Wendy is absolutely amazing! She is every brides dream on a wedding day. She is so sweet, calm, and such a fresh breath of air. She was exactly what I needed. She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable! And the fact she uses film I just loved. You can definitely tell Wendy takes great passion in her work. Her pictures turned out absolutely amazing. I just love them so much! Thank you wendy!

Wendy’s creative eye, style & approach to photography and the use of film are why I wanted her to shoot my wedding day. Her photos look like they are straight out of a magazine. She was one of the first vendors I secured once the wedding date was set. She is easy to talk to, responded to e-mails quickly & even helped set us up with a VW bus to take us to our reception. During the day of the wedding she made us feel comfortable & always gave direction. We shot at various locations throughout the day, but never felt like we were being pulled away from our guests. I get teary-eyed when I look through my photos. I am truly happy with the finished product. I can’t thank her enough. I hope to work with Wendy again.

“WOW” pretty much sums up Wendy Laurel and her work. Just one look at Wendy’s portfolio on her website and I absolutely fell in love with her style. Such beautiful soft photos playing with color and light. Wendy captured all the love and aloha spirit on our special wedding day in Maui. She was a pleasure to communicate and to work with in the months and days leading up to our wedding day. She arrived to our hotel resort on time to capture our “getting ready” photos. She made myself, the groom, and the wedding party feel at ease in front of the camera. Wendy guided us and positioned us throughout the day to get best shots possible. The photo package we selected included a second shooter, Jeffrey, and he was equally as nice as well. During our wedding reception, we had some rain blessings which prevented us from taking some bride and groom portrait shots with the sunset, however Wendy contacted us the day after the wedding to offer to take a few more portraits of the newlyweds with the sun setting along the beach. That was a very kind gesture of her, and unexpected, as I’m not sure if any other photographer could be as sweet and thoughtful as her. I've heard that couples often wait a few months to see their wedding photos, however we received our wedding day images exactly one month after our wedding day, and they were oh so amazing! When you book Wendy you get way more than just a wedding photographer. Wendy is a true immensely talented artist who just happens to use her gift as a wedding photographer. She gives lots of fun guidance while shooting and made us feel comfortable. Even my husband didn't mind taking all the photos because it all felt natural and really showed in the ohotos. For me, choosing a photographer was the most important part of our wedding and I can't possibly begin to thank Wendy enough for capturing our day.
