Mr. Robert did my engagement shoot as well as wedding day coverage and he was great! He gave clear direction and made sure I was able to get all photos I wanted without taking photos all throughout the reception. I was actually able to enjoy my wedding. My photos came out so beautiful and he got some great candid shots! He was professional, on time, and just all around amazing !!

He was super helpful throughout the whole process and took charge when I was swept up in the chaos of the reception. He caught some of the most precious moments on film, and I'm so grateful. I don't think there is anything negative that I can say. Robert and his team were consummate professionals. Any questions we had before and after our wedding were answered quickly and always polite and respectful. Robert and his team took the most wonderful photos for us and were not intrusive or hindering to the ceremony. We received our digital photo album to search through soon after our wedding, ordering prints and finalizing our album was a breeze. Our pictures are amazing!!! Welch Photography is the best! Robert was so easy to work with, even adding on videography for me at the last minute. The pictures all came out amazing and we got them all back in less than a week. I would definitely recommend Welch Photography.

Robert was great. We changed our venue and he traveled out of state to capture our day and he was very punctual and professional. Our pictures turned out great and I love how he captured the off guard moments that really conveyed the mood of the whole day.

So professional and so accommodating even during Covid times! I would recommend them to anyone, very happy with everything!

We couldn’t leave 10 stars. But if we could, we would have. Robert was the absolutely best. Every shot i asked for, i received. He made the day so much easier than expected and you didn’t even know he was there! If we ever need pictures done again we will definitely use him.

I can’t emphasize how professional and great Robert was at our wedding! We had to reschedule our original date because of Covid-19 and couldn’t have a reception, however Robert was completely accommodating throughout the entire process. I couldn't be happier with my wedding photos. Robert was a pleasure to work with, great turn-around time to all my questions and concerns. Robert is awesome! He offers many packages and even one that includes video which we decided on! Robert did my daughters engagements, as well as bridals at my son in law’s home. The bridal portrait that we displayed at the wedding venue was breath taking! We were so happy with the number of photos that we had to choose from too! Pictures came out beautiful! Robert and his team were so easy to work with! He was very responsive whenever I had a question or need to confirm my bridals or day of pictures! Easy communication with vendors reduces so much stress. I also needed a photographer to give me direction on how to stand, which way to turn, and how to hold my flowers and Robert was able to do that. We were on a tight schedule for the wedding day and Robert was able to fit in a lot of photos within the business. The photos inside the church came out beautiful. My mother has basically ordered the entire catalog of wedding photos!

Robert is the best! We used his services when planning my mom's wedding at Jackson Square. After the ceremony we did a second line to the restaurant for the reception. The photos that he took came out absolutely beautiful! They are so stunning! The ones of the couple in the middle of the park and during the second line look like they belong in a magazine! Great work, he is very good at what he does. Robert is also very quick to respond and gives good advice. If you are looking for someone you should use his services.

Robert and his staff are amazing through every step of the process from our engagement photos to "I do," all of the way through the end of the reception. My husband and I do not live in New Orleans and are quite possibly the busiest people alive and Robert went out of his way to accomodate our chaotic schedules and helped us have a relaxing care free wedding day. It was pouring rain the day of our scheduled engagement session. Robert still arrived to meet us and we had such a fun time shooting. He is truly magical with his shots. It was pouring rain and some how between storms he captured the most perfect shots. Our wedding day was even better. After seeing some of Robert's photography work, I had decided that he was who I wanted to photograph my wedding. I actually got to meet him beforehand at a bridal show in New Orleans. My wedding was at the Louisiana Castle in Franklinton, LA and I wanted someone that was already familiar with the venue as I thought it would make it easier as they knew the layout, lighting, etc. I couldn't have been more pleased. I didn't really have any specifics just let him do his job as he's the expert! I did ask for a few extra outside shots of us and they came out amazing! My wedding was very small but he captured it beautifully. Highly recommend Robert and his company Welch Photography & Video!

We love our wedding photos! Robert Welch photographed our wedding at the Hotel Mazarin in Sept. 2017 and he did not disappoint. We were planning our wedding from out of town and Robert was incredibly easy to work with; everything we agreed to and discussed in advance rang true on the day of the wedding and thereafter. Robert photographed our daughter's wedding June 18th. He was very responsive and easy to work with during the entire process. We live in Virginia and organized the event easily via email and phone conversations. The day of he was on time and always in the right spot. We are very happy with his work. Robert Welch did the photography for my daughter's wedding, March 2017. He was very accommodating and easy to work with. He faded to black, (we hardly noticed him), but managed to get hundreds of great photos full of candid shots. The proofs were ready very quickly online, plus we were mailed a CD. We used Robert Welch for our Wedding Weekend in New Orleans. We had him photograph our rehearsal dinner on June 2, 2017. I didn’t want to have to worry about getting photos of everyone. I also didn’t want to have to have a phone in my hand in all of the photos that others take throughout the night. He was great and took a ton of candids as well as family photos at the end of the event. He got photos of everything, and stuff I hadn’t even thought of taking photos of but now that I have them I am so happy he got those moments. He was super easy to work with and it was great to be able to have him photograph both evenings. He photographed our June 3, 2017 wedding as well. We got ready at The Columns Hotel in New Orleans and he was able to get great reveal shots and great shots in the beautiful hotel. We then went over to the Audubon Zoo where we were having the ceremony and reception. We got many photos all over the zoo. It was easy and stress free. During the ceremony he got photos of all of the details I had spent months planning. He knows what photos you want and will take them while you party, it’s great! The photos look amazing and Robert was super easy to work with. I highly recommend Welch Photography.

Even though I am from Louisiana, I got married 3 hours from my home town. I had no idea on wedding photographers around the area in which I chose to get married.
