Instead he included the photographer and photo both people who are usually complementary in our count of guests! They usually eat for free if they are part of Westbury Manor. They also included two 2year olds in the count! I think they could of given us an extra exit station or something else to make up for the quests which had to cancel at last minute due to Covid! The wedding was beautiful and everyone did have a great time. Just think Jerry could of given a little extra for amount of people that had to cancel!

We also booked with Michael and he was great to work with throughout the months leading up and was there to answer all of our questions.

Susan. Phil went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful. My husband’s button fell off his tux 5 minutes before the ceremony and Phil came to the rescue and sewed it back on in no time! He was so wonderful coordinating our day and we were so grateful to have him. Also special thanks to our Bridal Attendant Susan. An absolute sweetheart, she was there whenever we needed her, from placing my bustle, getting us food from cocktail hour, making sure I wasn’t cold when we were taking pictures, keeping our glasses full! She was always there and we are so grateful for all her help she was truly amazing! We absolutely loved both Phil and Susan they made our day picture perfect! We love the Westbury Manor. My parents got married here 32 years ago and we were told everything was as beautiful then as now. We would recommend this venue to everyone ten times over. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the best day of our lives!!!

he went above and beyond for us! Anything we needed or wanted he got for us right away. Most of the time we didn’t even have to ask! KELLY and ANGIE were our bridal attendants. They were so helpful and always there for anything and everything. The entire staff was amazing. The food was amazing and everyone said how great everything was. My French fry bar exceeded my expectations! My only regret of the night was not spending the entire cocktail hour eating French fries! Thankfully PHIL, KELLY, and ANGIE made a sample platter for us to enjoy so we could still talk to all our guests while enjoying everything cocktail hour had to offer. Everything about this place is perfect! The inside is beautiful, the outside grounds are beautiful all year round, and the staff goes above and beyond for you from the second you walk in the door! From booking the wedding with IAN, and all our appointments with SANDRA leading up to the wedding. We had the best time and made such great memories we will keep with us forever. By the end of day we were “family”. I have hosted many events over the years and I can honestly say this was the best experience I have had with a venue. Our Maitre D' Phil was the best. He was always by our side guiding us through the night's festivities and treating us like royalty. On the day of, Phil was the maitre’d and was very attentive throughout the whole celebration, making sure we had all our requests met. He had the sharpest eye for detail and helped make the entire event spectacular! He helped finesse our DIY centerpieces and decorated the cake and placecard table! He was funny, professional, and personable making sure the party flowed smoothly. He made sure I never had an empty drink on hand. The waitstaff was also very attentive and nice!! More importantly, the food never fails at Westbury Manor. The crab cake hor d’ourves were DELICIOUS!! My husband and I split the filet mignon and stuffed shrimp which was AMAZING!!! Westbury manor also never fails with the endless photo ops with the most gorgeous gardens and elegant landscapes. You will not be disappointed (or hungry) if you have a party at westbury manor! Their service, food and ambiance compares to no other venue out there.

