Our wedding day was magical and one of the best days of our lives. Cydney, owner of Westgate Events, and her team, executed flawlessly on all of our hopes and wishes and came to the table with fantastic ideas of their own. From start to finish they were consummate professionals, dialed in on the details, and helped create a seamless event. We could not have asked for a more dedicated tastemaker (and ultimately friend) working to make everything happen. From the details, to the design assistances, vendor coordination (and buffering with the vendors!), and execution, everything turned out beyond expectations. Cydney is consistent, available, caring and kind. Something in short supply these days. You will not be disappointed! We still talk about what a fabulous day it was and we think we will never stop talking about it.

I am a local officiant who had the pleasure of working one of Cydney's recent weddings. First, I appreciated how she facilitated the communication between the couple and me. Second, her communication with me (and my guess is all other vendors) was clear and helpful leading up to the wedding. All good wedding planners will do these things to make the day easy for their couples. However, once I arrived to the actual wedding, I was exceedingly impressed! The couple hosted their wedding at their home and I could see, hear, and feel every detail that Cydney and her team had seen to, from the many and gorgeous flower displays to the pickleball-court-turned-dancefloor, and everything in between. The wedding was a hive of multi-level activity, buzzing with guests, vendors, and one very happy couple. Nice job, Cydney!

In all transparency when we were planning the wedding we thought "oh we do not need a wedding coordinator " and this would have been the first thing we cut out of our budget BUT I highly recommend you do not cut this cost. This is a MUST HAVE at your wedding. Cydney was worth every single penny!! Cydney genuinely cares about your day and wants it to be perfect. She was always available whenever we had a questions and quick to respond. Cydney was so knowledgeable about every single detail and knew exactly what to do and how to resolve any issue that could arise. Our day was perfect because of Cydney. Cydney at Westgate Events created a dream destination wedding for our daughter Claire and her husband Adrian in Arizona in March of 2023! Every detail was carried out to perfection! Cydney is professional, experienced, and has a great reputation with the Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, AZ vendors. She is so knowledgeable and creative! She also helped us map out a game plan from start to finish and has a great eye for detail! The wedding was at Mountain Shadows in Paradise Valley, AZ and she even helped us with the engagement photo shoot last August at another AZ venue. I can honestly say my wedding was the best day of my life. And a huge portion of this was thanks to Cydney and her team. Her attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and all her amazing resources truly made the entire planning process feel easy. She went above and beyond our exceptions, she even rearranged all the chairs down the aisle in an S-curve until it was perfect all by herself in the Arizona heat. She really was a joy, I am sad it's all over! To this day, I still get texts about how beautiful and fun my wedding was.

I could not RAVE about Cydney/Westgate Designs more! She was so incredibly responsive throughout the year and a half that we worked together (more than I would have ever imagined or expected from a partial planner), and she has the most immaculate eye for detail. To top that off, Cydney is the kindest and most thoughtful person to work with throughout the planning process! We had to coordinate close to 10 different vendors for my venue, from lighting to rentals to floral to signage-you name it! I had the best experience with Cydney, she made my dream wedding come to life. From start to finish I could not have asked for a more dedicated visionary working to make everything happen. The detail to the design and the execution of how everything turned out was beyond expectations. I used Cydney as a partial planner but she was more than a partial planner, she was hands on attentive to me for a full year. Most partial planners take charge within the last few weeks but Cydney went above and beyond for us. Cydney is AMAZING! I recently got married in Scottsdale and can't say enough good things. If I had to do it over again (gladly!) I wouldn't change a thing, especially working with Cydney. As a TV producer I have a lot of respect for anyone who tackles - and more importantly multi-tasks - big events. I talked with 10+ wedding planners before I had the pleasure of meeting with Cydney and after 2 minutes I already knew without a doubt who would be planning my wedding. It’s hard to put into words what Cydney did for us and our destination wedding in Mexico. We started planning this well over a year ago and interviewed a number of planners across the country but from the very first second we talked to Cydney we knew she was the perfect planner for us and the search was over. My husband Justin and I live a very busy life, constantly traveling due to him playing in the NFL and not much time to sit down and have long conversations about the wedding which I’m sure could probably be frustrating to a planner but Cydney never skipped a beat. Any time of the day we would text or call her with a question about the wedding she was there. If we had a random 10 minutes to get on a call she never once hesitated and would drop any and everything she was doing to help talk us through it. I was very nervous about planning a huge destination wedding in Mexico while living in Arizona and just thinking about all the vendors I would have to find while making sure I got the best rates for my guests but Cydney did absolutely everything to make sure our wedding weekend was perfect and the prices were exactly where we wanted them to be. She not only came up with a vision but found every vendor for that vision and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. From the florist to the welcome bags, piñatas for every room, playing cards with our dogs face on them, custom cups with our logo, and even building an entire pergola for my 150 guests to sit under with twinkling lights for my reception (and that’s just to name a few things) she truly thought of it all and mind you she was basically translating for a year straight with everyone in Mexico which absolutely blew my mind because she doesn’t speak Spanish but somehow everyone understood her lol! When you think of what you want in a wedding planner you want someone who’s going to get things done, know you’re vision but not bombard you with 1000 questions a day, be direct in asking for all the things you need but kind at the same time, you want someone who’s going to save you money in places you didn’t even think you could save money, someone with amazing taste to help bring your wedding dreams to life but most importantly you want someone who’s going to go above and beyond for you in every single aspect of your wedding to make sure the most important day of your life is absolutely perfect and I can tell you that Cydney was THAT wedding planner.

Cydney and her team at Westgate Events were amazing! So professional, reliable and helped make my wedding dreams come true! We had a few bumps along the road and thank goodness we had Cydney and her team to rely on to help us navigate everything! This company is the best and I will recommend them to anyone and everyone!
