Would give six stars out of five, if possible - - our live music plans for the wedding ceremony fell through at the last minute, and Dylan was able to get our processional and other selections loaded on his setup so the ceremony could still go smoothly. We're so thankful he was there and ready to go!

We used Wesley Works for both DJ and photography services at our wedding in April, with mixed results.
Initially, everything went smoothly—the company was organized and responsive....
However, looking back, there were two red flags that we should have addressed and one afterthought: 1. We didn’t get the opportunity to check in and finalize plans with the actual DJ or photographer the weeks before the wedding. 2. The owner and another employee were the main points of contact for all communication, and we didn’t speak with the actual DJ until about half an hour before our entrances. There seems to be a broken link in the chain from planning to big day. Their online system for managing song selections and photo plans is very user-friendly and makes changes easy. They seem to cut corners and lack the personal touch we experienced from our other vendors. If you decide to work with them, I recommend negotiating a split payment for the photography services—don’t pay in full until they deliver. About 2–3 weeks after the wedding, we emailed them to inquire about the timeline for receiving our photos. Their promotional material guaranteed a three-week turnaround, which was important to us because we wanted to use a professional picture for our thank-you cards. I was told the photographer was going through personal issues, which I completely understand. However, we still had to follow up, and we didn’t receive our pictures until about a month after the wedding—later than promised, but not a huge issue. That evening, my husband and I viewed the online album together on our TV. Most of the pictures were beautiful and we were feeling sentimental as we relived our special day on our one-month anniversary. But as we scrolled through the proofs, we came across a solo photo of one of the DJs, which was odd. Then, we found a second photo of the same DJ giving a thumbs-up over a remembrance table we had set up in honor of family members who couldn't be with us, including one who had recently passed. This put a damper on what was otherwise a memorable evening. We were heartbroken and remain extremely disappointed in Wesley Works. This situation, and their response to it, is why this review isn’t instead, a solid 4-star review. The big question is: why were there any pictures of the DJ in our wedding photo album in the first place? We had to ask them to remove those pictures from the online album to spare our parents the pain before sharing the link with our family. We addressed the issue with the owner, but we didn’t get the courtesy of a call. Their email apology felt dismissive and insincere. It boiled down to, “We’re sorry those pictures made it into the final proofs, but our employees have grandparents too, so it wasn’t meant maliciously” . I won’t go into further detail, but if my manager used my personal life as an excuse for my actions, I’d be mortified. Despite feeling disrespected, my husband and I decided not to ask for a refund, even though we paid in advance, tipped, and fed the staff at our event. We were told that our conversation was constructive, but if we left a negative review, it would be like wearing a scarlet letter. Well, here we are. This is what an ineffective response and disrespect earns you. In conclusion, while Wesley Works may appear professional on the surface, their staff lacks the maturity and professionalism needed for such an important event. We received similar feedback from family and friends who were in attendance.

antastic. We had a crowd that loved to dance and just have a good time. I have a video of our dance floor and Rich saying " this is the best conga line I've ever seen!!" The entire room was full of dancers!! Rich let my guests make the party and kept it going with the perfect songs that he just knew they would want. He checked in with the Groom and I so often and asked us our opinion on everything.
Before the actual day Wesley met with us and planned the entire time line. He was so wonderful and helped us figure out what we wanted so seamlessly. Ultimately, we narrowed our choices down by vibe, price, convenience, and the style of photos on the website. Wesley Works has great competitive/comparable pricing. Shay and Petra were our photographers and Aaron and Chris were our DJs. They all did an amazing job!!! able and organized he is. Working with him was so easy, and he seemed to understand the type of music we wanted played during each part of our day. He was quick to respond to our questions, which we really appreciated.
We met with Wes about a month before the wedding, and had a very detailed meeting about what songs we wanted to hear and the type of music we wanted to hear during the cocktail hour, dinner hour and dancing. We put together a list of downtempo songs for the cocktail and dinner hours. We had requested that the music for dancing be more geared towards 80’s alternative to today, and gave Wes about 7 songs and 5 or so bands that we’d like to hear (Beck, New Order, Susto, Deathcab, etc). My husband and I spent countless hours painstakingly curating our playlist.
After our final meeting, we received a Google document containing our playlists. There were several mistakes which needed to be corrected across multiple iterations. We would send a revised document, only to receive a document for review that contained new mistakes. This felt like hitting a moving target and was frustrating. We were still editing the revised document two days before our wedding. This was one of the more stressful parts of the whole wedding planning.
Despite our careful planning, the DJ often strayed from the music we wanted to hear, especially during the reception. When I approached our DJ Richard to ask why he was playing Whitney Houston, he indicated that her music was not on the “Do Not Play” list, and seemed to be a bit unsure as to what “80’s alternative to today” meant. From speaking with him briefly, he thought we wanted to hear 80’s music as well as alternative to today, despite having all of our requested music and bands be from the alternative genre.
Our guests seemed to enjoy themselves, which was important. However, my husband and I knew that the music he played wasn’t what we asked for, so that was very disappointing. After all the time we put into planning the music we wanted to hear for our day, it was sad to see that vision not carried out as well as we hoped it would be. Richard did correctly play our requested songs for our big moments (processional, recessional, first dance), so I’m relieved that worked out.