Ian was hugely helpful from the start of our journey with Westbury and was a big part of our decision to work with this amazing venue from the very start. After finally getting through multiple postponements throughout the pandemic to celebrate our Wedding day, a major Nor'easter was forecasted for the day of our Wedding on 1/29/22. We received a phone call from Jerry Scotto, strongly advising us to postpone again. Our hearts sank. We quickly inquired if there was any availability on Sunday 1/30/22 to which Jerry stated there was an afternoon spot available. With one day's notice, Jerry's candid honesty helped us through a very difficult and challenging situation and decision, especially after what we had been through. Westbury shifted our entire Wedding Day, the day we had been waiting so long to celebrate and it was more perfect, and more beautiful, than we could have ever possibly dreamed of! We had been working with Sandra in the weeks leading up to the Wedding and she was there with us on our Wedding Day throughout the entirety of the party. Her genuine compassion, kindness and true whole-hearted hospitality and care guided us through a seamless day. Susan was our bridal attendant. Susan's kindness, patience, attentiveness and dedication allowed us to have such a wonderful experience at Westbury Manor from start to finish. Susan graciously helped me with my dress when I needed to head up the stairs, or into the restroom, and bustled my dress up so beautifully and quickly. Susan made sure we enjoyed all of the delicious food throughout our Wedding, and we truly did. The variety, quality and amount of food served at our Wedding was unbelievable. From start to finish, from cocktail hour to dessert, even the chocolate fountain was amazing! Our guests were well fed, taken care of, happy, comfortable and never wanted for anything. The service was impeccable. The Manor made our signature drinks to perfection! We can attest to an absolutely beautiful canvas for a true Winter wonderland Wedding. Throughout the party, the room's lighting was consistently adjusted, which actually made it feel like evening time. We felt so lucky as it felt like we had the best of both worlds, a beautiful day time afternoon party, combined with the evening feeling! It was amazing! Each room in the Manor is more captivating than the next. When we entered the Manor Room before our reception began, I couldn't believe my eyes. The staff at Westbury Manor decorated the space, personalized for us with the items we brought! We worked with Gary for flowers at the Westbury Manor, and his talent for creating the most beautiful floral arrangements for every one of our tables, and for our bouquets and boutonnieres was absolutely incredible. The flowers on our Wedding cake were also so perfect and beautiful! Gary drove out in the snow the next morning, and hand delivered all of our flowers! The professionalism of this venue and every possible aspect of it is unmatched. We will never forget this day for the rest of our lives. We are so grateful to Westbury Manor! do take care of their clients and the couples that book weddings with them. They got hit hard with COVID but they handled working with us with grace and understanding. On the big day, we had Sandra as our Maitre D. She was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She took care of everything and made the night flow so smoothly. Sandra was so friendly and thoughtful. She eased my stress (and my mother’s too!). My Bridal Attendant was Kelly and she had an Assistant with her, also named Kelly. Both ladies were two steps ahead of me.. thinking of things that I would need before I knew I needed it! They were all so sweet, accommodating and thoughtful. They are true professionals! The cocktail hour and the reception main courses blew our guests away! When we talk to our guests, they ALL mention how great the food was. They couldn’t believe MORE food was being served. From all of the cocktail hour stations, 7 main course selections, Ice Cream Bar, to the Hot Pretzel and Zeppole To Go Station, our guests were being very well taken care of! The room size fit perfectly with the amount of people that came on that night. The 2 bars inside the main room were so helpful. There never was a line and no one had to leave the room to get a drink! It definitely helped keep everyone inside the room and dancing too! We took beautiful “wintery” pictures outside on the grounds. It looked like a magical winter wonderland and our pictures outside came out beautifully. My husband and I will always be so thankful that we chose Westbury Manor for our wedding reception. The staff worked tirelessly to make our night perfect. To anyone looking to book with Westbury Manor.. You will not regret your decision!

r bridal assistant and they both were AMAZING. I wanted to take both of them home with me. They were so kind and helped SOOO much--I didn't have a day of coordinator and you certainly don't need one with a dream team like Phil and Evelyn. My grandma is still talking about Phil and how much she loves him LOL. Evelyn was so helpful to me, getting me drinks without me even asking and helping me go to the bathroom multiple times during the night! But the venue itself--wow. It was more beautiful than I could have imagined. So many guests told us how amazing the food was. I admittedly didn't eat dinner because of all the adrenaline but Phil and Evelyn wrapped up our dinners for us and when we had it the next day, the filet mignon was still soooooo tender and cooked perfectly. My parents also had their wedding here so it was extra special for us but I am so blown away and will never forget this day. Thank you WBM!!

He also made it a point to come into the room prior to the start of the event to make sure we were happy and everything was as promised. Of course the actual day of could not have gone off as flawlessly without the expertise of our Maitre d’, PHIL who was such an integral part of our affair. He was hands on from start to finish and was a complete joy to work with. His professionalism, outgoing personality, and addressing of working staff set the tone for a stress free, fun filled day for all who attended. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and replenished quickly. Executive CHEF TONY, you are AMAZING! A very heartfelt thank you to the other Senior Managers, GEORGE and JOAQUIM who not only stopped by to make sure set-up and break down went smoothly, but who also assisted in helping our guests carry in gifts and helped us bring everything to our cars on exit. Another thank you as well to the Corporate Director, LANA who worked with me by telephone and email as we are from out of town. Her expertise made the paperwork and drop-off a breeze. In closing, the ENTIRE staff (receptionists, hostesses, coat check, waiters/waitresses, and bartender) at The Manor was welcoming and helpful from start to finish and our guests could not stop raving about the service. Of course once again, none of this would be possible without the direct supervision and overseeing of the Westbury Manor owner, JERRY SCOTTO, who has in the past, and continues to this day, to set the bar for catering standards in the industry. e day of the event - they helped guide us and our family for the ceremony and many photoshoots as well as made sure we never had an empty glass. They helped coordinate the many vendors that were onsite that day. The food was phenomenal and everyone walked away happy and full. I can't recommend Westbury Manor enough for your next event!

