My husband and I are absolutely thrilled that we chose Wentworth by the Sea Country Club as our wedding venue. From start to finish, our venue coordinator, Jenna, helped bring our dream day to life. She was consistently available throughout the planning process, answering our many questions and helping to ease our stress every step of the way. On the day of the wedding, Jenna and her team ensured everything ran seamlessly and truly went above and beyond—including sprinting to retrieve a missing reading just seconds before we walked down the aisle! The venue itself is breathtaking, and we were fortunate to have a beautiful, sunny day to enjoy it. Our guests were blown away by the stunning views, elegant décor, and delicious food and drinks. I would highly recommend Wentworth by the Sea Country Club to anyone looking for a classic coastal New England wedding with incredible scenery and an unforgettable celebration. Raegan and her team at the Wentworth were wonderful to work with throughout our wedding planning process. We had plenty of questions along the way, and Raegan was always prompt, helpful, and thorough in her responses. On the day of our wedding, Raegan also served as our coordinator and kept everything running smoothly and seamlessly, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy the day. You truly can’t beat the location or scenery of this venue. We received countless compliments from our guests on both the setting and the food, and the flow of the day—from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception—was excellent. My husband and his groomsmen also had an amazing time playing the course the day before our wedding. A couple of notes for prospective couples: the Wentworth has a rule prohibiting drinks on the dance floor. While this did not negatively impact our night, it is strictly enforced by club security and is something couples should be aware of when booking—our guests have mentioned it in almost every conversation when talking about the wedding afterward. (To be very clear, the Wentworth was fully transparent about this policy and communicated it to us in advance of us booking.) Finally, the Wentworth is a private club, so our guests were understandably restricted to certain areas. A few club members, however, were around and not restricted from walking through our reception and even helped themselves to our desserts.

She brings her many years of catering experience & love for weddings to our team. Our couples truly enjoy and feel comfortable knowing they have her support throughout planning their special day. From your initial menu meeting with Jenna, she will guide you through planning the logistics for your wedding day and is there to guide you on the day of. Jenna serves as a great asset to our sales team & our couples are in great hands with her!

Overall, my husband and I had a great experience with Jenna our coordinator. She was amazing and super helpful throughout the planning process. It was raining so we had to move the...

ceremony into the pavillion, and everything went super smoothly. However, this is a country club and the people who work there treated us and family/friends poorly. During our rehearsal, my bridesmaids fiance's waited off to the side. They sat in the lawn chairs and got absolutely screamed at (for sitting in lawn chairs for less than 5 minutes) because they were not members. Pretty disappointing considering the money we paid to get married here. I understand there are "club rules" but to treat my guests as if they were trespassing when we were not even inside the club, was disheartening. We also got a ton of negative feedback that the bartenders were rude and I experienced this myself too. It's not mentioned a ton in conversations but there are no drinks allowed on the dance floor. To my surprise, there was a security guard enforcing this. It's my fault for not looking in to this further, but honestly, it took a way some fun. The security guard was also EXTREMELY rude. These factors aside, the food service was great. The food itself was great and most of the staff were helpful besides the few listed above. It's a gorgeous venue and you can't really beat both ceremony options!

From the beautiful views, incredible rain plan and amazing venue coordinating staff we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. From our very first meeting, Jenna made us feel so comfortable and though I'm type-A and had millions of questions, she had an answer for everything and made me feel at ease all the way through our wedding day. The Wentworth made everything so fun from an incredible tasting, communication while living afar, in-person meetings while in NH and a flawless walkthrough. When it came to the actual wedding, we had the most beautiful day and Jenna made sure we did not have to worry about a single thing. , whether that was not replying to an email in a timely fashion, but moreso not relaying key aspects to us. For example, we were informed less than a week before our wedding that guests could not have a drink of any kind on the dance floor (Not being from NH, we were unaware this was a law). Beyond that, we had a terrific time, and the day of went very smoothly!

Pauline seamlessly processed our numerous design requests and did such a great job making everything the way we envisioned it would be. We received so many complements on the venue and our guests to this day remind us how much fun they had. Our wedding will be a day we never forget and Wentworth helped make it a beautiful memory.

She made sure my husband and I had everything we needed, desserts placed at our seats, food covered to stay warm as we walked around, sunset photos, etc. The venue itself is beautiful beyond words but I left my wedding on July 29th feeling so grateful for Pauline. able to produce digital photos of both my passport and driver's license, I was forced to go back to my hotel (35 mins round trip) to get my ID. When I came back, I showed my ID to the manager but was still carded several more times throughout the evening. I get that the venue has to abide by the law, but I don't get why I was the only one carded or targeted in such a way when I returned. The staff seems confused and evidently unable to communicate with one another.

then. Our parents found the WWBTSCC online and took a tour of the facilities on a cold, rainy day. However, even touring the country club on one of the bleakest days in November, they still knew this was their favorite site. After speaking with our parents and talking with the wedding coordinator we knew we had found our venue. The ceremony overlooks the harbor and the reception is just across the road in a beautiful, spacious tent. They even have a back-up tent all ready to go, in case of rain. Caitlin Sims did a fantastic job contacting us overseas. She helped us every step of the way and made organizing the venue the least stressful part of planning our wedding. From seating arrangements, to incredible food, sparkler send off, to a detailed payment plan, and more - they had us covered. The pictures of the WWBTSCC are gorgeous but it still don't fully capture the beauty of this quaint part of NH. On the day of wedding we had Amy right by our side to make sure we ate, greeted our guests, cut the cake, and had some alone time for photos along the beach as the sun was setting. We were thrilled with our choice of venue and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beach front, picturesque wedding.

Kiersten was our main contact and she answered any and all questions that I had throughout the entire planning process, and was also a great source for vendor/other recommendations. room with a gorgeous view across the ocean that was full of my friends/family. There were close to 40 of us but the room was spacious and comfortable. We did a brunch and the food was great, with a wide variety of options. They didn't rush us through anything and let us enjoy ourselves without being too pushy. I would recommend the Wentworth to anyone planning a shower!!

enues have tents that hold 250+ people. For our small intimate wedding of 70-80 people, these tents were just too big. The Wentworth By The Sea Country Club offers two tents, one that only holds 100 people. It was perfect! Although our wedding was smaller than crowds they are used to, we felt like absolutely royalty! The entire wait staff was attentive and professional. I received so many compliments on the staff from our guests. Also, the wedding coordinators (Kiersten and Amy) were FANTASTIC! I dealt with Kiersten with all the details prior to the wedding, and she was responsive, flexible, and extremely patient. Amy catered to us during the entire reception and ceremony, and she was incredibly professional and attentive. The entire day was absolutely perfect, and I am so glad we chose to go with this wonderful venue!

it. The staff couldn't have been better -- Sylvia Kiely was our initial contact when we booked the country club and then we worked with Kiersten Mayes as we finalized the planning. Kiersten was so patient with all of my questions and really put me at ease that everything was going to run smoothly and that my husband, families, wedding party, and myself didn't have anything to worry about that day. True to her word, everything went off without a hitch! If you're interested in a beautiful oceanside location with an excellent staff and great food, look no further than the Wentworth CC and make sure to book EARLY. We booked about a year and a half in advance, at the advice of my husband's aunt, and it was well worth it!

The only complaint I can think of is that it is pricy when all is chosen and decorated.
