Westcott Weddings

ediately available without being intrusive, and she always had the answers anyone was looking for.  Nicolet has an exceedingly calming presence that was perfect for all wedding jitters. Our only regret was not hiring her at a higher level. Bravo and Thank You to Nicolet and Westcott Weddings!

olet's attention to detail is truly unmatched. She helped us shape our vision and then brought it to life even more beautifully than we could have imagined. Her strong relationships with local vendors were another big advantage and made coordination feel seamless. She really made it easy for us! We can’t recommend Nicolet and Westcott Weddings highly enough!

with a thoughtful plan, understood our vibe, and brought our vision to life with such ease. I’m most grateful for how calm, patient, and genuinely supportive she was throughout the entire process, I really enjoyed working with her, and I am SO GLAD we went with full service support to allow her to manage all vendors, I'd trust her with anything. “Hiring Nicolet is the best money we’ve spent so far.” — Father of the Bride “We’re under budget… I’m impressed.” — Mother of the Bride “This wedding is the perfect balance of elegant and authentic.” — A guest I can't recommend her enough. Thank you, Nicolet!

as incredible on the day of the wedding. Our wedding day was completely stress free and relaxing because of how organized, prepared, and proactive she was. Nicolet also planned my sister’s wedding! Seeing her help plan two beautiful events for our family says everything about her talent and dedication! If you’re looking for someone who is talented, trustworthy, responsive, and truly passionate about bringing your dream day to life, look no further. We couldn’t be more grateful and highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!

anning company & left us empty handed. After spending a good deal of time conveying our vision, plans, and budget, we had to pivot. Within weeks, after deciding upon Wescott to take the reins, we realized what a blessing Nicolet was! She has exceptional taste, is an amazing listener, has wonderful recommendations and relationships with great vendors, and was just an absolute joy to work with. She brought our shared vision to life with the most creative suggestions and was so personally invested in the details, even my crazy-specific, niche requests. She kept us organized, on budget and, helped us achieve our goal of a wedding that was special, beautiful, and catered to our guests. On the day of our wedding, it felt as though Nicolet was as present as could be, and when it was time for the much awaited reception reveal, I felt as though Nicolet & I (an overly excited bride) shared the same excitement as we walked through the doors together. I have to mention, Nicolet even spent extra time to source vintage duck-figurine placecard holders for our head table, specifically for my duck hunting obsessed husband. We will cherish those forever! In the end, our wedding was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. We highly recommend Nicolet LaVeau and Westcott Weddings to anyone we know getting married. We are forever happy with our choice in Wescott!

n top of the schedule/logistics/etc. It's remarkable how ahead of the game she is!! She is also a master at taking the clients vision and making it beautiful! Her events are always thoughtful, detailed, and gorgeous. She is just a really great person to work with! We love Westcott Weddings and can't wait for the next one!

tt was able to perfectly bring our vision to life in a way that felt timeless but full of whimsy. As an out of town bride, I had to put my full trust in Westcott’s recommendations for vendors, and Nicolet simply didn’t miss. She took my “what ifs” and “is it possibles” and brought all of it to fruition. Thank you, Westcott Weddings and Nicolet, for making our special day more memorable than ever imagined!

items. She also made sure we stayed on track and was extremely flexible even when we had last minute changes. Most importantly, our wedding day was stress free and enjoyed our wedding day. I highly recommend hiring Nicolet!!

ntire process seamless. She connected us with amazing vendors, kept every detail organized and on track, and even provided incredible design guidance that brought our vision to life. From start to finish, she was approachable, responsive, and truly a dream to work with. Westcott Weddings made our day everything we hoped for and more. If you’re planning a wedding or any event in Austin, I wholeheartedly recommend them—their connections, eye for design, and meticulous attention to detail make them an exceptional team!

cisive. She helped us explore all our options without pressure and made the whole planning process feel way more manageable and actually very fun at times. On the wedding day, we got to just relax and be in the moment — she handled everything behind the scenes so we didn’t have to worry about a single logistic detail. She brought a calm, down-to-earth energy the whole way through. Planning a wedding can make you feel a little crazy, but she always made space for our concerns and never made us feel high maintenance. If you’re thinking about hiring her — absolutely do it. She’s truly an expert, knows the Austin wedding scene inside and out, and stays on top of everything. Our wedding came together beautifully and felt like such a true reflection of us, and Nicolet was a huge part of that.

