We stayed at the Wellsworth for our wedding weekend along with our bridal party and guests as part of a room block. We also had our rehearsal dinner the night before here and we co...
uldn’t be happier with our entire stay. Coordinating all the details for the room block and dinner were so easy with Torey’s help, and big shout out to Luke and Mel for their incredible service and attention to detail all weekend!
We had our wedding in Spencer, MA (30 minute ride) and hosted our hotel room block here. Big, clean rooms. They were responsive and great with our planning process, the block, ro...
om bags, hosting an after party in the lounge and breakfast the next morning. They have a courtyard as well that was perfect to hang out in with corn hole.
I can't say enough about the staff!! They were so wonderful to us and the service was great!!! A large number of my guests stayed here, the ones that traveled from out of state and...
the wedding party, and they were beyond accommodating! They helped hand out welcome bags, made sure our rooms were perfect every day!! We got stranded here, due to a blizzard with 30 inches of snow, and they were beyond accommodating for us. They had wonderful daily messages for our group on their message board. Loved them all!!! Great place and HIGHLY recommended. Food and rooms are spectacular, as are the amenities!
Southbridge Hotel and Conference Center was the perfect choice for our wedding reception! The grounds are beautiful and the marble staircase inside is a great backdrop for formal p...
hotos. My husband and I did the majority of our planning long distance from North Carolina and they were incredibly accommodating of our limited scheduling opportunities. We worked with Lisa during the beginning planning stages and she was very nice and easy to work with. Our menu tasting was a great experience and they went all out, really helping us understand what our guests would be enjoying.
For the remainder of the process we worked with John and Jennifer and they were AMAZING! The took care of every little detail we could possibly think of and even some that never occurred to us. The hotel took care of setting up all of our stuff including photos, place cards, favors as well as the normal room set us and they worked seamlessly with our outside vendors as well.
John and Jennifer met with us a few days before the wedding and went over all the details to make sure we were ok with the schedule and gave us helpful advice on how to keep things running smoothly at the reception. Our wedding was the weekend of the Pan Mass Challenge bike race but the hotel did not let that chaos affect our day at all. Nate Lucier at the front desk even went out of his way to help book me a suite the night before the wedding (even though the room was previously booked) so that my bridal party would have somewhere with enough room to get ready and I wouldn't have to deal with any extra travel stress the morning of our wedding.
Our reception was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, and the timing between courses was perfect. Everything looked beautiful, all our items were arranged perfectly and John and Jennifer took care of everything we, or our guests needed.
My wedding recption was perfect and completely stress free. I would recommend Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center to anyone planning a wedding in central Massachusetts. My husband and I, and our guests had a wonderful experience and John Baylies, Jennifer Harwich-Vaughan & Lisa Casiano were absolutely wonderful to work with!
