rried it would be too hot to have an outdoor wedding in August but the breeze off the water was incredible and it did not feel too hot at all! They do have some wedding necessities available for use- about 100 white folding chairs, round tables & a few rectangular tables for food, bar etc. Be sure to factor pricing in for tent/dance floor/portable restrooms- but that is pretty much the case for any backyard venue! The house itself is a great layout and we were able to fit both of our families comfortably there to stay for the week leading up the wedding. It is very cozy and would absolutely stay there again for a family vacation. I believe you do need to rent the house for a few days in order to host an event there.

ts of little thoughtful touches. Getting to get married in such a home with so much character and beauty was truly a gift. We also loved having the house a central meeting place for all the events of our wedding weekend. Overall I can’t recommend this venue enough and there’s not one thing I would change.!!