planning our destination wedding in ATX. I had a phone interview with Nicolet and just chatting with her made me feel so at peace - she is wildly organized, calming and has extensive experience in the industry. Because we were not local we were seeking someone who had alot of connections in the Austin wedding vendor circuit and it was evident from Nicolet's background that she checked all our boxes. Nicolet jumped right in, asked me to compile pictures of what I liked (primarily from Pinterest and IG) and she went to work. Within 2 weeks she sent us an entire PDF of the entire wedding design - it was impeccable! She went to various rental companies throughout Austin to find the perfect pink shade for our linens (I was very specific that I did not want barbie or bubblegum pink) and sent us swatches to our home in Seattle. When I tell you she did it all, I mean she did it ALL! We went with the first vendor she recommended for everything ... catering, florals, rentals, DJ, etc and I trusted her without hesitation. Our wedding ended up exceeding all of our expectations - it was the most amazing night of our life and multiple times I found myself sitting back, taking a deep breath and just absorbing what she had created for us. And if the above wasn't impressive enough, she did this is 91 days!!!! Yes, we had a 91 day engagement and Nicolet was the soul reason we pulled it off. TYSM Nicolet - I will forever be indebted to you for giving us the most incredible, whimsical, garden, romantic wedding day. You are one in a million!!

th, and we can’t imagine having done it without her. Her exceptional eye for design was exactly what we needed—especially when we found ourselves wanting to go in a hundred different directions. Nicolet gently guided us, helping us narrow down our vision with precision and care, and the result was absolutely breathtaking. Not only was she endlessly organized, but she also made the entire process so much fun. Nicolet is down to earth, knowledgeable, and professional. From laughing together at tastings to keeping us on track during the more serious moments, Nicolet brought so much joy and ease to our wedding planning journey. She took what could have been a stressful process and turned it into something we’ll always cherish. When the big day arrived, it was absolutely perfect, and we owe so much of that to Nicolet. She handled everything with her signature calm, collected demeanor, ensuring that every detail went smoothly and on time. Because of her, we were able to truly soak in every moment of our day without a single worry. We are so incredibly grateful for Nicolet and everything she did to make our wedding dreams come true.. We will genuinely miss talking to her all the time, and she will always hold a special place in our hearts. If you’re looking for someone who will make your wedding planning experience unforgettable, Nicolet is the one. We recommend her 110%—she’s simply the best!

ge, experience and care to make our wedding vision come to life. We purchased the Design + Coordination package and we are so glad we did! We had ideas and pictures of how we wanted the wedding to look, but Nicolet really helped us elevate the entire design including creating a design deck to share with other vendors. She is extremely knowledgeable about all the wedding vendors and was able to recommend vendors who could give us the look we desired while also staying within our design budget. The wedding day itself went so smoothly, and I am confident that is because Nicolet was working diligently behind the scenes to make our day as smooth as possible so we could enjoy with our family and friends. Her assistance with planning and executing the wedding was truly invaluable and I would use Westcott to plan my wedding a million times over - you won't be disappointed!

ed us through every aspect. The wedding was a dream and we couldn’t be happier with the memories. Thank you Nicolet!

o do lists, she kept us organized & helped us navigate all things vendor related. On the day of the wedding, everything was taken care of by Nicolet/Wescott Weddings. She took care of all the details of the day and we were able to just show up & enjoy the day.

enjoy my wedding weekend, and I know without a doubt that would not have been possible without all the hard work Nicolet put in. These guys are the absolute best! 10000% worth the money. I can’t recommend them enough!

the process as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Nicolet deeply commits to your event and brings her best every day. She is a wedding planning machine keeping everything extremely organized, communicating effectively and frequently, recommending great vendors, and remembering all the little details of your wedding vision. She is also a swift and tactful problem solver that puts your worries at ease. As a person she is so kind, understanding, friendly, and supportive during such a busy time. The day of our wedding Nicolet was a ball of energy directing everything smoothly and effectively. Know that choosing Nicolet guarantees you are in the best hands! By the end she felt like a friend and even my family members raved about her. We are so grateful for everything she did to make our wedding dreams come true. Thank you Nicolet!