ails meeting before the wedding. Even when we had a few changes just days before the wedding, Wesley Works was very accommodating and helped to take away any stress we were having. One of our biggest requests was to have as much time for dancing as possible, and Richard was able to do just that! Everyone was on the dance floor and had such a great time. Guests of all ages were having a blast as he was playing oldies and newbies throughout the night. Our food was late and our DJ came over to myself and he groom to ask if he could get the party started a little earlier- it saved the night. No one was paying attention to the fact that the food was taking forever and they were dancing instead!! In addition to the music, Wesley Works did our uplighting as well. This was very important because our reception was in a sail cloth tent and lighting was key- it was gorgeous and they complimented everything so well with the lighting. ngly endless questions we asked them. Their suggestions were exactly what we wanted. On the day of the wedding DeAnna was one of the photographer and I can not say enough good things about her. She went above and beyond on getting every photo we wanted and so many we never even thought of. She fit in so well that my family asked the next day who my friend was that was doing the photography. I told them she was from a company we hired and they couldn't believe it. Her assistant Tia was also a doll. So personable and got really nice pictures of my husband during prep. I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE PHOTOGRAPHERS TO ANYONE. We also used their DJ and up-lighting services. They had the guests on the dance floor the entire time which was our biggest fear. They played every song we asked for and made sure to complete everything on our days schedule. We initially hesitated on adding up-lighting but are so glad we added it in the end. It looked beautiful.
In summary we would suggest using Wesley Works DJ and Photography for your wedding if you want to have a great wedding and a wonderful experience working with your vendors. FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!!!

y" songs and "do not play" songs, however, all the "must play" songs were played in the last 45 minutes of my reception! The DJ also played a lot of music from genres that we did not select. I will say, though, that the dance floor seemed full most of the reception and we only heard a few complaints from guests. My advice to couples is to be very clear about the music that you want and don't want at your wedding. My only regret is that I wasn't more vocal about what I wanted and didn't want at my reception.

We had a very small snafu with the mother/son dance (they were missing the mp3 that we had sent them) but it was resolved quickly and everything else was great. used both the photography and the dj service. The DJs were awesome! We had two one for our cocktail hour and the other for the reception. They played every song we requested and there was not a minute the dance floor wasn't packed. They music was exactly what I wanted with a mix of current pop music to music my parents loved. The photography was amazing!! We had engagement pictures done about a year before the wedding which we used for our save the date and many other projects. The photographer was with us for a little over and hour (on a 100degree day) and took every picture we wanted. We got our pictures back within 24 hours!! On our wedding day, we had Carter who was a blast!! He definitely was good at making everyone feel a bit less nervous. He came up with wonderful ideas and let us come up with our own. He gave compliments which made us all feel special on our day! Shaina was also great with the guys! We got our wedding pictures back 13 days after our wedding! I cannot recommend Wesley Works enough! They were professional and helpful! One of the reasons I chose to use them because they volunteer their time at the Women's 5K Classic for breast cancer ever year. After our very first phone call with Wes, my husband and I knew that we were in good hands. We loved Wes' professionalism, insightfulness, and sincerity throughout the entire planning process. Having never met him or had the opportunity to see him in action (being that we live out of state) some thought we were nuts choosing what was unknown to us, but we were confident that he was the best fit for us and our wedding. And he most definitely was!
It was an absolute pleasure working with him and his assistant during the day of our wedding. Aside from our guests loving the music selection during the reception, many commented on how beautiful the outdoor ceremony was and how it was one of the first wedding ceremonies that they could actually hear clearly and enjoy (even the people in the back), all thanks to him. Others commented on how wonderful it was that the music during dinner wasn't overpowering and how they could have a normal conversation with out having to raise their voices. The music during the reception was a great mix for our crowd and got everyone up on the dance floor. A guest who is not one to dance, said he appreciated the fact that the music was never "too loud" where he needed to leave the party. Instead, he was able to watch and still talk to the people at his table. Overall, Wes and his assistant NAILED IT!
Along with everything mentioned, I personally appreciated the fact that Wes continued to check in with my husband and I (with a huge smile on his face) throughout the night to make sure we were Ok and enjoying ourselves. Unlike other DJ services, Wes was willing to spend an unlimited amount of time with me during our first conversation to make sure I had all my questions answered. He sold me there! Planning was incredibly easy and he not only respected our music choices, but completely understood them as well!
Wes played our "must haves" and continued with the theme that was clearly apparent in those options. He was also willing to help both my husband and myself pull off two surprises! My husband surprised me with a special dance with my grandmother to one of my favorite songs and Wes helped me to pull of a surprise for my husband (some delicious cheesesteak eggrolls).
Wes stopped by our table a few times during the reception to make sure we were happy with the music and asked if we wanted anything different. It was so great to have someone there so attentive to our needs. Our dance floor was packed all night which was great to see because our guests varied in age from grandparents to young teens... all of who danced the night away!!
Wes kept the energy up all night and even helped to get our guests outside in a timely fashion for our sparkler send off!!

