Always a wonderful team at West Oak! We had three stylists which helped the day go quickly and smoothly! Professional, fun, and wonderful humans!
We used Kate for our wedding and she was SO amazing for both hair and makeup! She paid close attention to what I asked for and was flexible throughout when I asked for changes. I g...
ot so many compliments on her hard work throughout the night which made me feel amazing on my big day. She and all the other stylists are kind, hard working, so friendly, and incredibly talented. They even let my bridal party and I hangout at the salon for most of the day where we ate, drank, and spent some quality time together. Thank you, Kate, for making me feel like a million bucks :)
These girls went above and beyond to make everyone in my bridal party- including my 2 year old flower girl and my mother and mother in law look and feel absolutely beautiful! They ...
were reasonably priced and traveled 40+ minutes to my venue! Love love LOVE them!!!
I was lucky enough to have Emily (makeup), Kate & Jessica (hair) come to our airbnb and help my whole bridal party get ready for the big day! They are all incredibly talented and m...
ade every single one of the girls feel special and beautiful. All the hair and makeup held up so well throughout the day. I was a bit worried because there were 10 of us needing hair and makeup but they were extremely efficient even with every girl getting to pick her own hair style. Communicating with the team at West Oak was super simple and I loved having the ability to do a trial of both my hair and makeup. Jessica did my bridal hair and she was amazing. After sending her some pictures we selected a style for my trial but ended up changing everything the day of the wedding. After just describing what I wanted she went to work and it was perfect! I am so thankful that I decided to book with Emily and Jessica and their associate Kate!
Emily is a gem!
I planned my wedding from across the country and she was able to make me feel relaxed and comfortable on my wedding day - without even meeting her in person before...
hand. Emily joined me and my girls at my hotel room on wedding day which made for a relaxing and fun pre wedding morning. If you’ve never thought about bringing the glam squad to you, think about it because it was the absolute best way to spend the morning.
Emily did my makeup - asking my opinion and taking my thoughts into consideration all along the way. She is truly talented and I looked fab all day long! Thanks for the perfect start to a perfect day!
Emily is phenomenal!! She always goes above & beyond to make sure she can provide the best experience possible for her clients. Her passion is weddings, & it’s apparent! West Oak i...
s the only place I would full heartedly say I could sit in anyone’s chair & be happy with the results! Not only are they wonderful people, but their talent is remarkable! The bridal team is there every step of the way, & goes out of their way to accommodate any needs that arises on the big day! Thank you so much Emily & Kate for being such an awesome team!
After a falling out with a hairstylist a week before my wedding. Emily took great care of me! As a bride, a week before the wedding and trying to find someone to do your hair can c...
ause lots of stress. Emily was so accommodating and thoughtful! She is a stylist that knows hair and even does AMAZING bridal make up! I literally told her to do what she thought I would look good with and it was beyond what I expected! She is so personable too so you truly feel special getting ready on your day!!! Highly highly recommended!
BRIDES BEWARE!! This was not a reliable salon. We had the trial hair day 3 weeks before the wedding and had the bridal party set for hair and makeup on the day of the wedding. The ...
stylist sent a text and canceled as we were leaving for the trial hair appointment and then did not get back to reschedule. The salon was not helpful in reaching out or trying to reset the appointment for trial and we were completely left hanging for hair and make up for the wedding day. All of this was scheduled MONTHS in advance! 3 weeks before a wedding is last minute to make arrangements for a bridal party for hair and makeup. This is extra stress that is not needed by a bride and could have been avoided.
I love West Oak Salon! I adore the staff that I know. On the day of my wedding Jessica, Emily, and Kate came to a location i chose to make the beautiful women in my life feel radia...
nt. My bridesmaids chose what they wanted to look like with makeup and hair so that they felt their very best standing there beside me. Jessica, Emily, and Kate were completely professional and amazing at their jobs. Jessica did majority of the hair styles while Emily and Kate did majority of the makeup. Emily did my hair and makeup herself. As far as wedding days go mine was relaxed and fun. I never felt stressed. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you are thinking of booking them DO IT! I had 100% confidence in their capabilities and was beyond extatic with the results. Thank you ladies for making my day that much more blessed! I wish I could include pictures to show you how amazing they did!
Absolutely amazing!! Had an great trial run at the salon for my hair. Day of the wedding Emily traveled to us. She did all of my bridesmaids hair and makeup super quick and it lo...
oked fabulous! My hair was done even better than the trial run. I had never had my makeup done so well. I felt my absolute best for my special day. The best part was that my hair stayed and my makeup looked fresh the entire day!
Jess did my hair and Emily did my makeup. They are so sweet and accommodating, and definitely a joyful, peaceful presence on wedding day. I did a trial for both which was super hel...
pful, and they came to where we were getting ready which was perfect. I felt like myself but also like a gorgeous bride! The pictures turned out great, seriously how does she contour like that?
Emily was everything I needed while I got ready on my wedding day. How my hair and make up looked for our wedding is still one of my favorite things when I look through pictures. I...
remember looking in the mirror for the first time after she was done and I had put on my dress...I had never felt so beautiful. Not just because of my dress, but because of how perfectly my hair and make up complimented everything else. Thank you for giving me such a special feeling that day. I’ll never forget it.
I am so happy that I found Emily to do my hair for my wedding. She is so incredibly welcoming and friendly, it felt as if it was just an old friend helping me get ready! She worked...
with my ideas and brought what I had pictured to life for my wedding day, even when I changed a few things from our trial run. Not only did she do a great job on my hair, but my bridesmaids and mother’s as well. Everything was what we pictured and looked just as good at the end of the night! I’m so thankful to have had her and always recommend her to future brides!