nized and extremely detail oriented which made us feel very comfortable putting our big day in her hands, knowing nothing would be overlooked. Her expertise was incredibly valuable and she answered all of my questions with thoughtful responses and patience no matter the topic. We highly recommend Westcott for any couples looking for an experienced, detailed, proactive planner or coordinator. Thank you again, Nicolet!

wedding day, I couldn’t imagine how I would “pull it off”. I flew out to Texas and my daughter and I began our venue crawl. Fast forward to our selection of The Grand Lady I immediately realized that I would need a wedding planner. My prayers were answered when we met Nicolet LaVeau with Westcott Weddings. Nicolet was so knowledgeable with every aspect of the wedding process and understood that I would be working with her long distance. She suggested all the right people, photographers, music, caterers and everything else you could imagine that a great wedding day should have. Budget wise she kept us on track and we know exactly where we stood all the time. She was there for everything including the rehearsal. The day of the wedding she arranged hair and makeup schedules and even brought in breakfast and sandwiches for lunch while we all got ready. She was there until the end making sure everything was perfect. If you want a beautiful and memorable wedding day you must ask Nicolet to be there for you. She was amazing! Thank you Nicolet for making my daughter’s wedding the best day ever!

anization and creativity was above and beyond our expectations! Hope to see you soon. - Janeane & Sean

ng her high season in late summer/fall) - and when I tell you everything went flawlessly, to have been planned via email and video chat! Looking back at photos and reliving wedding weekend - I still have no concept of all the moving parts she had a hand in organizing for our room flips. Saturday's ceremony venue and Friday's rehearsal dinner venue both required teardown/setup/furniture rearranging in 45 minutes (!!!) to bring the reception and welcome party to life. We loved her local vendor recommendations and she was such a calm presence during the flurry of packing/traveling/planning for Day 1 of marriage. Absolutely yes - highly recommend! I keep telling my husband I wish we could celebrate our anniversary with the same exact wedding!

rstood my vision and kept me on task, kept the design honed in and focused - she knew what I wanted more than I did! I trusted Nicolet's instincts wholly and the wedding weekend was seriously perfect. Not one thing went wrong. Nicolet planned our Rehearsal Dinner, Welcome Party and Wedding day/night. Everything was cohesive! One of the most common compliments we get from our wedding day was how well it was organized and how everything flowed so nicely into each other. If I have one piece of advice for brides planning their wedding, it's to get a wedding planner and make sure it's Westcott Weddings!!!!

many planners but none with the attention to detail that Ellen has. Ellen is a true gem of a human, and your next event needs her and her team! :)

every aspect that you would want from a wedding planner. She is highly responsive, detail-oriented, and a clear communicator. I never had to worry about her dropping the ball or forgetting to do something I requested. She makes herself available to provide advice and guidance on any wedding-related issue. She knows how to bring your design vision to life, is connected to excellent vendors, is respected in the event industry, and is cognizant of your budget. She is an advocate for the bride and groom when working with other vendors. Finally, she has the ability to execute the wedding day seamlessly, leaving the couple to experience all the excitement of the day, without stressing about any of the logistics. Nicolet was a true pleasure to work with, and I hope you consider her to guide you through your wedding planning journey!

onal and detail oriented. She was incredibly helpful with keeping track of deadlines and was very communicative throughout the entire process. I couldn’t recommend her more!

of wedding planning. She was super organized and I felt confident that she would remind me of due dates, details and budget. She was recommended to me by a coworker who was also wedding planning and had nothing but great things to say (and she interviewed many planners before selecting Nicolet)! I'm so glad we went with Westcott Weddings and highly recommend them.

s in Austin. I cannot recommend her enough as a wedding planner. The day itself went SO smoothly because of Nicolet's leadership and management of the full vendor team. I also was able to be calm & stress free because I had such trust in her ability to make the day go perfectly. Plus, she is so easy to get along with. Can't thank Nicolet enough for helping create the best weekend of our lives.

