During the ceremony he got photos of all of the details I had spent months planning. He knows what photos you want and will take them while you party, it’s great! am. They captured the moments I had forgotten in the emotion of the day, and had obviously worked tirelessly to tell our complete wedding celebration story. We now have the completed wedding album, along with the video and several individual photos for framing. Everything is of the highest quality, and the album is beyond our expectations. It is a beautiful keepsake. Robert was always accessible by phone for consulting and gave knowledgeable advice throughout the process. We live in NH, so that was extremely helpful. By the way, the video is superb; it's clear that the videographer paid attention to all the important details, and was able to convey the rhythm and feeling of the day, not just a random series of events. Lisa was with me and my girls in our hotel room while we were getting ready while Robert was with the guys. Lisa was so very sweet and was very good about telling me to relax. When I went to go do something she would tell me to stop and enjoy my day and she would do it for me or get one of my girls to help me LOL! They were both very professional and kept everything on pace even when it was getting difficult to rally everyone together for pictures after the ceremony. I received my pictures probably a week and half to two weeks after our wedding which I was shocked how fast the turn around time was. I LOVED MY PICTURES!!! They turned out so beautifully, I was showing them to everyone and everyone loved them. They were able to capture the magic and love, and of course fun of our big day. The photo package I purchased came with a photo album, and I just received it in the mail a week ago and it is beautiful! The quality and artistry of the album is unmatched and will be a wonderful keepsake for years to come. Not only was I pleased with all of our pictures I was just all around pleased with Robert and Lisa as individuals. They made the whole process so easy, I would send an email and I would get a response quickly and thoroughly answered. I would even get answers to un-asked questions because they would slip my mind because Robert is that good. The professionalism and curtesy was such a breath of fresh air. I can not sing the praises of Welch Photography enough. I recommend anyone looking for a photographer to go with Welch. ding to touch base, and we also talked and emailed several times in the weeks leading up to the event, to give him a better awareness of the people in the wedding party, the family of both the bride and groom, etc. He asked/ requested information about any special shots that we wanted, any group shots that were particularly important to us, and other critical information. He arrived early and stayed late and worked tirelessly throughout the ceremony and reception to provide both staged and candid shots of us, our families, and our friends. Robert was a consummate professional, and his work was outstanding. He gave us both traditional and classic, and creative and off-the-cuff. He worked with us every step of the way, even when there were a few unplanned moments (i.e., an ambulance had to be called for one of our guests). We are still not sure how Robert managed to get all the shots that he did, because it felt like we barely ever saw him, and yet he was everywhere, snapping away and providing a beautiful result! Within a day or two of returning from our honeymoon, Robert had already provided a link to digital copies of our photos and a CD of the NUMEROUS (more than 800 images, for a relatively small wedding) images he had captured. In addition, I know friends and colleagues who have used the services of Welch Photography & Video for weddings and other events, and not one person has a bad word to say about him. So, in a nutshell, if you are having a wedding or other special event in the Greater New Orleans area, give Welch Photography a call to discuss your special day - you won't be disappointed!!!

Robert was familiar with the venue/park and was able to give us great advice! It's hard planning a wedding 3 hours away, and Robert made everything easy on us and worked around our busy schedules. Last but not least, the photo time turnaround was literally 2 weeks! He mailed extra photo CDs for my mom and MIL which was great. Surprisingly, everything on my wedding day went smoothly and Robert Welch Photography was a huge part of that. He was prompt, professional, and always available to answer any question I had prior to the big day. I would recommend him to anyone planning a New Orleans wedding!

My only complaint is that we did not take one large group photo of the entire wedding party together. Due to space constraints in the pre-ceremony photo location, we took bridesmaid and groomsmen photos separately; extended family pictures at the venue and after the ceremony.