nd music is playing. The staff was very nice and accommodating through the whole process. My only negative is how they advertise “only one wedding at a time”. There may only be one wedding, but that is not to say there is only one event. The evening of my daughters wedding the venue hosted a Greek style christening upstairs, which went to 11-11:30 pm. This event was next to the bridal suite. At one point I went up to the bridal suite and underage girls from the christening were tasting the champagne left for us in the suite. The bridal party had their phones, wallets, etc up there. After I complained they locked the bridal suite so we couldn’t even get to it unless we found a bridal attendant. We also thought that the bathroom connected to the suite was for our use. Unfortunately it was for the use of the upstairs party. It was a small bathroom as it is, so if the girls went up to use the bathroom and touch up makeup they couldn’t use the bathroom since there were always others using it. I would still recommend Westbury Manor, but I would get some kind of assurance that there would be no upstairs party going on at the same time.

s our day drew closer and everyone at Westbury were more than helpful alleviating our concerns. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure our day went off without a hitch. My bridal attendants Susan and Johana were absolute angels! They made sure my bridal party and I were well taken care of and they anticipated everything we needed and had it ready before we even had to ask! I would never have made it through the day without them. Our maitre d was George and he was the most incredible sweetheart! He was cool, calm, collected, and charismatic; the absolute definition of the the ultimate professional. George made sure everything was taken care of, was always asking if there was anything he could do to take things off our plate, and kept the whole day running smoothly like a well oiled machine. Every single one of our guests went out of their way to make sure they told us what a wonderful time they had. Everyone raved about the unbelievable cocktail hour, the delicious food at the reception, and the absolutely stunning grounds where the ceremony took place. My husband and I truly felt like family at Westbury Manor and cannot wait to go back to enjoy a dinner at the Polo Lounge or even attend a wedding as a guest! If you have any hesitation in having your special day here, please go ahead and make sure you do! It will be the best decision you ever make.

glasses were never empty and he made sure we had everything we needed from beginning to end. I literally cannot say enough good things about him. Evelyn was our other attendant and she made sure my hair, dress, and veil were on point the whole day. They both were so amazing we really cannot be more grateful. They both deserve 100 stars. The entire night was absolutely perfect in every way we could have imagined. Our ceremony was meant to be outside and was fully set up but it started to rain - Phil, Evelyn worked super quick to move the ceremony inside and despite us feeling uneasy about it as we had our hearts set on outside it was INSANELY BEAUTIFUL inside and we at the end of the day were happier with the inside setup. It truly was the best night of our lives.

Plus, we actually got to eat during our cocktail hour. All of the food food is amazing including the cake from Francesco’s. I’m still dreaming about the take home zeppoles and hot chocolate I had on the ride home. Everyone and everything at Westbury Manor is amazing. Definitely book here!

The staff went above and beyond to make our day special, and while they obviously host events and weddings all the time, while you are there, they make you feel like YOUR day is the most special. I have never had such amazing service, I felt like a queen! Phil, our maitre de, and Kelly my bridal attendant, waited on me and my husband hand and foot. If we needed anything at all, we just asked and they fulfilled. They made sure that we mingled during cocktail hour, but also made sure that we got to try the delicious food from our spread! They prepared us plates with EVERYTHING imaginable from cocktail hour, and made sure we sat down to eat, which gave my husband and I a minute to ourselves, which I truly appreciated. The food from cocktail hour and dinner was amazing. Drinks were constantly flowing. The day went absolutely seamlessly. I cannot wait to be back there, whether it's to eat at the Polo Lounge or for another celebration. Thank you to the entire Westbury Manor staff for providing the structure for the best wedding ever.