execute with Nicolet's leadership. She helped us from the very beginning to end, and it was the best decision we made. We interviewed many planners and Nicolet stood out to us immediately. Nicolet is very detail-oriented, creative, collaborative and trustworthy. We always felt like, "if Nicolet's got it, we know it'll be okay and turn out amazing." She gave us peace of mind throughout the entire process and made our day even better than we could have imagined. Plus, she's so fun and kind and truly a friend. I couldn't recommend her enough!!!

s super organized, patient, calm, available and responded to every thought/vision/need we expressed. She had access to all the best vendors and she clearly has a stellar reputation with all of them. I was so calm the day of the wedding (which goes against type) because I knew everything was handled. Her above and beyond moment was when we gave her a credit card and in the midst of reception, she ordered 40 tacos to be delivered to our suite for all our “late night” guests to enjoy when the DJ wrapped at midnight. So many people told us it was one their favorite weddings and felt so “us.” That is all because of Nicolet putting the dreams into reality. You will be so lucky if she is available to make your wedding day come to life.

know we needed. A wedding is the culmination of so many small details and Nicolet was incredible in guiding us through it all. Westcott was far and away the best money we spent--resulting in an unforgettable weekend we'll cherish forever. You're only getting married once. You don't have all the answers but it's alright because you'll have Nicolet.

l times helpful, creative, prompt, knowledgeable, resourceful, and professional. She has a calm, competent demeanor and “can do” attitude that serves her and her clients well. She is truly one of the hardest working individuals I’ve had the pleasure to work with. I myself was very hands on with this wedding and I think my expectations were fairly high. Nicolet met and exceeded them. I just can’t say enough about what a great resource and team member she was. She really is a Wedding Wizard! As an out of town MOB it was important to me to have an Austin based planning partner. You will be in good hands with Westcott Weddings and I appreciate too that their prices are reasonable. I know from doing my research you can pay more, but in my opinion you can't get better!

bunch of approved vendors searching for a reason to forgo one. Then we had a call with Nicolet. I really liked her calmness and enthusiasm and her sense of humor. She was the rock we needed for our wedding. When she asked for a pinterest board of designs and colors I was interested in, I sent over 3 completely different boards. Somehow, she managed to use elements from each one to come up with something cohesive while highlighting my Asian and French cultures. Her contacts, organization, gentle reminders, everything she did to keep us on track helped minimize my wedding anxiety. She fully encouraged us to hire alpacas (2nd best decision, 1st being Nicolet!), worked with different vendors to execute our vision to a T while staying within our budget, and maintained her good humor throughout it all. I wish I could hire her for every small and big event. Can't say enough about her. She's amazing and won't let you down.

pportunity to work with her as a vendor prior to my own wedding and was immediately impressed by her attention to detail and communication skills. As a vendor, she made my life easy and enjoyable so I could just focus on my work and the couple that was getting married. The vendor-planner relationship might seem trivial, but I can’t stress how important it is to have someone that can flawlessly organize a complex event with a great attitude. When your vendors are happy and calm, they are able to produce their best work, and that is what you want on your wedding day! When it was my turn to be the bride, I knew I wanted Nicolet on our team and she did not disappoint. Our day was absolutely STUNNING and ran so smoothly! She truly cares about each of her couples and has the ability to make you and your partner feel like you are her only clients. Working with her felt like such a privilege and I could not be more grateful to her for making our day a magical one. THANK YOU, NICOLET!!

t of my depth when we first started, and Nicolet was an excellent partner in connecting us to vendors, helping us make our random ideas into an actual plan/vibe. So many of our friends and family are still talking about the wedding months later! It was a great experience and very helpful.

colet felt more like a friend than a planner by the end; we felt supported, productive, prepared and at ease the entire time thanks to her guidance. We could not recommend Westcott Weddings more!

is super professional, has several great connections with vendors that just makes the entire planning process so much easier, is extremely talented at design, and most importantly, she's fun! I was never stressed out during the planning process or even on our wedding day because Nicolet was always on top of it. Even when things changed at the last minute, she had everything under control. Our wedding was beautiful, ran so smoothly, and was such a great time and we truly have Nicolet to thank for that. To top it off, our guests and families love her. She is so intentional with her work and it's clear that she is very passionate about what she does.

