Westgate Sportsman's Club

and I only viewed other places "just to see" but the entire time kept comparing to Westgate. The view was as gorgeous as you could imagine and we heard nonstop discussion about it. The downstairs was spacious and cool, with a door directly to the ceremony site. It was open and homey and made my anxiety easy; also includes a bathroom! The staff were polite and sweet the entire night, you could tell they enjoy their job and are genuine. I constantly had them coming to me asking for confirmation on if I'd like stuff left out longer or brought back, but never to a level that felt pestering. The food was delicious-- upset I didn't have more! They were so accommodating and also allowed us to tweak the menu to add items. I honestly never had a poor communication experience the entire time. She was so quick to respond to anything, gave me updated numbers whenever asked, and was warm and inviting. I never felt awkward or out of place, which can be hard as a bride. A lot of vendors and experiences I felt shunned or judged, or just not 'perfectly' bridal but not here. We laughed, she asked if I needed help, and she made ways to make things easier on my anxiety. The venue physically was clean and organized. I've already recommended them to one person IRL and I plan on readily recommending them for other locations. Unlike other venues, I wasn't forced or required to spend thousands upon thousands. They were budget friendly and you got exactly what you paid for and more.

general manager was amazing and very accommodating. Food was complimented by all. Lots of space in basement for girls to get ready in the morning. There was lots of decor at the venue for us to use. The views from the venue are gorgeous. We utilized a separate building on the ground for the guys to hang out at and it was perfect.

what we wanted, investigated every single ingredient in the foods she prepared to accommodate our food allergies, and made us feel so cared for all the way around. She has a variety of decorations in the storage room that we had access to use as we saw fit and we didn't really need to bring much of our own. It was greatly appreciated and made it all so much easier! Also, as the first LGBTQ couple to get married at Westgate, we never once regretted our decision! Sarah made sure that we felt included and safe. She welcomed us in every aspect! We would recommend Westgate to any couple!