The fact we were planning all of this throughout COVID needless to say, they made things so easy and so so seamless. For our flowers, we used the flowers at the Westbury Manor and Gary is also not short of AMAZING. He knew exactly what I wanted, with the very few words that I was using. I am not a flowers girl but he nailed it and I loved everyone's flowers. I could not have been happier to see our final look from the cocktail hour to reception. Day of we had the BEST bridal attendant, Kelly, and Maître D' was Phil. BLOWN AWAY. They kept us happy and moving the whole whole time. They were so attentive, so easy to work with, and whatever we needed they were there. If anyone is able to help you with your needs- they are the BEST DUO to have! REQUEST THEM!! You will not even know if anything even goes wrong that night. They stayed with us from the moment we arrived until my very late night meltdown to make sure that we were happy. You will not be wrong choosing the venue. The food, decor, all staff- AMAZING. All staff is wearing a mask and all staff more than attentive. All our guests let us know how how amazing food was, our decorations, and our DJ (use BODY ROCK, SHINE, & Ovation for entertainment!!)

the venue. The grounds are breathtaking - we were able to have our cocktail hour and viennese hour on the patio outside - guests absolutely loved the food! I did as well - had the duck for dinner. The staff is always super helpful and pleasant, especially on the big day! My bridal attendant was amazing- she helped me out when I wasn't feeling great from the heat - we were taking photos outside, with my heavy dress, in 93+ degree temps!

ring my many questions for an entire year! As my day got closer we had so many last minute changes but everyone I spoke with was there to help. Our Maître D was Joaquin, he was the best! He was so attentive from the moment we got there. We got married in the hottest day of the year and he was right by our sides to make sure we had enough water and were comfortable. An hour before our ceremony was supposed to start it began to rain, I was beside myself but Joaquin pulled us aside and told us once it stopped he’s going to have the crew dry off the seats with a leaf blower. Thankfully the rain stopped and it looked like nothing ever happened, I was so impressed by his professionalism. Madelyn was my bridal attendant and she was such a sweetheart. She helped me with my dress the entire night making sure it looked perfect and made sure I was comfortable throughout the day. During cocktail hour she set up a small private table for me and my husband to enjoy the food. During every meal she gave me multiple napkins on my dress to ensure I didn’t spill anything. We had our three month old with us and Joaquin and Madelyn took great care of him and his babysitter. I thought he’d be in the bridal suite for the night but they set them up in the library room for them. People are still raving about the food, the only thing my guests had to say was ‘the food was amazing’ I don’t think I could thank everyone at Westbury Manor enough for everything they’ve done, not just for my wedding day but for an entire year of uncertainty. I will recommend this as a wedding venue to anyone who asks. My wedding day was perfect and it was a huge thanks to them!

