to help me into my dress the next day for the reception when the person that was going to help me into the dress was running late. The entire time they were so professional and on top of EVERYTHING. We can't thank them enough for all that they did, we couldn't have done it without them!! You will NOT regret hiring them to handle any and all parts of you wedding!

As someone who works within the events industry, I interviewed several wedding planners searching for someone I knew could handle the details that I could not. Tionna came recommended from a friend and within 15 minutes I knew I needed her to be our planner. As we were already spending a lot of money on other parts of our wedding, my husband questioned if we truly needed a planner. During the 90 days of details process and after our wedding we both have not stopped gushing about how incredible Wedicity is to anyone that will listen. There are not enough words in a review space to express how essential she was to our day. Every little detail that I thought of, Tionna and her team had already taken care of. Every vendor that I contacted on my own had already gotten details and information from Tionna, nothing for me to do! I even tossed in a last minute surprise at the wedding for my husband and it was like riding a bike for her. If you’re deciding whether or not it’s worth it to hire a wedding planner, stop right now. It’s worth it and Wedicity is the best of the best. After the first call with Kristina, our “90 Days Out” package had already paid for itself. Kristina is hyper-organized, conscientious, patient, flexible, kind and always had our best interest in mind. She came prepared to each conversation with questions, follow-ups, and tasks that kept us organized and on our toes. She was always quick to respond via email and text and was quick to answer every one of our questions. Wedicity uses an incredibly comprehensive planning site with every possible to-do you can think of (which there were many we never considered). Kristina was an expert at prioritizing items that were important to us and ensuring every personal touch would be perfect the day of. When asked for her opinion, Kristina always gave her honest and professional one and was a tremendous guide every step of the way. She took over all our communication with our vendors and immediately streamlined the entire planning process. We had a confusing and challenging relationship with one of our vendors that Kristina took care of without hesitation. The day of our wedding, Kristina and the Wedicity team (Giovanna and Camille) were top. notch. I started working with Wedicity about a year before our wedding - and right from the start Tionna put my fears at ease and reassured me that everything was on track. We just got married July 16th, 2022 and hired Tionna and Camille to help plan our wedding....I mean, just wow. These ladies are unstoppable. Our wedding day could not have been more seamless because they were behind it. We did the 90 Days of Detail plan with them, and from the get-go they quickly familiarize themselves with your vendors, your vision, and the tiniest of details. Amongst the madness that is the wedding industry, they never stuttered, looked flustered, or gave us any impression that things were crazy (which, they were because myself and my family changed our minds every 5 seconds!!). They took every new bit of news with grace and a smile. Not to mention, they are just lovely people all around. When I caught glimpses of them at the ceremony rehearsal or even before the reception started, I truly felt instantly calm knowing they had everything under control! After the reception was over, I couldn't find my wedding shoes (took them off before the dance floor) the card box, my flowers, all these things that I just kind of thought (hoped) we'd find in the morning. Wedicity grabbed everything and put it in my hotel room at some point in the night. They also straightened the entire room (cleaned it up from the morning of getting ready with my bridesmaids) and dropped tons of real, beautiful rose petals on the floor and on the bed. It was such a treat at the end of the night. Just one of the many ways they went above and beyond. Hiring Wedicity was probably the best decision we made in planning our sequel wedding! Due to the pandemic, my husband and I had a small ceremony and dinner in 2021 but wanted to plan a larger, more “traditional” wedding celebration in 2022. Enter Wedicity. Tionna and Giovanna came up with a stellar design for our celebration after only a couple conversations and questionnaires. They were able to capture the aesthetic and vibe we were looking for so well! Giovanna was so responsive, professional, helpful, patient, kind, organized, etc. etc. – the list goes on and on! Even when it came down to the wire and we had to come up with a last-minute contingency seating plan (literally decided two days before!), it was as smooth as it could be! As a highly organized person who already hired all the vendors, I initially resisted the idea of a day-of planner. Worth Every Penny! As MoG, it pained me so to see how the "kids" were struggling in the early planning stages. They work full time and have a puppy (from hell, I might add). I suggested, nudged and pleaded for them to consider hiring a planner. Finally, when I said I would sponsor it, they were on board. Our sanity was saved! Tionna with super back up help from Giovanna assured we would have a perfect wedding weekend. Everything went off without incident. I don't think there was a single hiccup. It was simply splendid.

As a very organized person, I did not think I needed a day of coordinator for my wedding but I was totally mistaken! Tionna and Samantha were essential to make sure our day ran smoothly. No matter your budget, I will ALWAYS recommend to anyone planning a wedding to get a planner. There is SO MUCH you don't think about - which is not your fault if you don't plan weddings all the time!
