Western Sky Wedding & Event Venue

We absolutely loved our venue! Immediately when we saw western sky, we knew it was the venue for us. We worked with Lindsay a majority of the time, and Becca when Lindsay was out of office. They were both wonderful and answered all the questions I asked. They made sure that all the details I wanted were correct from the bar menu to the seating and table arrangements. Western sky is an affordable, but beautiful rustic venue. It was bittersweet getting married here and the decorations looked perfect everywhere. There was enough space to have a good dance floor and we absolutely loved getting married under the white chapel. Thank you to the western Sky staff, Lindsay, and Becca for everything. I’m so thankful for everyone helping make our dream wedding!

Western Sky was my dream venue! Becca made it really easy to stay in the loop about things at the venue. You cannot beat the photos you get and the draping inside! We looked at it before they did renovations then after and still loved it. So ecstatic my husband and I chose to start our new chapter here!

We absolutely loved our wedding at Western Sky! Lindsay was so helpful from day one and definitely helped this COVID bride with the many stresses and plan changes that come with planning a wedding during a pandemic. Lindsay was just amazing and helped guide us to where we needed to be. Day of, the venue was just magical, even with the drizzle and rain. I am so thrilled that we chose Western Sky for our venue and we loved every second of it.

Western Sky was wonderful! The venue is beautiful and Becca was so great to work with. They are super accommodating, answered questions quickly and made me feel so comfortable. The bride and groom suites are beautiful and worked so well for us. It poured on our day but the back up plan was beautiful and we still had the beautiful outside as our backdrop. I would highly recommend!

Western Sky was the second venue that I saw while on my search for a wedding venue! Lindsey was beyond sweet and made everything so easy! The venue was everything that I needed and wanted for my dream day! It was open and huge for all everyone that wanted to keep their distance during my COVID wedding! Lindsey was up front about everything and made the whole process with the details meeting incredibly stress free! Between my amazing wedding planner, Krista, and Lindsey assisting with making everything smooth and stress free! We were able to do our engagements with longhorns and on the grounds of Tejas and it was so much fun! The longhorns were extra hungry and very friendly with our peppers! The venue has so many photo options and is in a great central location and easy to travel to! IT was beautiful and breath taking!

The staff was so friendly and they made my wedding a dream come true. Beautiful venue, gorgeous bridal and groom suites and the bartenders were super friendly. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend.

Western Sky is an amazing venue!!!!!!! The owners and wedding advisor are outstanding. They are very professional and easy to work with. She helped us walk through the process and any extra wishes my daughter-n-law and son had they made it happen. Dealing with covid made it a lot more difficult. They have two different set ups for an outside wedding to pick from. The hall is so beautiful you need very little decorations. The hall also allows your guest to comfortable enjoy the reception from inside or the large front and back porches give additional seating and allows room to enjoy an outside experience on a beautiful ranch with plenty of room for kids to play. I highly recommend Western Sky for your wedding and any other large event you may be planning.

Western Sky is the best bang for your buck! The beautiful property, diligent staff, and classy country feel are easily what won us over. Becca and her staff went above and beyond to cater to all of our needs. Can’t wait to go back to Western Sky for one of their summer rodeos too!

This venue is beautiful!!! Becca Is amazing and so helpful! My husband and I are so glad we choose this venue. The venue alone is beautiful enough to stand on it's own but throw in the amazing staff and this venue is PERFECT!

My wife and I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Western Sky. The venue is beautiful (check out the updates if you haven't). There were two outdoor options for the ceremony, and a rain backup plan that we really appreciated. The reception area is enormous, so you don't feel cramped (we had 175+ people). The bar was a huge draw. There's nothing worse than a big line at the bar, but this setup avoids a lot of that traffic. This was one of the only vendors that actually had forms that said "bride and bride" on it. Most places lined through "groom" or left off one of our names. We had to correct people over and over again that we were two brides getting married (which we noted in all of our emails), but Western Sky/Becca got it right from the start and always made us feel comfortable. This was HUGE for us. They even made the "groom's suite" more feminine so that both of us felt special while getting ready. Becca answered so many emails, an insane number of questions, and was flexible, attentive, and kind from beginning to end. I really cannot say enough good things about her. She was one of our favorite people to work with and we were so lucky!! Overall, Western Sky is the best. We visited many venues, and it was no contest. I have already recommended this venue to several people! Our guests loved it and had such nice things to say. THANK YOU so much for making our wedding day absolutely perfect.

