West Side Irish American Club

I met with Debbie and felt so at home. I like the venue because there are cute places for pictures including the iron gate, a bridge, a little cottage and inside in the pub area. Debbie takes the time to tell you everything you need to know and then some! I recommend this venue for a beautiful wedding spot.

This venue was perfect for our big day. They accommodated everything we wanted and it was still in our budget. This family orientated team Of people went above and beyond!

Amazing venue for our large family! Food from O'Malley catering was great! Everyone raved about the food and still have great things to say. Deb O'Malley was very easy to work with and made the wedding planning process very easy. It was great to have a contact at the venue that took care of a lot of small details. She was a built in wedding planner! My wedding day turned out amazing and I credit a lot of it to the work the WSIA did.

The venue is beautiful. The food is delicious and the venue is affordable . BUT If customer service is important to you Beware. We chose this venue based on our initial meeting with Tim and Debbie. Things sounded too good to be true. Turned out they where. My husbands priority for the wedding was the food had to be good. Tim and Debbie promised he would be able to try it. The wedding got closer and closer we heard nothing about the tasting. We asked about it and where told we had to taste another brides food no way can we try the choices we are interested in. Eventually after some haggle and me trying to pull my husband off the ledge they allowed us to come in and try the food. Great happy bride to be. We completed most of our paperwork at this event. Clarified some of the other promises they made etc. Moving on I come to the venue the wedding the money the Monday before the wedding the venue entrance inside and out where a mess. Having no choice and next to tears hearing Debbie's reassurance things will be better I paid the balance for the venue. Clarified some other details. Here comes our wedding day Debbie did a great job making the venue look awesome. We are super happy. Food was awesome. At the e of the night they asked us for money money because a number of guest had shown up to hat we did not expect instead of waiting until we where sober and back from our honeymoon. My mom paid them. Entrance was not completed but was "safe" Then we get back from our honeymoon and hear from our guests. Bar staff was rude would not allow straight drinks, or people to get drinks for others. Wait staff took people's drinks and plates before they where finished. Where unkind to people. There where no appetizers which we had ordered. The staff also did not tell the bridal party where their things had been moved. And many other small things. Ok fine can't help it. We send an email to debbie to find out, what the board had decided to do about the inconvenience of the entry way , and that they considered that some guest had not shown up in the extra guest number. Debbie responds with a lengthy email defensively explaining how they had gone above and beyond. Isn't that what you expect when you arrive spending thousands of dollars on a wedding venue? So if customer service is not important to you then choose this venue. If this is a priority then look out. Brides beware

I cannot say enough good things about O'Malley Catering and the Westside Irish American Club! Debbie and Tim were amazing to work with. Everything ran very smoothly and the food was so good...I just wish I would have eaten more of it. Debbie is great about getting back to you with all your questions. They also have an all included price so I didn't have to worry about all the little extras adding up. Again I cannot say enough great things.

we rented the gazebo for our ceremony, and my point of contact was wonderful, prompt to answer and questions and if she didnt know the answer she would find someone that did. My only regret was not using them for the reception. also the french drain in front of the gazebo was a bit of an eye sore, but they provided material to cover that issue

We rented both Madison and Abbey rooms for a group about 125. Size was adequate as well as parking. Priced reasonable. I liked the location close to home. Communication was overall good. We provided our own food rather than using their overpriced overrated caterer. Be prepared to bring everything. It comes with tables and chairs and that's it. We were not allowed to set up the day before and they were an hour late letting us in so two people stayed behind to set up and missed the ceremony!

The West Side Irish American Club was my favorite bridal show. We were able to secure our bagpiper and cake decorator from this show.

The PT O'Malley catering team used to cater events at the WSIA are incredible. We received TONS of compliments on food and service. They were extremely accomodating to some of our difficult guests (we found out they were difficult from other guests later. They treated my husband and I like royalty the entire evening. Price is extremely reasonable compared to other caterers we researched. Food was hot (not just ours, but many other guests told us they were surprised by how fresh their wedding food was compared to other wedding dinners), servers and bartenders were smiling, and their management team is top notch!

We just got married on June 30, 2012 and had our reception here. We we're thrilled with our choice. The facility is beautiful, and the caterer PT O' Malley Inc, is absolutely wonderful. The size of the facility was perect for the number of guests we invited! Fantastic professional and friendly service!

From the day we went to just see the hall in our selection process to the night of our wedding we were blown away by the amazing service. Pat O'Malley is a true businessman who only wants his customer to be satisfied. From planning the details, to the decorations, to the menu, Pat helped us step by step to make our wedding the best it could be. When we arrived on our limo, the staff was waiting to help us with anything we needed. The hall is beautiful and has so much character. The food is unbelievable. Most times at weddings the food is mediocre...the food at the WIAC is outstanding and everyone still cannot stop talking about it. The roasted red pepper sauce is fantastic as is the chicken Francaise. We were more than satisfied by the WIAC, as were our guests. Our wedding wouldn't have been so special or great had we not gone to the WIAC!

Pat O'Malley and his staff are so helpful! They made everything pretty simple for us. We had a sit down dinner and everything was served quickly. Everyone was raving about the food, and I've never heard a bad thing about this place from anyone. You bring in your own alcohol, which saves big bucks. And at the end of the night his staff loads it into your car. You don't have to worry about anything at this venue.

Staff was so accommodating and so friendly. It was wonderful.

Pat and his staff was very good and worked with us to have everything done easily.

This was the last place my husband and I looked at and it was beautiful! The outdoor area was well kept and green and included a place area for kids. The staff so helpful. Pat was willing to do anything we asked and offered great advice on things we weren't sure about. The food was delicious and the price was very reasonable. We had TONS of compliments on everything. I couldn't recommend a better place!

It was ran amazingly. I had absolutely nothing to worry about and nothing went wrong. I got numerous compliments on the food and service;Find a good photographer who knows how to photographer that location because the lighting can be a bit difficult.