edding by an entire year and they worked with us to ensure that we would be satisfied with our reschedule. The night of the wedding was truly magical. Westbury Manor is a gorgeous venue. Our guests were all in awe of the beauty of a cocktail hour in the gorgeous gardens, and they were amazed at the large and delicious selection of food to graze on during cocktail hour. The whole set up was perfect. We had the ceremony under the smaller metal gazebo, and it was everything I had hoped for. There was plenty of light which was very important considering our ceremony was after sunset. The floral arrangements that Westbury Manor provided for the gazebo topper and aisle runners were absolutely beautiful. Our reception itself was in the Manor Room, which fit our 110 guests, photo booth, and flower wall photography section very well. The portions at the reception were very generous and the food was great. Westbury Manor also was very accommodating and procured Glatt Kosher meals for several guests, which I was assured by those guests was also delicious. Finally, we decided to do the Grand Viennese Tables (these are SO WORTH IT). They filled the entire Conservatory with table upon table heaped with scrumptious desserts! Overall, the ambiance and the food was amazing and all of our guests were extremely impressed. Phil was our Maître D' and he was truly an angel. He made sure the whole event ran smoothly and helped us to coordinate everything. He was there every step of the way to alleviate our concerns and stress and to help calm us down and reassure us. Thanks to Phil, the whole evening went off without a hitch, and he was truly a pleasure to work with. Kelly was the bridal attendant, and she was very attentive and helpful. She helped me with not one, but two wardrobe malfunctions. She was able to sew up a tear in the tulle of my dress which I had snagged during photos and before the party started. She also helped save the day when one of my arm straps ripped off the front of my dress after some vigorous dancing. She's very experienced and was a big help in calming us both down, making sure we had a chance to eat and drink, and just overall taking care of us and making sure we could focus on having a good time without having to worry about anything. In short, our wedding at Westbury Manor was absolutely magical. It was like something straight out of a fairy tale. Through out the pandemic, Ian would check-in with us, keeping us updated on all the COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions, and always giving us hope that we would still be able to have the wedding that we wanted. When we reached out to Ian in regards to our concerns about not being able to meet the minimum guest requirements due to COVID, he was able to lower our minimum guest requirement not once, but twice!!!! Ian, you truly are amazing and we are so glad we met with you when we first toured the WM back in 2019. Towards the date of the wedding, we worked closely with Sandra. Sandra was amazing in helping us finalize the small details of our wedding and giving us a run down of how the wedding day would flow. She even got back to me after I left voicemails when we had last minuets to make for our wedding. She was patient and it was a pleasure working with her! We worked with Gary, the Manor florist. He did an AMAZING job with out centerpieces! Everything came out exactly as was planned, including our wedding cake because we had wanted flowers on it as well. Now we arrive to our wedding day. Our wedding was on August 21st, 2021. Hurricane Henri was expected to touch down on Long Island that day. Naturally, I was anxiously hoping that it would not rain, as we wanted our ceremony to be outside. Thankfully we were able to take pictures outside and the weather held up....until our ceremony. It began to rain as soon as I got up unto the altar!!! Thankfully, our matire'd Phil, and Bridal Attendant Kelly were there to the rescue! They brought out umbrellas for myself and some guests that were getting wet outside, and even though our ceremony was cut short due to the hurricane, Phil and Kelly were able to manage the change smoothly, and it was smooth sailing for our wedding. As soon as I arrived to the WM, I was greeted by Phil, who brought me up to the bridal suite and gave us champagne as we got prepped. Our bridal party was definitely taken care of! Phil and Kelly were always by our sides to make sure that we had everything that we needed, from drinks, to fixing up my bustle, to helping me change into flip flops after my feet were hurting (thank you Kelly!). Phil was a true MVP! When he found out the bar didn't have limoncello, he went and found me limoncello from the restaurant! Kelly was also an MVP as she helped me in the bathroom and getting out of my dress for that purpose. Honestly, Phil and Kelly, we are glad we had you to help us during our wedding, you guys rock! If you can ask for them, I most definitely would! The WM staff at the end of it all felt like family to us! We would recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married. They have amazing customer service and AMAZING food!!!. And they were able to host our wedding during a HURRICANE!!! I can't say that other venues would have done that. Thank you WM for making our wedding an incredible and unforgettable night! We cannot wait to return to the Westbury Manor again, hopefully for the Thanksgiving Season!!! n went above and beyond to accommodate us in any way he could. The bridal attendant, Sandra, was AMAZING, she was very attentive during the entire event to our every need. Our Maitre d’, was George. George was super personable and was very helpful. However, there were many times throughout the event that we were looking for him and he was nowhere to be found. He made sure to come around in the end to collect his tip. The food was good, it was not great. The food should have tasted as wonderful as it did when we initially had went for the tasting. Many people had let us know that the steak entree was not cooked to their liking, many were cooked to incorrect temperatures. We would have liked screens/guards over the food outside as there were bees swarming by the sushi bar. There was not a server behind the sushi bar, and the cooked shrimp were placed in a regular vessel and not in the ice clam shell as discussed when we initially went to review the contract. Westbury Manor had the nerve to hand out tip envelopes and wrote what the Maitre' D and Bridal attendant should get as a suggested tip. Who deserves a tip and how much is up to the customer, not up to the venue. Our florist, Gary, made some beautiful flower arrangements! Our guests were raving about the colors and the arrangements. The grounds looked well-kept and the space itself was nicely decorated with flowers. We would have liked a more detailed breakdown of pricing at the beginning when we first met instead of finding out closer to the event about prices that were never discussed. Gary charged us for 3 boutineers and 3 corsage flowers and a bouquet of flowers for as the same price as two tables worth of flowers. He did this because he initially had priced it for 16 tables and we ended up with 14 tables in the end. We found this out way too late to search for another vendor it was not worth it at all to go with the personal flowers. Gary was also in charge of placing the flowers for our cake. Although the flowers looked beautiful it was not what was discussed at our first meeting it was supposed to be a spread of different flowers around the cake not 4 roses, one on each layer, what a disappointment. The guests were already arriving and it was too late to request the additional flowers/adjustments. When the reception was over Gary came out in jeans, and a tee shirt walking the floor seeing how everything look, he started picking food off of our plates with his hands on the sweetheart table. I saw him myself as well as guests also told me that they saw him doing this. This was uncalled for and disrespectful, this is the hospitality industry everyone should act professional. If a health inspector walked in the establishment and saw an employee doing this the establishment would be fined. Overall it was a good event, some employees were great and went above and beyond and others need work. COVID is not an excuse for staff and having them know what should be done.