Our wedding at Western Sky was absolutely perfect! Our venue coordinator, Becca, made sure all of our needs were taken care of and that we had a plan for everything in advance. The day itself was beautiful, and the venue was setup exactly as we requested. All of the vendors that Becca recommended delivered 5-star service, and my husband and I weren’t once stopped with questions. We just enjoyed our magical day in this elegant, country chic setting.

Western Sky at Tejas Rodeo is the best gem in the Texas Hill Country by far! Not only was the venue beautiful but the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Lindsay and Becca walked Tyler and I through the process of everything we needed to do to make our dream wedding happen. The venue is beautiful! What was even more unique about this place ya that firing rodeo season the guests can continue to celebrate at the Tejas grounds with a live band! It was perfect. Will definitely recommend this place!

It’s difficult to find the exact words to say on how amazing Western Sky is and how perfect it was for my wedding. To begin, working with Lindsay was FOR SURE a divine intervention. God knew that I needed her in my life! Her loving nature, patience and professionalism is one of a kind. The facility is beyond beautiful, and it gave me everything I wanted for my wedding; a beautiful outdoor ceremony and a unique inside reception. When I started my search for a wedding venue, I told Lindsay that I wasn’t for sure that I wanted a “real” wedding, however she reassured me that it would be worth it and I would never regret it. She was right, and I’ll never forget that day or all that Lindsay and Western Sky did for me, my husband, and my children. Thank you for memories that will last a lifetime!!!

Amazing! Beautiful grounds, beautiful reception area, such a perfect combination of rustic and chic. Our wedding was gorgeous and so us and went perfectly there! The outdoor pics we got are my absolute favorite! Everyone raved about how beautiful it was! Would recommend in a heartbeat for anyone looking for a hill country wedding :)

BEST. EXPERIENCE. EVER! We had the wedding of our dreams at Western Sky. SO many compliments on the venue!! It’s far enough from town to feel like you’re deep in the hill country, but still close enough for guests. You can fit just about any wedding theme here. The venue is so beautiful - you don’t need very much decor. Lindsay was amazing to work with. Anytime I’d call freaking out about something, her calm and friendly demeanor made me feel better instantly. There was no question she couldn’t answer. Even the day of, both her and Becca were there and ready to help. We really can’t say enough great things!! 10/10 recommend booking Western Sky!

This venue is more gorgeous than the photos can ever justify. I have had so many compliments since my wedding on how beautiful the ceremony location(s) and reception area are. Becca Roach, the venue coordinator, was so sweet and helpful and answered every question imaginable. I am so glad my husband and I decided to go with Western Sky as our venue. The location is secluded enough to have breathtaking views and close enough to the city to be obtainable for out of town guests. The bartenders that are also part of the venue were so nice and had also received compliments from the guests of our wedding. I wish we could have every big event in my family at this venue and will definitely recommend to others!

This venue is amazing. My husband and I had our wedding here on May 11,2019 and we couldn’t be more happy with the services we received. Becca the venue manager was amazing to work with any questions I had were answered promptly and she made sure there was no doubts in the decisions we made. Our guest raved about how beautiful the inside hall as well as the outside chapel was. There is simply no words to describe how happy my husband and I our to make our first memories as husband and wife together here at Western Sky. It was beyond my wildest dreams. The bride and groom dressing rooms where amazing. Everything was simply beautiful!