sionals with demanding jobs and could not have pulled off our 200 person wedding without her. She was excellent at responding to emails and was always willing to pick up the phone when we needed to chat live. We were very happy with the vendors she recommended and she was great at guiding us through the pros and cons of all the options she presented. Whenever we had ideas from other weddings we attended, she was very willing and happy to incorporate them into the plan. All in all, great experience and would highly recommend!

e involved in putting on a wedding. She even managed to get discounts for some pretty big items by sharing with other couples who were getting married at the same venue. I recommend Westcott Weddings for any couple (no matter what your budget). They are reliable, knowledgeable and fun to work with :) Thank you for everything Nicolet! We couldn't have done it without you!

er communication was always thorough and prompt, and she went above and beyond to help us every step of the way (she even picked up, stuffed, stamped, and mailed our invitations because we live in another city!). Seriously-- she is the best. We never had to stress or worry about the details because we knew Nicolet had it all under control. By the time our wedding came around, we were so excited for her to be a part of our day because we felt like friends! Nicolet, THANK YOU for all that you did for us!! We are forever grateful!!!

s such a joy and pleasure to work with, extremely professional in every way! Not only did she listen and understand my daughter’s vision for the wedding, but she helped execute it flawlessly. Ellen was excellent with follow-up and follow- through , always responded promptly to emails, scheduled numerous video meetings with us, had great rapport with all the vendors, and offered thoughtful advice and creative ideas. Her calm demeanor and personality definitely helped keep me calm throughout the process. Even under pressure, when the weather unexpectedly turned colder and we needed to get heaters to our outdoor venue, she was able to reach out to the rental company and add them to our order which had already been closed out. Ellen kept us on track and in budget and truly went above and beyond! During the actual wedding, she and Sydney were both an amazing team and kept everything running smoothly! I highly recommend Ellen Westcott and Westcott Weddings!

s can do her skill justice. She's the wedding planner of all wedding planners. A superwoman. The gal you want next to you always. Who you hope will be planning weddings in 30 years so she can plan your daughter's! My now husband and I got engaged February 2020 right before COVID hit. We scheduled a Tulum wedding for Noc 2021 but moved it due to the delta variant. When we made the difficult decision to move it, we decided on moving it to Austin. So I knew I needed a wedding planner to help me out. Both of us are physicians and are always strapped on time so needed someone who was unequivocally on the ball. I talked to several wedding planners, but when I talked to Nicolet, I knew she was the one. Nicolet has the uncanny ability to be who you need to be, sometimes your best friend handing out the hard truth, sometimes supportive mom energy, or handing out sage financial advice. She can truly do it all. As for her skill? We had the privilege of working with her for our Friday Sangeet and Saturday Ceremony + Reception. She executed all of it flawlessly. If there were hiccups, I definitely did not notice. She cares about your vision and wants to make everything you want happen and come to life. She's diligent, beyond hard-working, and so timely with her communication. Never once was a late email or a forgotten communication. Nicolet surpassed any expectations we could even dream of. As for her design skills? Out of this frikking world. Everyone remarked on how beautiful, organized, and well-thought-out our wedding was. I can tell you right now- that was completely her! We feel so dang lucky. Most importantly, she is such a kind lovely gentle human! We sat back and got to relax because we knew Nicolet always "had" it. I'm so thrilled I had the privilege of working with her and hope you do too! We adore you Nicolet! - V + Duncan

ASAP! She was quick to respond, wise in her thoughts, and made me feel so special. I had the best time working with her, and can't recommend her enough to others. Her preparedness made me feel so at ease throughout the whole process! I am so grateful to have worked with her - and have a friend in her forever!!

beyond to solve any problems and speak for our requests. Nicolet is incredibly thorough and organized. Working with Westcott Weddings was the best decision we made for our wedding.

t to wait any longer! So we had to start over and plan our wedding in 5 months. At this point, I was totally burnt out from wedding planning but Nicolet was able to spark my flare back up very quickly after working together. I booked her for day of planning + design services which was just perfect for me. I can manage sourcing vendors but when it comes to design, I totally struggle. Nicolet has a very calm presence and brings great energy to any situation. I couldn't have asked for a better partner in crime! Our wedding turned out SO beautiful and I couldn't have done it without Nicolet's support. If you're considering Westcott Weddings, don't wait any longer and request Nicolet :)
