BUT when it comes to the most important moment in your life that you want to remember, the last thing you want is a blurry picture or stale shot that makes you grimace. I wanted to see my photos and feel only joy at the great day we had. Wendy did that for us. She was quick to respond to all my questions, made sure to get all the shots I wanted, and provided a full set of photos in high resolution so I could print them. We also have an online gallery to share with friends and family. I have received so many complements on my photos and her style at the wedding. She was never in the way or rude to people to get a shot. It was like having a great friend take your photos. She knew where to be and when, but had fun while doing it. Anybody can buy a camera but it takes a true eye for beauty to be a great photographer and she certainly has it down. I could not recommend anyone else. If you want the best, you want Wendy. Plain and simple. But do book early as she is so fantastic that she books up rather quickly.

ptions to make sure we would have her when we knew the date for sure. She was very responsive and professional leading up to the wedding. The day of the wedding, she was very easy (and fun!) to work with and got every shot we asked her to get. After the wedding we remembered that we hadn't asked her to shots of a couple random things that we wanted but when we got our pictures we realized that she had gotten them anyway. Most importantly, the pictures were fabulous!

Wendy had taken for a couple along the shore of the lake. I immediately fell in love with her pictures and sent her a contact email that very day. We hired her for our engagement photo session, our rehearsal dinner, and our wedding! Wendy Mitchell blew us away with the photos from all three events. I am SOOOOOO HAPPY we picked Wendy as our photographer. She is beyond talented. Her pictures went way beyond just capturing visual snapshots....her eye and the way she captures photos makes you able to FEEL the event -- the weather, the mood, the light, the emotion...she is somehow able to capture it all in her pictures. Years from now I will be able to look back at the year I got married and truly remember exactly what that exciting and emotional and joyous time felt like because Wendy's pictures captured it so well. And that's just her photos. Wendy is phenomenal to work with. She is organized, yet very laid back. She is not intrusive in any way, yet she is able to capture all of the little details of the event. She made even our most camera-shy guests feel comfortable. She was AWESOME about getting every single picture on my "checklist" even though I know she really likes to be more spontaneous than that. Wendy ran around town the day of our wedding from location to location to location -- she kept to the schedule and captured every group, setting, sight, person and event that I asked for. She was timely in getting our blog up and getting our album and discs to us. Heck -- she had emailed me a few "sneak peek" pictures within a few hours of our events!!!

No money coming in and decided to set up a Give Forward account. Within days of setting up the account Wendy donated. Wendy does not know me or my son but there she was donating to help prefect strangers. In my eyes she is a Awesome person and a Wonderful Photographer !!!

Buffalo, NY is home. Wendy was flexible and understanding when it came to booking our engagement session. We were only in town for a short time and the weather called for rain all day. Wendy offered suggestions on ideas that we could do if the rain did not let up and she eased my mind that the photos would still come out amazing! Somehow, as we were on our way to the shoot, umbrella in hand, it cleared up and the sun even came out! We are not fans of having our picture taken and Wendy made us feel comfortable and we ended up having a lot of fun. Our pictures turned out beautiful and they were a true reflection of us & she really captured our personalities. I am so, so, so excited for our wedding and my mind is at ease knowing the our wedding photos will turn out perfect! Do yourself a favor and book Wendy for your wedding! She will not disappoint! :)

s our photographer! We never met with anyone else because she was exactly what we are looking for. Not only was she amazing with the photography, but she offered insight into other aspects of the wedding that no one else did. She was so helpful and accommodating. The photography was the one piece of the wedding that we were going to splurge on and it was well worth it. It's only been a couple of months and we already have an amazing online gallery that other people we shared the gallery with can order prints from and our CD package. We also did an engagement session with Wendy from which she made a gorgeous guest book for the wedding. She took the time to learn the names of our wedding party and family. She very professional and friendly while we were doing our posed pictures. She got so many different views of the actual ceremony. The only regret I have about my pictures is we didn't get enough variety of posed pictures of just my husband and myself and of the rest of the wedding party(our fault for not enough time!). I would and do recommend Wendy to everyone I know who is planning a wedding. We couldn't imagine having any one else as our photographer!

ugh her pictures. She is very friendly and easy to get a long with. Wendy really knows how to go with the flow but also gets quality pictures while doing it... My family and friends couldn't believe how well she photographed...She has great turn around with her photos... We got both our engagement and wedding photos back within one month... We were amazed at how well she worked with us, the wedding party, the church, and the people in charge at the reception venue to make sure everything was going smoothly. The end results were nothing short of phenomenal, and we proudly display our wedding pictures to all our friends and family. She was also very responsive to any picture requests we had, whether they be formal or fun shots on the fly, as well as providing great suggestions. Wendy was also very prompt at getting the pictures up online for viewing, as well as printing our wedding book, not to mention she has very reasonable prices. I also want to state that we planned our wedding form out-of-state, and Wendy made the process very easy for us. She also happens to be a wonderful, down to earth and extremely professional person. We felt comfortable around her right away. She did our engagement photos as well as our wedding. our planning, DIY projects and seating arrangements mean nothing that day. you will never have time to fix your makeup or properly thank people they way you really want to or make sure everything is set up according to your plan. all you have are these frozen moments in time. the moments when you catch you groom smiling at you and you did not even know it that make you fall in love all over again! not anyone can capture these moments for you... your uncles best friends work friend has no business taking your wedding pictures because at the end of the day these beautiful pictures are all you have to remind you of all the love and happiness that day has brought you. in 5, 10 or 30 years when you are looking at your husband and you just wanna smack him for not unloading the dishwasher (or whatever stupid thing that ticks you off lol) you will have wedding photos that remind you of how he looked so lovingly at you on your wedding day or that time when your dad and your flower girl dance while she stands on his toes. these are moments you will never get back and the right photographer is key to really capture not only the picture but the mood surrounding it. i have not even seen all of my wedding pictures yet but the love that fills my heart when i see what is in this blog overwhelms me. we have truly picked the best photographer who was fun and sweet and really understood me and Scott and took the most perfect pictures that really capture what we mean to each other. there are no words to thank her Wendy Mitchell has taken our wedding day and made it last a lifetime and we our forever grateful!!!

screte at your wedding, too- I dare you to even realize she's there and somehow she has all these CRAZY AMAZING photographs and no recollection of her even having been at the wedding at all. She can be a little gruff when discussing budget, but she probably has to fight for the worth of her profession every day. My friends have also booked her for their weddings based on my pictures and that speaks for itself. Anyway- book her. You won't regret it.
