Weinrich's Bakery

Weinrich makes exceptional cakes and cupcakes. Perfect for your wedding. My husband and I used weinrich for our wedding and we got everything we asked for. We have been using weinrich for years and they continue to proper excellent service and the best cakes I have ever had!

Honestly I was a little disappointed in my experience with Weinrich bakery. When I called 2 days before to confirm my cake order before my wedding, I was on hold for about 15 min. While they tried to locate the order. Also I’ve seen some beautiful cakes that come from this bakery but I feel as if ours was rushed. Also it was very dry.

We had our first tasting here and, unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. After showing us to the tasting area, they forgot about us for 15 minutes. When my mom went back around to the counter to ask, they had not told the woman who was supposed to be taking care of us that we were there. When she did come out with the cakes, the plate was set up for 2, but my fiance had called earlier in the week, as he had been instructed by the bakery, and changed it to 4, which he said to her. She went back to get us more cake and, after another 15 minutes, my dad went to check on her. They told him that my fiance should have called earlier in the week and, when my dad informed them that he had, one of the girls working there said she had spoken to him and hadn't written it down. When the first woman came back with the extra tasting plate, it was a mess. The tasting itself was okay. The cakes were a little dry, but their chocolate buttercream is to die for. When we asked about what cakes were included with our venue, she showed us 8 designs that were either boring or garish and informed us that any fillings, cake flavor changes, or color changes (like an ombre) would be an upcharge of anywhere from 25 cents to a dollar per serving, depending on how much we changed. In the end, she apologized for the confusion and told us that this never happens and that it must be because they have a lot of high school girls working for them. Needless to say, they will not be making our wedding cake.

We loved this bakery! I brought a picture of a simple idea I had to the bakery and they made it perfectly. The cake and frosting is amazing!
