Ryan is the owner of Wemberly Hills and proudly purchased the course in 2025. He is married and a father of three boys, and grew up just outside Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. By profession, Ryan is a full-time civil engineer specializing in transportation design, a background that brings thoughtful planning, organization, and attention to detail into everything he does at the course.
A lifelong golfer, Ryan immediately recognized Wemberly Hills as a hidden gem—far more than just a small-town 9-hole course. He saw its natural beauty, potential for meaningful gatherings, and the opportunity to create something special for the community. Since acquiring the property, Ryan has been focused on thoughtfully growing Wemberly Hills while preserving its character, charm, and welcoming atmosphere.
Beyond Wemberly Hills, Ryan is passionate about the future of the game of golf and the role local courses play in bringing people together. His long-term vision is to help preserve and revitalize small-town golf courses, ensuring they remain places where families, friends, and communities can gather for generations to come. At Wemberly Hills, Ryan takes pride in working closely with each couple, offering flexibility, care, and a personal approach to help bring their wedding vision to life.

tations; the best of the four public courses in the area that I played in the past week. The greens are challenging (firm and quick) yet most fairways are pretty fair and open for high handicappers who won’t lose a ton of balls here. Rates are cheap and a good value. I’d definitely go back. It’s not a high end course but the best you will get in this price range.

Had a great time at the new Potuck Golf Club playing through all 9 holes. Laid back vibe with friendly staff and great burgers, wings and salads at the new restaurant in the club house!
