Wendi exceeded our expectations! From the moment we had our first conversation, I knew she would be the perfect match to capture our wedding photos. On our wedding day, we were running behind, but Wendi remained calm and professional the entire time. She knew exactly where to go to get the best pictures and kept us on schedule. She also guided us through poses, which was incredibly helpful since my husband and I are not the most photogenic. I cannot thank her enough for her patience and expertise on our special day. To top it off, we received a preview of our photos the very next day, which was truly amazing! My photos turned out absolutely beautiful and I can’t thank her enough. A dream photographer to have by your side. Wendi has an amazing eye - taking backgrounds that anyone else would find drab or uninteresting and finding a was to make them stunning. She had such creative ideas for our rather spontaneous wedding. My husband and I expected the photoshoot to be tedious and uncomfortable, but Wendi has us feeling so at ease and we had FUN. We didn't have much time, but never felt that, as she was able to make things move so smoothly and took time in all the right places, we were always perfectly on schedule. During the wedding she was able to capture beautiful memories and shots of such precious moments (that still have everyone in awe). Again, she had photo-awkward people so relaxed and getting through the family/group pictures was an absolute breeze. Truly a professional - quick with solutions, clear instructions for chaotic crowds while being so friendly -everyone loved her! The results Wendi gave us were STUNNING, but the her support as an overwhelmed couple on our wedding day has us just as grateful!!

Wendi was the most amazing photographer ever! She did both our engagement shoot and our wedding, and was really fun to work with. All of our pictures are stunning, and I don't even have them all yet! She brought an assistant to get multiple angles on every shot, and was amazing corralling the bridal party for photos. She is so creative and makes everyone look beautiful. Hire Wendi, you won’t regret it! She did both our engagement pictures as well as wedding. She is so easy to work with and has a great personality to make the day fun. I love that she was always prepared and already had ideas so that she could direct the shoot. Wendi was amazing for us, definitely the best vendor we had for our wedding day! She is very fun and easy to work with, she did a very good job of being efficient and not wasting time with group pictures (since there's only so much on your wedding day) and she also took great quality photos. Choosing Wendi was by far one of my best decisions we made. The first time I spoke to her on the phone I felt an immediate connection and could feel her passion for capturing magical moments. Coming up to the wedding she helped me organize the day and plan it to me and my husband's desires. The day of she made us feel like we were the most confident people on Earth! We felt so comfortable. My husband is usually shy to the camera and he felt that Wendi's energy was extremely contagious and made the experience so much easier and enjoyable for him. Wendi did our engagement photos and our wedding! We can't say enough great things about her! A true testament is that one of our bridal party loved Wendi's work so much too that when she got engaged the following month, she hired Wendi too! Having less than four months to plan everything, Wendi was incredible at discussing details, going over ideas, checklists, truly hearing our vision and what was important to us. The photos she took during our engagement and wedding mean the world to us and capture us so well (and we hate being photographed!). We used many of the photos already for thank you cards, our Christmas card and gave as gifts. We are using Wendi for new family photos and maternity photos as we have a puppy and are having a baby girl later this year. If Wendi is available for your date, highly recommend locking her in while you can!!

Absolutely we would recommend Wendi Curtis for any photography needs! Her personality and energy was perfect to keep everyone engaged on our wedding day, which also made it easier to get a lot of great photos within a set timeframe. She's very good at time management and estimating how long she will need. I thought we weren't going to have enough time for all that we were going to do, but she was spot on with timing and we were in place for our grand entrance ahead of schedule. If she thinks of an idea, just go with it... seriously! Wendi has a great creative eye and you won't regret trusting her advice! We hired her for our wedding and engagement session and we can't wait to have her again when we have a family!

Wendi has been amazing to work with. We originally booked her for our wedding in 2020 and decided to postpone until 2021. Wendi was so accommodating and understanding through the entire process. Originally, we weren't going to do engagement pictures but I am so glad we did! Our pictures turned out amazing! Wendi walked around Chicago with us and made sure we had all of the shots that we wanted and they are perfect! She had a very quick turn around and got our pictures back to us within a few weeks! It was so nice to have someone from home when you're in a new place. She made us feel comfortable! When I had to reschedule my wedding for a second time due to the wedding venue going out of business, Wendi again was so accommodating and changed our date, again. She even went as far as sending us other venues that she's worked at as places for us to look at as well as makeup and hair suggestions when I quickly became desperate. When it came to our wedding, Wendi made sure we had all of the shots we wanted. When it came to ceremony pictures or those big moments, she captured them perfectly without being seen. She makes sure she is out of the way of your guests and made our day go off so smoothly. We got our wedding day preview 2 days after our wedding and our full album 2-3 weeks later! I could not recommend Wendi enough, you will not be disappointed!

Wendi Curtis was a wonderfully talented photographer for our daughter's winter wedding. There are so many photographers who display their work online, it was hard to choose. I cannot say enough good things about Wendi! She is a true pro in every sense of the word. She took the time to ask questions and get to know us and get a feel for what we wanted for our photos. She did an amazing job on our engagement photos, even travelling into Chicago and spending time going to all the locations we wanted and were special to us. Even after getting food poisoning the night before our wedding, she showed up on our wedding day with a smile on her face and ready to go, she didn't skip a beat. We had a preview of about 60-70 photos on FB within 2 days of our wedding, and had all photos in a month. If I had to do it all again, I would choose her everytime! My best friend and sister in law is also using her!

Wendi Curtis did our wedding in March - it was 30 degree day during the polar vortex. It was absolutely freezing and she was INCREDIBLE!! She found beautiful photo spots for us and our very large party. My husband and I had a wedding party of 20 people and she was so good with arranging all of us, and wasting no time. She kept track of the shecedule and stuck to it - so I did not have to check (stress over) the time. Wendi Curtis photographed my wedding, as well as my 3 sisters. She has done multiple family photo sessions with my large family in all seasons of the year and has done an amazing job. Wendi was great photographing our wedding! Beforehand she met with us to go over a day of time frame which was great because I had no knowledge of how to fit in all the things I wanted and needed for the day and she essentially helped plan the whole day so I could let other vendors know as well! She did well day of getting all the shots we needed and keeping us on time! Overall I am so happy with our photos and simply love to look at them all the time! I highly recommend Wendi! She is extremely easy to interact with and flexible if you live on a tight schedule. I really appreciated her experience and knowledge related to weddings and found her extremely helpful in planning the details of my perfect wedding! We did not have a videographer for our wedding and I don’t regret that choice as Wendi provided me with a wide variety of beautiful images from our special day. She is very creative to stage photos but I am so pleased with the amount of natural in the moment images that were captured as well.