the night was great, especially the week before the wedding when I was at my most stressed. The night of, I have never felt so attended to. Phil was an incredible Maitre'D, making sure we had everything we needed, leading the rehearsal, keeping us fed and repeatedly fixing my broke bustle. Kelly, the bridal attendant, was so attentive and present that I felt very taken care of. My guests had an incredible time and raved about the food from cocktail hour to dessert. Thank you all so much for making our (second) wedding so memorable!

h Phil and Madelyn, we felt so taken care of. They treat the guests and clients like family. We had a multi-cultural wedding and the entire staff bent over backwards for us to have exactly what we dreamed of. And they helped us plan out special touches like a place for guests to pray and ordering halal meat. And then, on our wedding day, there was literally nothing that we had to worry about. From the moment we stepped on the venue, we were greeted immediately by Madelyn, Phil, Ian, and Mary. Everyone knew exactly what our timeline was and perfectly orchestrated every last detail. Words cannot describe how incredible the day was. Phil (maitre d') and Madelyn (bridal attendant) were beyond EXCELLENT. We cannot thank them enough and our entire wedding party was blown away by the hospitality and organization. The entire night was absolutely perfect- we wouldn't change one thing. And we both still have guests texting us that it was the best wedding they have ever been to and fawning over how gorgeous the property was. We couldn't agree more. We are thrilled that we chose Westbury Manor and would choose it again and again in a heartbeat. And I wish that we could relive the night over and over again. Thank you to the entire staff- Phil, Madelyn, Ian, Mary, Sandra, Lana and Jerry (and everyone else because literally EVERYONE was so sweet) for taking such fabulous care of us. Our day was perfect and we seriously cannot thank you all enough. If you're looking for somewhere to get married, look no further. This is the best of the best.

incredible staff made our wedding absolutely AMAZING! The outdoor cocktail hour was beautiful and spacious with a variety of food options. The reception was elegant and unforgettable. People are still talking about how much they loved our wedding at the manor and what a great time it was! ust how much a Maitre d can make or break your wedding day experience and Phil went above and beyond for my friend and her groom. He was organized, attentive, and made sure we all stayed on schedule without being pushy. Not only did he take care of my friend but he made sure us as bridesmaids were just as comfortable and taken care of. I’m a nursing mom and he made sure I had everything I needed so I could sneak away and pump without missing a beat. Anything we asked for, he made sure we got it. Long Island has so many gorgeous venues - and Westbury Manor is clearly one of the elite - but if you’re a bride searching for a venue I would highly recommend this venue as Phil and his staff set it apart from all the rest.

Our wedding was postponed twice due to covid, and I must say Ian was super helpful in keeping us updated - a difficult situation to be tasked with during New York State/City floating schedule and ever-changing regulations. Still, the process went smoothly. What we did NOT set any expectations on , were the assigned Maitre d’ & bridal attendant. Phil & Madelyn went above and beyond for us. Besides how friendly, welcoming and understanding they were it seemed as if they knew exactly what I was thinking or what we needed at each moment of the evening. Phill greeted us ON the party bus we arrived in and carried all of our belongings into the venue. Close by (down the steps of the vehicle) was Madelyn, who kept an eye on everything & let us know where things would be if we might need them. Both stuck by our side while still being attentive to our bridal party & guests the entire time. We were rushed in for photos , but Phil and Madelyn were sure to keep us plates of everything available during cocktail- and our cups were always full. Need to charge your phone? I got it. Need some water? I got it. Another cocktail? I got it. Ready to change into your slides? Here they are. No worries! I’ll carry your train for you while you’re relocating for photos! — and those were just SOME of the things they ran around for without us even having to suggest. There are no words to express how delightful, helpful and impressive both were. They really brought their A-Game & their helping hands were a great relief on such a hectic day!!

