n in Riverside. Like all brides I wanted my hair to be perfect, but most of all timeless and flawless. I was extremely fortunate to have found Wendy. Refered by a friend of mine, she described Wendy as not just a hair/ makeup person, but a true artist. Wendy definitely lived up to the title. She was professional, reliable, well organized and most of all positive energy. Wendy arrived at the Mission Inn hotel early in the morning to do my hair and makeup. She made sure we had plenty of time and I never felt rushed. I had my hair half up and half down along with a cathedral veil for the ceremony. In my opinion my hair was perfect. Of course with my luck as soon as I got in to the limo to make the 30 minute trip to the church my parents and I soon discovered the air conditioning wasn’t working. It took everything I had not to freak out. I was sweating to death. My poor dad had the duty of fanning my mom and I with whatever he could find, including holding my bouquet. I quickly forgot Wendy’s instructions not to lean on my hair in the car. By the time I reached the church I got out of the limo looking like a hot sweaty mess with flat hair. Don’t worry ladies Wendy saved the day!! As soon as I stepped into the bridal room I had no time to freak out. Wendy had me in a chair ripping off my vail, re-teasing, fluffing and styling my hair. Not to mention retouching my makeup. I looked as if nothing ever happened. After the ceremony she made the trip back to the location of the reception. She completely redid my hair and gave me a gorgeous updo to complement my open back dress and retouched my makeup for more of an evening style. PLUS she stayed with me for ALL my pictures before the reception started. I’m not done yet… I hadn’t had any real crying moments, but once the speeches started at the reception I became a crying mess. Never once did my makeup smear or fade, I remained flawless. I loved the way Wendy made me look and feel. My mom also had her hair/makeup done the day of the wedding. All I can say is my mom now refuses to have her hair/makeup done by anyone other then Wendy. We were so happy with her work that we hired her to do our hair and makeup for my brother’s wedding even though my sister in law had hired another girl. What I love most about Wendy’s makeup is I looked natural and smooth. Not like some girls that look like they have way too much makeup on. Her makeup products and technique were extremely natural and held up in 85+ degree heat. Thank you so much Wendy for making my wedding day perfect!!!
