If you’re considering the WestSide Inn, book it immediately!
The WestSide Inn is a beloved family home, and that love comes through in every detail.
My daughter stayed there with ...
her fiancé (husband) and bridal party, which made every day a special day.
We first had a welcome party, with some amazing vendors. The background is magical, the golden hours make everything glow.
The wedding night was even more magical, I can’t say enough great things. The property just elevates every detail.
Communication was amazing. Susan was wonderful to work with. I actually will miss them, it is a gift to have these beautiful memories. No camera can ever really capture the moments that will live in my mind forever.
The Westside Inn was better than anything we could’ve expected! It was the perfect wedding getaway for us and our loved ones. Everyone we met through the process was so nice and ac...
commodating as well!
We had an amazing time staying at Westside inn and hosting our wedding here. The house is incredible and the efforts to preserve such a beautiful mid century home do not go unnotic...
ed. It’s rare you can find a vacation home that’s not been flipped using cheap materials and quick labor but Westside inn is a time capsule. Susan was so easy to work with and such a kind person. Everything went smoothly on the wedding day and all the vendors clearly had experience with the venue as well as working together so I barely had to lift a finger. I truly felt like we were getting married in our grandparents backyard, it was very special. It was also so cool that we got to stay at the wedding venue for a couple of days before the actual wedding so you really get to soak up that time and make sure things are looking how you want them to instead of having only one day to be there like a normal venue.
Susan and Westsside Inn we’re absolutely fantastic. We couldn’t have picked a better venue for the laid back, yet elegant coastal vibe we were going for. My love language is qualit...
y time & this venue allowed exactly that. Having time to unwind & soak it all in with family before and after the wedding was a huge bonus & made the weekend that much more special. Susan was extremely helpful throughout the whole process & was happy to answer any questions I had come up. I couldn’t be more thankful for her & all my vendors that day. We can’t wait to go back & visit a place that now carries so many memories!
Susan and co are INCREDIBLE. The house itself is stunning, almost every vendor we worked with knew exactly what they were doing, like clock work, because the inn is so popular. Thi...
s made planning and coordinating a dream.
Susan and Brandi are so professional and caring! They helped the wedding of our dreams come to life.
Being able to be with my family and friends for an extended period surrounding the wedding and having the rehearsal dinner on site is something I will treasure as much as our special day.
We would recommend this venue to anyone having an OBX wedding.
This venue is breathtaking! Susan is very easygoing and adjusted to our needs. They offer the essentials - chairs, tables, and lights. I loved being able to customize what worked f...
or us. Many people areas within the venue to take beautiful photos and to see the sunset. Can't stress enough how perfect our wedding felt.
Very beautiful venue! Susan the owner is very sweet and willing to answer any questions you have!
A week into our engagement I started researching wedding venues close to us and when I found Westside Inn, I immediately fell in love and knew that was where I wanted to tie the kn...
ot. The property is purely magical with its sound front view and beautiful flowers and greenery! We rented Westside Inn Thursday through Monday and held our wedding on Saturday in the backyard overlooking the sound, and it was absolutely beautiful. Also, it is dog friendly, allowing us to include our fur babies in our special day which meant a lot to us.
Mrs. Susan (the owner) is such a pleasure to work with, she was very accommodating and flexible, allowing one less thing to stress while wedding planning! She was great with communication, and quick to respond to any questions we had. The day we checked in there were some severe thunderstorms that caused a leak in the roof, but Mrs. Susan was already on top of it and had it fixed by the next day.
I will forever recommend Westside In to anyone looking for a wedding venue around OBX!
Choosing this venue for our wedding was the best decision we could have made! Everything about it was amazing, and we couldn’t be happier. The stunning waterfront location provid...
ed the most breathtaking backdrop, and the venue comfortably accommodated all of our guests. Susan was an absolute pleasure to work with—so professional and attentive—and the pricing was incredibly reasonable for what was offered. Five stars all around, and I wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone planning their special day!
Westside Inn is just absolutely amazing. We got married here on 09/21/2024. Susan is so easy to talk to and get in touch with. She was always quick to respond to any questions I ha...
d. The house was very clean and stocked with essentials. The view is beautiful! The yard is real grass so you don’t have to worry about the prickly thingys. Our wedding weekend couldn’t have gone any better! Highly recommend if you don’t want a typical “beach” wedding.
This property/venue was the PERFECT place to host our wedding. The size of the house allowed our parents and siblings to stay on site with us for a more intimate family experience....
The view was breathtaking and everything we imagined for our sound-side wedding. All of our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to. The sunrise each morning and sunset each night was the finishing touch to a completely magical weekend. The property was immaculate inside and out. The owner and property liaison made sure we had everything we needed. We will be coming back again to vacation!
Susan was an amazing host and the Westside Inn could not have been more perfect for our wedding day. The house itself is such a gorgeous place to stay and relax before your big day...
. We stayed for four nights and had an extra day after our wedding to clean up! This is a perfect place for a DIY wedding, but just as easy to make it exactly how you want it using the rental companies nearby. I would 100% recommend this spot to those looking for a spot to get married in the Outer Banks. Being on the water was so picturesque and perfect, plus having the house with all of our belongings in it was so helpful.
Susan has tables, chairs, and other fun decorations ready to go in the garage. We found it so easy to set up and break down for a wedding of 130. All of the vendors we used (catering, bathroom rental, and DJ) knew of the space already and knew exactly how to set up and where to be for the wedding.
Please consider this space! We had the best four days of our lives there and we hope to revisit the Westside Inn in our future!
This venue is truly so special and I can't recommend it enough! You will not find a venue this beautiful, private and affordable anywhere else in the OBX. It is truly STUNNING! We ...
had our dream wedding here and you should too!!
I was really worried it would be too hot to have an outdoor wedding in August but the breeze off the water was incredible and it did not feel too hot at all!
They do have some wedding necessities available for use- about 100 white folding chairs, round tables & a few rectangular tables for food, bar etc. Be sure to factor pricing in for tent/dance floor/portable restrooms- but that is pretty much the case for any backyard venue!
The house itself is a great layout and we were able to fit both of our families comfortably there to stay for the week leading up the wedding. It is very cozy and would absolutely stay there again for a family vacation. I believe you do need to rent the house for a few days in order to host an event there.
This was the most amazing wedding venue of all time. We got married here in late May and while there was some rain the day before (nothing a tent couldn’t handle!!) it was a gorgeo...
us setting. The team at west side inn were so helpful and had lots of little thoughtful touches. Getting to get married in such a home with so much character and beauty was truly a gift. We also loved having the house a central meeting place for all the events of our wedding weekend. Overall I can’t recommend this venue enough and there’s not one thing I would change.!!
Susan was so helpful and kind throughout our entire planning process. She took the time to show us their home answer all of our questions and offer her help every time we needed it...
. And the venue was stunning.