But upon arrival at the manor, I was taken cared of and not once did I feel anxious anymore. I was greeted by the maitre'd Sandra and my bridal attendant Kelly immediately from the limo and the whole night they made sure that everyone was comfortable. They were very attentive to my needs and to my bridal party as well. We were all extremely impressed with such service. Thank you to the whole Westbury staff for making my wedding day unforgettable and making me the happiest bride!

ntire planning process! Our Maitre D, Phil, was absolutely wonderful and took care of everything, there was not one moment where something went wrong he was awesome!! Madelin was my bridal attendant and she was also amazing, she took care of all of my needs the entire night as well as my husband's! My bustle even ripped at one point and both Phil and Madelin saved the day. Overall, our experience at the Westbury Manor was a 10/10, our family and friends are still raving about the place, and my husband and I could not be happier. The service, food and drinks were outstanding! Ian, Phil, Madelin and the rest of the Westbury Manor team- thank you for making our dreams come true with the most perfect wedding!!!

I had to put aside planning our final wedding details and focus on serving my community. With the help of my closest family, my husband and I were married in my mother’s backyard with less than 20 people in attendance, while adhering to the strict COVID-19 guidelines. We debated whether or not to reschedule the wedding reception or to cancel at Westbury Manor. Each time we contacted Westbury Manor or they contacted us during the pandemic, we asked about cancelling our event, but we were told that wasn’t an option each time. We would lose all of the money we deposited (about $13,500 altogether). In fact, upon rescheduling during the pandemic, they asked for an additional $3000 deposit, which was eventually waived. Therefore, we rescheduled our event for June 13th 2021. However, since the beginning of the year, it was clear that about half of our guests would not be able to make it as they live in other countries, where vaccines are less available and travel policies are still changing constantly. Many of our local guests are elderly, as well. We did not feel safe or comfortable holding our rescheduled event. Many details were still uncertain, such as: number of guests allowed, precautions needed, safety procedures, and whether or not dancing would be permitted. In March, Westbury Manor told us that we would not be getting a refund because they could not book another event during our date on such short notice. After several exchanges, and reminding them that we have been asking about cancellations since the beginning of the pandemic, they offered us an “exception” of giving a $3500 refund. Unfortunately for us, we didn’t realize that there is no Acts of God clause or Force Majeure provision in the contract. To anyone who is getting married in the future and currently reading this, please look for this clause in your contracts! We are NOT lawyers and certainly not offering legal advice, but from what we can tell, it covers things outside of our control, such as natural disasters like the pandemic. As of right now, we’re not really sure where we stand. As of last week, our banquet manager was on vacation. We think the event has been cancelled, but who knows? As individuals, we will not be able to reclaim any of our lost deposits. As far as I know, small claims courts in Long Island will award only up to $5000 in damages. Hiring a lawyer to pursue further action may cost as much money as we’ve lost in total, and require a lot of time, as well. We understand that they are a business that has undoubtedly been affected by the pandemic, but we have been hurt, too. To date, we have not received any money back from Westbury Manor. At this point, with all of the issues listed above, I don’t think a full refund should be out of the question. To those of you looking to get married at Westbury Manor, please be safe, and consider the information I shared above when planning ahead with our uncertain future. Please read your contracts and think twice about scheduling a venue, like Westbury Manor.

I can’t rave enough about Phil and Kelly, who helped with everything the day of. They always made sure my husband and I were taken care of and made sure everything ran on time. Two different people had stepped on and ripped my bustle on the dance floor. Evelyn fixed it perfectly both times. My up do had started to fall from all the dancing and Evelyn fixed it with ease. Phil helped us through the entire night, making sure everything was exactly as we wanted it and that we knew exactly what was happening. It was better than we had even dreamed of!