Western Sky was a dream of a venue. It's rustic elegance and ranch chic design and structures make for me most gorgeous wedding! You cannot beat the space, photo ops and lovely staff here at Western Sky. Becca, one of the venue coordinators, was so fun and easy to work with while I was planning my wedding at Western Sky. She was quick to answer any and every question I had and made sure my special day went perfectly! Along with Becca's superb customer service and friendly help, the entire staff at Western Sky and Tejas Rodeo were amazing to work with! We loved the venue so much we had our rehearsal dinner down the hill from Western Sky at the Tejas Rodeo venue as well. I had countless wedding guests and family members come to us after our wedding and brag so much about the venue. You truly cannot find a more perfect and beautiful hill country venue. The ceremony site we chose (by the white bride and stream) is something you'd see in a movie. Absolutely LOVE Western Sky and would 10/10 recommend the venue to any bride searching for the perfect place to get married. :)

What a beautiful venue. I am a wedding planner and I was so impressed with this facility. Their customer service was fantastic and Becca made sure that I was happy, my bride was happy and she was very hands-on. The one thing thing I appreciated the most (and so did my bride) was that the venue was so beautiful you didn't need to add much decor which was a huge money saver! The wedding pictures will be phenomenal given all the beautiful areas where you can take pictures. What a gem!!! I highly recommend this venue.

The Western Sky was the perfect spot for our wedding reception. The moment my husband and I saw it we knew that is where we wanted all of our family and friends to gather. The planning and communication with Becca went well and we are so happy with the overall outcome. The rustic yet elegant charm to it was absolutely perfect for our style. While we did not have our actual ceremony there, the available spaces for a ceremony our beautiful as well. There are a few churches close by for those who want to wed in a church like we did. It was a short drive for all of our guests. The cabins were also amazing for our immediate families to stay in during our wedding weekend!

Western Sky Wedding and Event Venue was hands down the absolute BEST place we could have had our wedding!! From the very beginning, Becca made it so easy and comfortable to work with her and she was always happy to accommodate for us and help us plan our most favorite day. We felt like we were the only wedding that Becca was helping coordinate because of her quick response and willingness to make this day about us and our wants. When we first visited the venue, we knew that this was the place we wanted to get married. Not only did it fit within our budget, but the place is GORGEOUS! With it being just outside San Antonio, it is in an intimate, rustic setting, yet it's still possible for guests to easily make it and find the location. The venue has many locations to have the ceremony outside, but with Texas's July heat we decided to have it inside, and Becca was quick to make that dream come true! The venue is both rustic and elegant with beautiful fabric draping the ceiling and chandeliers, big wooden tables that don't need any tablecloths, a creek and bridge outside with lights from the trees at night, cute rocking chairs on the front and back porches, and an elegant bridal suite and fun groom's suite. Our wedding was absolutely stress free, and I believe that comes from having it at a venue that works with your wants and makes it possible for you to have your dream day. I was also able to take my bridals at the venue beforehand which allowed my photographer to see the venue and start figuring out her ideal places for photos on our big day. On our wedding day, we were able to have the venue from the morning until late at night, which made it possible for us to enjoy a slow morning without stressing about making sure everything was in place before guests arrived. Becca was present the day of and was easily accessible for any last minute questions, yet she was not overbearing in any way. The bridal suite was big enough for all 11 of my bridesmaids/house party to get ready along with my mom and aunt. We even found mimosas in the room the day of which was such a sweet touch! Becca made sure the transition between the ceremony and reception went smoothly since we had to rearrange the room from having the ceremony inside. Our guests are still raving about how gorgeous the venue was and how fun that day was. We had very simple centerpieces of succulents, baby's breath, and candles because the venue didn't not need much decorating since it's already beautiful on its own. The sound system was phenomenal and the air conditioner was superb (especially with guests moving back and forth from being inside and outside throughout the night with the Texas heat). I couldn't recommend Western Sky more! It was one of our best decisions from our day!! If you choose Western Sky, you definitely will not regret your decision!

