g up to it. It was a beautiful venue, we used the Timber Barn and it was perfect for our guests and wedding party. The event staff were so helpful during the ceremony and reception, and it was amazing to have chairs and tables included (and set up!) for us when we went to decorate the day before. When we took couples portraits it was awesome to be able to drive around the beautiful property and get to take a wide variety of shots with our photographer. I highly recommend this location to any couple!

ich was exactly what we were looking for. The reason I gave three stars was the communication problems and clarity on contract things between the staff, the contract, and me. I was told multiple different things from different people throughout our entire experience. These things included when money was due, capacity of the venue, and times we could get into/needed to be out of venues. This was more of an inconvenience on my part having to clarify multiple times. The thing that bothered me the most was that I was told I needed to have all my things/vendors/etc out of the venue by midnight. Around 10:30/11pm their workers came in and start blowing out candles, throwing drinks with Koozies on them away, picking up centerpieces/table cloths/table runners and throwing them away. These were 1) not only my items I paid for and my guests' drinks/koozies but 2) I had the facility rented until midnight. Nowhere did it say I had the facility rented until midnight but they would clean up at 10:30 while my guests and I were still there. I felt rushed during my own reception which is something I did not want to feel. The venue was beautiful and was cheaper, but ended up coming with the cost of added stress, lack of communication and feeling rushed to get out at my own reception.

He went out of his way to make every part of our day exactly the way we dreamed! Our day was effected by COVID 19, we were to be married in May and had less than 3 weeks when the states began to shut down. My fiancé and I are from out of state and Donovan was the first vendor to reach out to us and assure us we would be ok. While changes were happening in each state Donovan kept us updated, answered our calls and texts immediately and supported us through either canceling, changing dates, or moving forward with a small gathering. He never once pressured us into a decision! Once we did decide to move our day to one of his remaining available Friday dates in 2020 he worked with us on new pricing and even offered to let us do an elopement at the venue on our original date if we wished! He did everything to make us feel comfortable and at ease with our choices though this pandemic! I am incredibly thankful he was there for us when so much was unknown! I know he works with so many brides but, I never once felt like we weren't the most important couple he had. He and his entire team treat everyone with so much respect!

Aside from having our dream outdoor wedding ceremony in a such beautiful place, we could not have been more pleased with the amazing customer service that Donovan and his father Steve provided from the very first day that my then fiancé and I toured the venue all the way up until the wedding day. Donovan went above and beyond! Our questions were always answered very quickly and Donovan was always available very readily for anything that was needed. The owner Steve even dropped by on the day of the wedding to make sure that everything was going okay after we finished taking our pictures and we thought that was very nice. These guys truly care about what they do and it definitely shows! I wouldn’t even hesitate or think twice about booking your wedding at this venue. We feel truly blessed that we were able to have our wedding during these crazy times of COVID-19 and even more lucky that we were able to have our wedding at such a beautiful location. Huge thank you to Donovan and Steve for your amazing customer service!

We were worried about heating the venue the day of and a staff member called a company and did all the work to get us some heaters to rent. This venue has a couple year wait, but it was totally worth it. I really had an amazing experience.

Our wedding was a dream and I can't imagine having it somewhere else than the Timber Barn!

Our wedding was in early June, so everything was bloomed and the landscape was stunning alongside the beautiful timber barn! I would definitely pick this place again if I had to redo things and I would absolutely recommend my friends and family to check it out as well.

nue agreed with no problem, however they did not send an updated contract. The deposit was paid thinking everything was okay and "save the date" cards were sent with the Friday date. The bride and groom visited the venue again about 6 months before the wedding to finalize details. It was at this time they were told the venue had them down for the Sunday and that the Friday date had since been booked. So less than six months until the wedding in October, they did not have a venue. The problem was The Red Barn would not return their deposit and to this day still has not. In a scramble to find another venue, they were very successful when they found the beautiful venue not far away at Eighteen Ninety. Lesson learned - get everything in writing and check and double check. I would not use this venue because they did not return the deposit and it was the venue's mistake they would not own up to.

pulled up, I knew it was the one! The hilltop barn and the stunning views immediately caught my eye. The structure and layout of the barn was exactly what I was looking for. On top of the beautiful property, what really sold me was my initial visit and correspondence with Steve and Donovan. They were so welcoming, kind, patient and honest. During the planning process, Donovan was responsive and promptly answered all my questions. He referred me to so many wonderful vendors and allowed me to visit the property numerous times during the planning process. He worked with us to accommodate our final guest count of 250+ and offered great suggestions on how to maximize the space. On our wedding day, the venue was set up as promised and literally everything was PERFECT! We had an outdoor ceremony overlooking the rolling hills. We utilized the brick area outside the barn for our cocktail hour and seated guests under the covered patio and inside the barn for our reception. We received endless compliments from our guests on the venue, cleanliness of the facilities and the stunning views! We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to get married, and only have the best things to say about our entire experience. Thank you, Donovan, Steve and the entire staff at Weston Red Barn Farm for making July 7th, 2018 the most perfect day!