He was so nice and friendly. He spoke with us about our dances to discuss timing. He checked about pronunciation of our names. We loved how he filled the evening with songs we selected and he was spot on with songs that he thought we would like. He kept the dance party going. There wasn't any awkward pauses or dance moments. I would definitely recommend Wes Works and Mike for your next event!

They stayed with us the entire day and night, and did not once ask if we were done, if they could leave or when we would let them go. They left alongside our closest family members. For this, the have my deepest appreciation. As for the product, the did a phenomenal job. Our wedding pictures were completely edited and ready for online viewing within a week of our wedding. Furthermore, the pictures turned out gorgeous. Andrew and Carter truly have an eye for a beautiful shot, but also managed to get some great candids as well. Finally, Andrew and Carter were a pleasure to hang out with the entire day and night. They were laid back, fun and professional all at the same time. I hope they had as much fun working with us as we did working with them. All in all, Wesley Works is a MUST for capturing your special day. which was nice. Before the introductions, Mike had us all get together. He went over pronunciation of everyone's name, in addition to the sheet Wesley had made with phonetical pronunciations. The DJ still mispronounced a few peoples names. This was irritating. After our first dance, he played some music that wasn't really dancing music. A lot of my guests came up to me at this point and said why isn't he playing something we can dance to. I asked him about this and he said we had to do our parent dances first. My husband was spending some time with his groomsmen, and the DJ kept pressuring me to make my husband come back inside so we could get to the parent dances. This really upset me. I don't know why he couldn't have played dancing songs in the meantime. After that he played some older dance-y songs to get the older people out on the floor. Personally, I didn't care for the older music, but people were definitely dancing. He did a really good job with getting people to dance, playing more new music as the night went on. One of my guests requested a song and Mike didn't play it. He played our "last song" and then I realized that they never played the song my friend requested. So I asked him to play the requested song as our last one, and begrudgingly he did. Overall, I thought Mike did well when trying to get people to dance. He was a little socially awkward though, and made me more stressed out than I needed to be.

because so many of them offered tacky or cheesy options. The second we met
Wesley Works we knew they were in a league of their own. It was truly a
first class operation. We are also extremely glad we decided to use their
photography services which captured every moment of our day, all without
feeling pushy or in the way. They just knew what they had to do and did it.
The work is amazing. If you are planning a truly elegant and beautiful
wedding that you still want to have fun at I cannot imagine anyone better in
the Lehigh Valley to do the job. We are forever grateful that we used
Wesley Works at our wedding.

lights. I knew I didn't want anything like that for my wedding, and a band was just too expensive. I received a recommendation for Wesley Works from my Photographer Douglas Benedict, and I am so thankful he pointed me in their direction! From my first meeting with Wes, I knew I wanted them for my wedding. They were so willing to do whatever you wanted and they pride themselves on being different than those typical scary wedding DJs. I knew booking Wesley Works was going to work out great, but I never knew just how good it could actually be! The night of my wedding the dance floor was never empty and that's all I wanted for my guests! i was out there all night too! I didn't want the night to end, and neither did my guests! I could have danced for 5 more hours with the may Matt (my DJ) and Pam (his assistant) were doing their thing. It was just amazing! They played every song I really wanted to hear, and helped the events of the night go smoothly (cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc...) I was so sad the night was over because of how great Matt was and how much everyone wanted to keep on dancing because of them. If I had to name one thing that really made my wedding special, it would be Wesley Works. Just remembering how great of a job they did and how much fun everyone had thanks to them just makes me so so happy!! I think EVERYONE should book Wesley Works. I can guarantee they would have the most amazing event ever!!!