Having our wedding at Western Sky was a dream. We wanted to show our out of town guests the best parts of Central Texas - the hilly and rustic country, the beautiful city of San Antonio and the food! The location is just far enough out of SA proper to be quiet and natural, but close enough to feel connected to the culture and amenities of the city. Becca is a natural at working with brides and their families. She accommodated our requests and worked with us on our budget, while being enjoyable and personable. True Flavor really wowed our guests. They are gifted and creative artists that make amazingly tasty food. People were talking about the food (especially the mac & cheese) for months! The food and bar costs were definitely not as scary as the stories we'd heard of exclusive catering and bar services. Great place for engagement and wedding day photos, especially if you can find a natural light photographer. If you're looking for a casual, beautiful setting, this hits the spot. If you're looking for elegant and rustic, this hits the spot. It was a beautiful foundation to build our wedding off. The only reason for 4 stars out of 5 is that the lighting inside of the venue is a bit difficult to work with for photography. Make sure your photographer visits ahead of time, if possible and brings the right equipment to adjust!

Beautiful, elegant, & rustic; a hidden gem north of San Antonio. Western Sky is a beautiful location, we hosted our reception here and everything was great! We were able to set up and get ready on site in their wonderful bridal suite. They made sure we had everything we needed which was minimal because the decor is already so great! The only decorations we needed were centerpieces, table cloths, frames, and cake stands. My favorite additions currently are the big heavy wooden tables and the fabric tied to the ceiling and chandeliers. The guests loved the location and we were even able to go to attend the rodeo dance at Tejas after the wedding!

How do you write a review when words won't describe how wonderful our wedding and experience at Western Sky was. From the very first tour to the end of our blissfull night we had a great experience. Tom was our coordinator and was with us every step of the way from planning the littlest of details to reminding us of a deadline and things we hadn't even thought of yet. We were calm and ready for the big day knowing that everything was taken care of. It is a beautiful venue with something to offer everyone. From the longhorns when you pull up, to the striking building and beautiful grounds we were spoiled to have this site. The food was delicious, the drinks cold and the dance floor was never empty. Thank you Western Sky for making our most important day stunning, easy, affordable, and memorable. The staff is professional, timely to respond, courtious, flexible, and honest. Western sky worked with all our vendors to make the day go without a hitch. Would reccommend this site for any wedding, party or celebration!!

Where to begin? Tejas Rodeo Company just opened a new venue called Western Sky Tejas. I was the first wedding there! What an amazing experience! From the owners to the managers, food service staff and bartenders, even the clean up crew, through and through the most caring, genuine, and accommodating people! My day was PERFECT! When I arrived, they had snacks and champagne in the bridal room, (yes, bridal room, not some closet or bathroom, an actual beautifully designed room!), the grooms ROOM was the same with beer and a meat tray, I thought, "wow, this is perfect!". The venue is so beautifully designed! The Bridal Suite has tables and mirrors for all your ladies, and a special mirrored room for the bride. The Grooms Room, has leather furniture and with a cute bar table. The Bar had a rustic Chuck wagon that adds a great focal point to the western themed open and spacious venue. The outside is breathtaking. That's where I got married. I know what you're thinking, "outside, in south Texas, in JULY!?". Hot, right? No, the way the venue is set up, the sun hides behind the building providing enough shade for you and your guests to be comfortably in the shade by 7. I had my wedding at 6, which put us in the "spotlight", with the sun setting on us! It was beautiful! The bridge over the lazy river and gazebo make an excellent backdrop for wedding pictures. Kelly, the venue manager, was so accommodating! She knew I was going back and fourth with having the wedding outside or inside even to the day of the wedding, and planned both, just incase I changed my mind at the last minuet. She communicated everything with me. From chairs, food, set up, to clean up and every detail in-between. We had Tejas, cater our wedding and the final decision wasn't only based on the amazing food, it was based on the catering manager Todd! What a sweetheart, he was there with Kelly every step of the way making sure everything was perfect! When we went to our tasting and meet him, we were floored with his genuine hospitality and passion for his business and food! The food was incredible, and all of my guests were pleased and couldn't wait to tell me, "you are so beautiful and this food is amazing!" I can't say enough about my experience with the Tejas Rodeo staff! WOW! I HIGHLY recommend getting married in such a special place!
