Wendell Powell is simply the best. When we started the wedding planning for our daughter's wedding, my husband said, "We have to have Douglas. He's the only one who takes good pict...
ures of me." Douglas and Jill were there with us through the engagement photos, the bridal portrait and the fabulous pictures from the wedding. During the pandemic, they were trying to work creatively so that my daughter could have her portrait done in a timely manner during the coronavirus pandemic. Because hair salons were among the last to receive permission to open, we couldn't schedule her sitting for her portrait until two weeks prior to the wedding. The portrait was ready in time for the reception! Ceremony and reception pictures were fabulous, masks and all. Douglas and Jill were great to work with from beginning to end. I would highly recommend them.
Douglas and his team are simply the best there is, and we cannot thank them enough for perfectly capturing our wedding day! The photos are simply phenomenal and Douglas and Jill ma...

Still get sad thinking about the quality of my wedding photos, and the unprofessional photographer I had to frequently track down at my wedding to capture moments. So disappointed....
Photography was one of my top priorities, so we had budgeted to spend quite a bit in this category. I was very pleased working with Douglas and Fran. They have given me beautiful...
engagement photos, bridal portraits, and wedding photos to treasure for the rest of my life! The amount of attention given to my husband and me throughout the process was totally worth every penny!
We worked with Doug and he was AMAZING!! He did my bridal portrait prior to the wedding and the shots were amazing, my only complaint was that we had a hard time choosing between a...
ll of the shots he took.
The day of the wedding, Doug got all of the shots we said were important to us and he made the picture taking fun and painless. Prior to the wedding Doug mapped out our route from the church to the reception to pick out a few different locations to take pictures.
I would definitely recommend Wendell Powell to anyone looking for a photographer. They are great to work with and their work speaks for itself. Our pictures came out AMAZING!!!
Norm did a tremendous job of organizing everyone and remembering names. Fabulous photos!
After forgeting to order the bridal portrait to display at the reception, they turned it around in less than 2 days so that I could have it. Norman was a great day of photographer,...
and he was able to truly capture the events and excitement of the day.
Norm was the best photographer! He really got to know all of us and tried to call all my family by name. He was really good with the little kids too! The pictures were beautiful...

We used Wendell Powell because I'd worked with them when I, myself, was a wedding coordinator/attendant. We chose to use Norman, and I cannot put into words how much of a great job...
he did. He did the work of 5 photographers and had fun with all the guests. He made sure we had everything documented and made sure we were all having fun in the pictures!