It was designed with thought from every angle, barely needs any embellishment & is so versatile, not to mention to AMAZING views no matter what direction you face! We planned this wedding long distance (from Los Angeles) over two years. Donovan was fantastic about communicating from the day we committed. He was very flexible with allowing us to visit multiple times, very clear about about to maximize our time & space & on the wedding day, I found he was a positive presence who seemed just as enthusiastic about the wedding as we were (despite the fact that we does this multiple times a weekend every weekend). The wedding was everything we wanted it to be & more. At the center of it was this fantastic barn on a hill. I highly recommend Weston Red Barn Farm.

Leading up to the wedding, Donovan was extremely patient with all of my questions and many visits as I worked to plan the setup. He shared photos and tips to help me brainstorm the setup I wanted for the reception, offered advice on other vendors, and was just overall so super friendly. He makes a point to know you as a person instead of just as a customer. We were married in the Red Barn on May 12th, 2018 and received so many compliments on the location. The views are gorgeous, photo opportunities are endless, and the facilities/grounds the venue offers are comfortable and clean. It really is a well-run ship and a place we've since enjoyed visiting during store hours for apple-picking and visiting the farm animals. I should note that when we visited again after our wedding, Donovan made a point to come over and say hello to us. If you're looking for a venue that offers a beautiful outdoor setting for your ceremony with a comfortable plan B option in the barn with the crazy Midwest weather, then Weston Red Barn is the place for you. or stuffy. We wanted more of a laid back, fun, natural vibe, and that is what we got. The red barn was so open and spacious! We did our ceremony there also in the orchard near the red barn. The morning of our wedding the apple trees started blooming, so it could not have been more perfect. This was probably one of the most easiest decisions my husband and I made during our whole planning process. Donovan and everyone we came into contact with at the barn were always so friendly and helpful. Donovan was super awesome with communicating and really down to earth, which made me feel really comfortable. I was able to ask him any question and he was always more than happy to answer. I was all about the barn and the spectacular views, but if price is more important, they are very affordable! You will not be disappointed if you book your special day at the Weston Red Barn Farm!

d my vision. The Timber barn itself is spectacular. My June 2 wedding was more beautiful than I could have imagined with that backdrop! Everything that day ran smoothly and Donovan was always right there if we needed anything. The barn itself is wonderful, with the option of being "open-air" or closed off depending on the season. The bathrooms are large and well lit and the bridal suite is perfect for getting ready with your girls. Overall, I would highly recommend, you won't find a better place or person (shoutout to Donovan!!) than this one.

We went up to Weston on a whim after reading a lot of positive reviews of Weston Red Barn Farm. The minute we pulled into the property, I think we both knew we wanted to get married there. There is simply not another venue like it in the metro area. The hilltop barn is stunning inside and out. The views of rolling hills are unparalleled, even from inside the barn thanks to many windows and huge barn doors that can make you feel like you're outdoors while being under a roof. The lighting is magical. On top of the sheer beauty of the property, I think what struck us most on our initial visit and throughout the entire wedding process was the venue owners. Donovan and Steve were so welcoming and real. They took time to show us around and took an interest not just in our wedding date, but in us as people. Donovan was responsive and easily accessible via email and phone throughout wedding planning. He answered our many questions promptly, and referred us to some wonderful vendors. We ended up having some unseasonably cold weather for our wedding (think surprise mid-April blizzard) and Donovan was so helpful in making contingency plans the weeks leading up to the wedding. On our wedding day everything was set up just as promised. Donovan and Steve checked in on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. We spent all day at the barn- there is plenty of room to get ready inside, and we took all of our pictures on the venue property (in the orchard, on the hilltop, etc.). We had an outdoor ceremony in the drizzly rain, and there was plenty of space in the barn and on the covered patio for cocktail hour and the reception. We got endless compliments from guests on the venue. Essentially, we couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to get married, and have only the best things to say about Donovan and Steve.
